Would love to get these gauge faces for mine, if the owner or anyone elses that knows where they got them and if they still are availible. havent been able to find anything for a reasonable price (i.e. not full custom gauge job)
Its a child of its time, things mostly wasnt much better back then. As you say, the shift times are progressvely more irrelevant at higher speeds, where it takes much longer between shifts.
Same transmission used in many cars of the same era like Aston Martin, BMW etc. It’s a ZF 6HP torque converter automatic first introduced in 2002. It was good for it’s time but not nowadays with DCT and 8, 9 and even 10 speed automatics.
Very good time for a 14 year old cayenne turbo!
Nice my remaped 450hp Techart Magnum goes litle under 6. It's hevier car and 23 inch 315/25 tyers on alsow makes a diference in aceleration.

These cars have a very slow transmission, guess they are better at the top end
