What makes Icelandic lifestyle so special? | Reykjavík Like A Local

Iceland is known for its incredible landscapes. Millions of tourists flock here every year to visit. But how much do they know about the people who actually live on the island?
Euromaxx reporter Brant Dennis traveled to Reykjavík for a taste of local life. Icelandic journalist Ingunn Kristjánsdóttir teaches him what Icelandic lifestyle is all about - and he probably imagined it would be easier. Because he has to jump into the ice-cold sea and taste fermented shark.
What is the verdict of the locals? Does Brant have what it takes to be an Icelander?

Very few travel shows features the red plains of the US, show the world Bryce canyon, Zion national Park and Antelope canyon, which is an under ground slot canyon which belongs to the Navajo Nation

It's not a narrow strait, you can see both sides, but cargo ships passing through it . Taking a local ferry is the best way to enjoy the view

When a visitor is offered the fermented shark, he or she should do what the vast majority of the locals do in the same situation: Say "Thanks, but NO" - unless you are an adventurous soul, ready to try ANYTHING. Most Icelanders NEVER touch the stuff.
