2006 Touareg 4.2 removed the stock muffler and installed twin magnaflo mufflers.K&N air filtration ,Sounds great and boosted gas mileage. 2 in lift ,Bilstein struts, 275 65 18 Goodyear Wrangler dura trac 166 k going strong. Named cayenne crusher.
Sounds really good
i like! my v6 is so quiet!
Sounds sick!!! Doing this to mine !!! Wooohh !!!
I freaking love it. totally SICC
Sounds awesome!!What did you do with the open hole where the exhaust sits?
It sounds gruff and no-nonsense doesn't it? I kinda did this with my 2008 S. I fit a 3" HHR exhaust with secondary cat delete, twin resonators and a X pipe that I bought used off some Craigslist guy. He sold me the whole system, but with the HHR muffler and the cat delete, it was almost like not having a muffler at all and was waaaaay too loud and raspy for my taste. I ended up with a hybrid system using the stock muffler with the rest being HHR (Hank at HHR is a super helpful dude too) and it is just right now. Interested to see what you guys come up with next!
Sounds good KH
Thank you!
haha. Sounds like a beast now.
Might have to do this to mines
It surprisingly sounds really nice for just cutting it off haha
Did you leave it venting under the vehicle? Or did you vent it out the back? If so, how did you do it?
I cut mine off at the same place and it sounded better this way before I got the tips. I have an 11 S but it’s pretty much the same motor. Definitely the best sounding muffler delete I’ve ever heard. I really wanna hear one with headers and catless but that seems non existent on the NA models.
It honestly is! I couldn’t believe how good it sounded and I agree I bet It would sound really good with headers and catless!
Can't find an answer to how he completed the system. Can I ask how you did it? Or did you just leave it venting under the car.
@@2jsn I eventually took the car to a muffler shop and had straight piped welded from where the muffler attached to where the tips would go and got the GTS quad tips.
Sounds stunning, what did you add to this to complete the system?
This video shows it just cut off but he’s still planning on completing the system and reinstalling the stock tips to make it look complete
How does it sound from the inside with the windows rolled up?
Full send bro never lift 😏🤙
Nice. Why didn't thay make em standard wyf porsche
By removing the muffler did it gave you guys a engine check light? I love the sound btw
Nope it didn’t on his! The O2 sensors weren’t touched so everything was normal!
I was very curious about this as well...no engine light/hell yeah!
Any new upgrades to the porsche
Is there any exhaust leaking into the car?
I literally can’t turn this sound down low enough! One click on headphones is too loud 🤪
How much in weight reduction do you figure after excising that monstrosity?
Dealership just stole my catalytic converters so I’m thinking about straight piping! I shall return if I decide to get it done
is this the v8 model or v6?
V8
Awesome! But too much for a daily.
Is this just muffler delete ?
Yes it is
Should I do this on mine
Definitely, it sounds so much better than stock
oh my god i want to do it so bad my dad doesent let me xD
I was shocked it sounded as good as it did! Haha
How about inside? Too loud?
Actually it’s not bad at all! You get a little rumble at full throttle but there’s really no drone
@@BrodyBuilt I am going to do the same in the future.
I love it,but it does attract police.
Not yet! We’ll see how long it lasts before he gets pulled over
Don’t expect us to hear The sound that u hearing on the car from recording video
why to never buy a battery powered sawsall
Lol it cut it just fine? I have a corded dewalt saw too but no point in getting out an extension cord for cutting exhaust pipe
Shit.. do it to cayenne 958!!... That model is already covered 1000times... Nothing to see here....
Thing claps like a glass packed Chevy 🤢
Sounds really good
Thank you! 🤟🏻
