Very informative and detailed illustration. I notice both the Optical Fiber decoder box and Can Bus decoder are used to proudce Bose system sound and steering control, I reckon. Please confirm. I plan to buy and give a try on my Cayenne 2006. Thanks.
I have a 2006 cayman with premium Bose, do not buy it because I spent countless hours trying to get it to work and took it to a shop and they couldn’t figure it out, buy at your own risk, my connectors look exactly the same
Hello, I connected everything as in the video. The radio works as far as the internet goes, the radio station works but I have no sound, I connected the BOSE DECODER in exactly the same way and connected the cables. AUX IN and AUX OUT cables connected to each other unfortunately still no sound. What am I doing wrong? The previous owner had connected a DENSION GATEWAY to the back of the CD changer. Is it maybe because of that.
at 0:58 you can see all the way to the left, the module that comes with the Radio: "Head Unit Replacement". I believe this is the connector/decoder for Bose Version.

Have you noticed that there is a difference in audio quality after installing the Optical Fiber Decoder Box
Like your video and thinking about getting one myself. How do you like it so far? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have no problems with the Radio. It works very well. I would still recommend.

Did you ever find your answer? Will be doing this after a previous owner installed the gateway as well. Thanks
Do you know if an adapter would be needed to work with factory Bose version?
