Have you messed around with a light yet? I really want a light for home defense but seems pretty limited in what can mount and if it will be mounted in a spot that can easily activate. Not sure whether to try a pistol light on the bottom or perhaps something lke a surefire m300mini scout on the side
I haven't, this is more of a fun range gun for me. Maybe do a 12 o clock or offset 1 o'clock mount with tape switch on the other side?
What color is that setup? Which CZ IA9 version is that? That is the 7.7 base model, or carbine?
I just got my IA-SC9 and heat shield. So it sounds you are recommending that I install the heat shield before installing the IASC9 to the CZ. Correct? Do you have videos of the actual install of the IASC9. Thanks really appreciate your videos on the gun.
Cool! Yes, I found the easiest way to actually affix it is to pull the suppressor off but leave the handgaurd mounted. Since the barrel is so short you have access for the nuts on the inside. Then attach the heat shield and then slip the suppressor back in and tighten down.
I've not done a full install video, I did it awhile back.

What length barrel / handguard is this?
