Sadly 2024 is more like to be Zanabi Glimmen (aka Banzai Lemming). 😂😂🤣🤣
You would think that if there was ever a solid reason for "being late to work", seeing a major accident happen and knowing you have video footage of it, would be the one.
Sadly some work places don't care about that.
@@BradleyMcCloudwell.. but i really dont care about that.
In Germany you get sued if you don't help..
@@BavarianTrucking Remember thats in america. Its crazy there because some places even fire you when you get sick and cant come to work.
Kann man nicht mit uns hier vergleichen wo der Arbeitnehmer für sowas Verständnis hat.
@@BradleyMcCloudyeah I wouldn’t care about that. If you didn’t realize the inclement road conditions might cause delays, it’s a demonstration of your poor planning skills or just that you didn’t really care. It’s not that I hate you for being late or think it’s a huge deal, but remember the workplace is competitive and I have 15 applications on my desk for your job. If I think one of them can do it better than you, you’re out.
If you’re talking about the police slowing down traffic I completely agree. It’s not like traffic was moving any faster. Leave your details with someone and be on your way at least
It amazes me how many cammers don't stop to provide footage to victims. It's sad. You better hope someone pulls over to help you if get into a bad collision!
Where I live it's actually mandatory to stop and help, if it's safe to do so. Even if it's just asking if help is needed. This law should be everywhere. I wouldn't care about being late to work or the passengers in my car if someone just got rammed head on at whatever mph...
@@semicolonliveIf I were with my kids or my sugar baby, there’s no way I’m stopping at the side of a snowy highway at night. I’ll take whatever the punishment is for leaving.
@@Elladril like i said: "If it's save to do so". If you think it's not save enough to stop, a call to the emergency services is enough
If they have cams they don't need someone to stop with their footage 😂 that logic just isn't it.
@@Chipznicecream yeah let's just ignore the possibly injured people, right? your logic "just isn't it"
2:55 - What?! "SORRY, BLOKE! MY CAR IS FULL! NO WAY CAN I CHECK ON YOUR WELL-BEING! TOOTLES!"
I think you mean 2:55....
😅😅
0:25 if his insurance sees this or especially if the other guy’s insurance sees this, they’re immediately putting Hunter at fault
as they should it was hunters fault the guy even had a flashing yellow light......hunter totally at fault
Yep, definitely Hunters fault!
Nope ,reversing must yield the right of way to directional traffic flow ,usually at fault if reversing & or making a wide turn ,it's the plow operator who must check for traffic when working on a public roadway onto private property & so forth
@@daewooparts while that may be true, their lights were already visible and they were clearing up snow, and also the truck wasn’t reversing when the crash happened, they were pulling into the side street; doesn’t matter though, the driver literally admitted they were speeding and it’s evident their speed was unsafe for conditions, I work in a law firm where we got a case similar to this where the client was trying to go around the truck turning and the police report put the client at fault for unsafe speed
@@B345T1N355Official amber lights don't matter ,it's the private operator that's responsible while working in a public roadway, technically they aren't supposed to be there unless officially contracted by the state or municipal government, he was both reversing which is 100% responsible & liable as technically he is going the wrong way & operation of a commercial vehicle on a public roadway which carries its own set of rules, the motoring public has the right of way unless they got either a permit or permission to operate snow removal from a public roadway & proper traffic controls put in place such as a flagger ,signage & cones in accordance to DOT regulations, such as a public utility
Did anyone notice the husky being ejected from the minivan at 7:38? "Thankfully nobody was seriously injured."
Omg it sure was. Poor thing. I wonder if he’s ok.
OMG YOUR RIGHT, IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO SEE IT! Poor thing, I slowed it down and the doggo seems fine, landed on its feet and slid a bit so most likely a broken leg and some cuts 😢
i couldn't even see it at first
7:47 - Did anyone else see the dog that went flying out of the van!?! 😰😭
Where do u see a dog ?
Yes it was a black and white husky 😢
@@pilotkiddtv4825 I had to change the video speed to 0.25 to see it.
That poor dog
Omg 💀
I also would like to say how well modern cars are built. So many crazy crashes yet time and again only minor injuries if any. Wow.
And imagine if you drive a new volvo thats even better!
I shared #15 with a MINI Facebook group. I had just got my MINI Cooper and was impressed how well it did being struck head on. No one on the Facebook group was surprised how well it did.
Yep those things are tanks, they did very well in crash testing. Most credit it to the fact that the Car was designed with a more or less has a track ready roll cage.
Minis are like go karts fr
how do half these people care about their work more than people having chances of dying in crashes
That first clip was totally Hunters fault.
agreed
After watching the first clip i came straight to the comments as there is no way the pickup driver was at fault.
Agree 100%
He even admits that he should of been going slower. The pickup was just doing its job and now thanks to Hunter he has to deal with repairs...
Cant believe the insurance company sided with Hunter.
agreed all the way… it’s not the pickup drivers fault! he was just turning…Hunter should’ve been driving slower! i thought maybe he was just not used to that weather but even if your not you still drive slow… i live in Colorado so there a lot of snow here.
In my opinion I don’t really think so just because the snowplow didn’t even use their indicator lights. And he even said he was using his brake lights, why on the road?
#25: There is a 3rd lesson from Hunter's situation. Buy GOOD winter tires. Honestly, I believe blame should have been split 50/50, as Hunter was driving too quickly for the conditions and seemingly without the appropriate tires.
#16: Jeffery needed a lesson in defensive driving. When a car is out of control like that, sliw the hell down and put your emergency flashers on. If he had done that his Ram 2500 would not have been damaged. Driving blythely on without taking any evasive precautions is not gaining anyone any sympathy.
