Surveillance footage from a Metro bus shows the moments before a bus driver hit and killed an 87-year-old woman walking in a cross walk in Cincinnati.

We see how Metro divers drive throughout the city. We know what the city management's focus is when it comes to hiring practices. And we wonder why we see this kinds of accidents on the rise.
And in a separate note, Sun was at about the 2 o'clock position relative to the driver when he was turning and struck the pedestrian. And the driver is looking through the giant plexiglass covid screen to look out of the window at that angle. Why in the hell are the covid screen still up? Do we think that could have aid in obscuring the drivers view. I mean, do we have anyone within city management with any form of logic, critical thought?
Bad hiring practices by the city coupled with plexiglass with smeared fingerprints all over it and the sun at the 2 o'clock position while making the right handed turn. I hope the driver is tested for all alcohol and all drugs including Marijuana.
Hire based on merit, take training seriously and get rid of ridiculous things like the covid dividers that do nothing but obviate the drivers view.
