The fact that she deemed herself worthy to walk with veterans was obscene...to then do it in a hideously inappropriate outfit as if she was attending a BBQ in a trailer park was grotesque!
Incredibly rude how she walks in front of everyone. Anyone with an ounce of humility at the very least offers to let others go first. Even when it is protocol she elbows her way through to the front. Someone should start a fire & see if she runs in first🔥🏃♀️

As an American I see often especially on the news such disrespect for country, our military and veterans. I'm sorry, When I saw her walking in front of the veterans it made me sick and infuriated! Those above-the-ankle outfits aren't the best look on her, her lower calves and ankles are too scrawny and coupled with those huge shoes it looks very unattractive. She either wears the trousers far too long or has those cut-offs that might shorten her legs, but do nothing for her feet and the overall look. Here's what really got me about the way she dressed for "the ball". It's not just that MM didn't dress to match the honour of the event and respect veterans. Trying to flaunt her (alleged) beauty and sexiness by parading a half-naked, able body in front of so many people dealing with physical losses and emotional challenges is nothing short of brutal.

When I was 18 I saved my funds (259 of my local currency was alot back in the day) to take a woman's etiquette course. I felt I did not know enough and could not go to my mother. And the teacher always repeated...no matter what you wear, get good underwear.

Look how saggy her breasts look in that cheap gold blouse, the weird bustline indents in the infamous green goblin cape dress, the black shilling for Disney dress, and too many others, the underwear lines…lack of the correct (and correctly-fitting) foundation garments for the outfit at hand is key to everything you wear on top fitting and flattering. How this woman can have been professionally dressed many times yet still not know this is mystifying.
She needs a steamer as well as a needle and thread to sew on all the buttons that seem to go missing above her navel; why else would she leave buttoned shirts gaping open so low?

I don't know if it applies to shapewear but years ago a shop model (for one of the large Parisian stores that catered to wealthier patrons) told me that the worst thing you can ever do is to wear knickers/under wear that is in your size. Apparently as models they were taught to always wear 1-2 sizes larger than they were (she was a UK size 8 and always purchased M&S underwear in a UK size 12 for herself - and or other models, popular brand of knickers - whenever she visited). I've never forgotten that advice and now always buy knickers 2 sizes larger than I need, and you can actually FEEL the difference as well, much more comfortable and if you aren't wearing slips or are wearing slacks then there isn't the same pantyline visible because the elastic simply isn't as tight.
Thanks Marie Claire if you're reading this, that was one piece of advice that I've passed on as well and never forgotten. Makes life so much more comfortable.
I have some knickers that fit in the waist ok, but are way too large around the legs. They're incredibly uncomfortable, because they keep riding up.

Do you remember Princess Diana's admiral/military suit she wore in 1987 to honor servicemen? It was stunning and showed great respect to the soldiers. Speaking as someone with rather large feet, those beige flats in the first outfit legit made her look like she was wearing clown shoes. Someone must have paid her to wear them.
Minnie Mouse, that’s what she looks like to me. Pencil drawn legs and enormous shoes. She is trash.
Her feet tend to be quite long anyway, her stick thin legs emphasising that length, but she also likes to wear her shoes at least a size bigger than she needs. Combined with the pointed fronts, her shoes end up looking like coal barges. The way she stands is awful, and makes a bad look even worse.
That’s exactly what I thought. I have large feet, too, and flats can be problematic if you aren’t careful about they style.

@@parkemessier6128 all you can do is learn how to dress for that particular body type (which I share. Even when I was at my thinnest, I was still shaped like a boy with boobs). I've found that men's clothing fits me much better than women's.

It's as if she's digging in her heels and refusing to see the reality of her body type. We all have to acknowledge our figure flaws because we all have them. Being 69, I've had plenty of time to figure that out! There are certain styles which I never wear because I know that they don't flatter me. I've definitely developed a formula that works and I stick to it. It sounds like you've found your formula for dressing and I bet you look great! Markle could learn a few things from you -

I think she dresses based on how it looks on the models, or pictures, her distorted self image thinks that tall perfect model shape is also her. So In her imagination as she struts about she truly believes she looks like the model image in her mind. I don't know how she reacts to actual pictures. Certainly when a royal she deliberately provoked with colour and inappropriate choices when receiving directives to wear a certain colour group for an event.

I had never heard of her when the engagement was announced. I flipped through a magazine and still remember my first impression: This girl is a Walmart version of Katherine who does not have a clue how to dress. I sensed that the palace would have their hands full in their attempts to keeping her looking tailored. and appropriate.

EEK! I actually liked it at first glance. I still do, but now I can't see the bottom any other way. i did think the strapless top was too much an looked like she was going to lose it. M never learned how to “be” in her clothing choices. Doesn’t matter if it’s cheap ($70+) or expensive. Her shorts were not only inappropriate but she was showing absolute disrespect for the athletes. I hope I never have to see or her of her again.

Beebs, I'd love to hear your take on the horrid Carolyn Herrera poncho disaster Meghan wore to the recent Kevin Costner awards event. Among her many bad choices, this one is the nail in her fashion coffin!
What I find interesting is that these are all nice outfits but for much taller women and for other occasions. The romper would look good for a casual summer lunch, for example.
If you're officiating at a formal public event, it's probably not a good idea to wear a piece of clothing named after what a baby would wear.

Seriously! I actually liked the romper but NOT for that event and not with the ugly blazer. The romper would be really cute by the beach with a panama hat 😂 or walking around a tropical village on vacation or an outdoor shopping mall. Utterly inappropriate at Invictus though.
I don't like the "style" of tucking just the front hem of a blouse inside a waistband but leaving the rest of the hem hanging out. It looks sloppy and not flattering.
I agree. However this look of a tucked in front half is always shown by models advertising tops in magazines or online shopping. Can’t understand why as it does not show how the item would look worn in the usual way.

I used to work in a jeans shop and her figure is a nightmare to find jeans that fit. Wide waist and no ass. To fit the waist, they are baggy on the bum. To fit the bum, they are too tight in the waist. That's what's going on with the white jeans. The only option is tailoring. As we all know she is allergic to tailoring for some reason.

She systematically disposed of her stylists because in her deluded narcissism, she thinks she's a style icon. Clearly she isn't. She sometimes (only sometimes) chooses something that looks quite good on her but those are pretty thin on the ground. There is really no excuse for her to look like she got dressed in the dark, she has the funds available to make stellar choices, yet still fails miserably. Harry wouldn't dare tell her she looked mismatched/inappropriate/glaring VPL or he'd probably be tasered or drop kicked into next week.
Harry didn't dress well either. Has the man ever heard of wearing a suit to show respect to veterans in uniform? He always looked stoned, and both their outfits never go together or are appropriate for the occasion.

It’s just not something you can unsee. I agree with you 100% on everything! You didn’t mention my fave outfit (yes, there was ONE) was the all black tank & trousers & black heels. Helped her shoulders not look so wide, too dark to notice her lack of waist (no belt!!! Shocking) & pants were well fitting & the right length. Shoes were too big, of course, though!