#8: Lexi is another one who needs lessons in defensive driving. Had she hit the brakes she would have had time and space to miss the car that predictably bounced off the barrier and into her lane.
I was about to say that I am surprised that Hunter, got away with 0% of the fault. At most it should’ve been 75% 25%. Because Hunter clearly wasn’t driving for the conditions.
its just hard to tell but lexi def was braking, the camera slightly tilts forward right as the other car goes crazy
I think the excuse of "they cant go after the driver because their face isnt visible" is stupid. Unless the offending vehicle is stolen or something along those lines, the owner of said vehicle thats on the title or insurance should be at fault
Lazy cops, who do not want to solve crimes they see as being covered by insurance.
Lazy cops, in other clips they do sadly depends on the cops
He definitely shouldn’t be convicted for hit and run. The standard is beyond a reasonable doubt for good reason. But that doesn’t excuse the cops for not investigating. He might confess, or his ho might be mad and him and rat, or another surveillance cam along his way home might catch his face. 🤷♂️
Isn't the point of a hit and run the fact that you run so you dont get caught??? If they can't go after the driver, how can anyone get caught with hit and run then? I'd say those were just lazy cops
Just revisiting this, see a lot of concern for the Husky in my video (#15). The Husky was okay, at least visibly okay. My passengers were the ones who spotted him and let the deputies know. Unfortunately, after notifying them we lost visual.
"could not stop because he had a car full of passengers"
Wrong. He should have stopped.
Why? And it wasn't safe to do so.
@@meganbarber3599 Why not? it was safe to stop. She did not want to be bothered to stop. Used friends as an excuse.
@@markkoors9256 The shoulder was too narrow. It wasn't safe.
@@markkoors9256 how do you know it was his friends and he wasnt an uber?
If it was a ride share then he can't stop because he's on his passengers time and they are paying by for that time.
That box van driver turing that rig sideways in an attempt to miss the car was amazing. I couldn't put one of those sideways in a drift if I tried - in the rain! LOL
I'm pretty sure that car insurance in Canada is tied to the vehicle. So unless you can prove that "your friend" was driving, and get his insurance information, you would be liable.
Same by me as well, the police will put the blame on the owner of the vehicle, as being the responsible party, unless they can prove it was not them. Saying it was stolen your police report better be older, as they are time and dated, than the accident, or you will be paying, and there better be proof it was stolen, and you need to have all vehicle keys in your possession. Plus they will pull up your cellphone location for that time period, so if it was in the area you get additional charges for issuing a false statement thrown on as well.
3:30 stop being on your phones folks.
7:34 another terrible example of how you can be doing absolutely nothing wrong and paying attention but still have your day completely ruined.
I'm a new subscriber. I just subscribed. I love these videos
Bro I love your videos they are the highlight of my days when I watch them!!
Speaking on behalf of all Miata drivers: we don't claim that guy.
How do you drive 90 and lose control? I have a big truck that at 85 feels like it driving at 40 mph.
I regret not putting a dashcam on my Christmas list, I’ve been watching these dashcam vids for yeaaaaars now & have wanted to get one since 😭 they fr help so much, I can’t believe I forgot how badly I wanted one when everybody was asking me what I wanted lmao
Put it on birthday list.
Just buy your own?!
@@outhere8690 Obviously I will when I can afford a decent one, I just missed a convenient opportunity to ask for one, that’s all :’)
But they are all made in China, even Garmin brand. I don't want the CCP to spy on me. If it was made in Taiwan, different story.
15:47 Does anyone know what kind of dashcam that is? Looks like a damn good unit!
Came to the comments to ask this!
4:01 He forgot to indicate his lane change. Top off the blinker fluid, folks.
You just reminded me to fill mine, thx
I don't need to, I drive a big red truck. If you don't see me, then you shouldn't be driving.
@@chrisx5127 If you're too lazy to use a blinker you shouldn't be driving either. Doesn't matter what vehicle you're in.
@@lucasjoiner7150 Sorry, mine doesn't take any blinker fluid. I use manual blinker instead.
Loving the Dashcam Vidoes! It seems a lot of Hondas are involved in accidents. I know of the Honda Bump line. Maybe Make Honda thump line for this channel?
The trucker -“maybe if I beep long enough the crash reverse”
4:41 - Damn! Ripped the door off? What kind of side impact protection score does that Accord have?!
I have a feeling the door had been cut off to remove someone from the back seat.
*4:41
Why would the door fall out if the impact would send the door inwards. Obviously the door was removed by someone to get access to the back seat
That intro is truly a tease 😭
10:00 - This sounds hilarious. Like... "I have a girlfriend. You don't know her, though. She goes to another school."
Dennis C should learn to stay away from a Semi's blindspot, always pass a Semi as fast as possible and get away from it
This is what I was taught!
Omg ineed more videos!! Good day from monterrey Mex.
Great examples of how to stay safe while driving
#17: In germany when there's construction going on like that on a highway/autobahn, truckers aren't even allowed on the left lane. they're not all the same width and for safety reasons. vehicles are also not allowed to change lanes to overtake and you have a speed limit..
btw i love youre vids
It stands to reason that if there were ever a valid excuse for arriving late to work, the experience of witnessing a major accident and possessing documented video evidence of it would undoubtedly constitute a compelling and captivating reason, far exceeding the typical explanations one might offer. In such a scenario, the gravity and uniqueness of the situation add a layer of justification that goes beyond ordinary tardiness explanations.
#7 - 13:36 The flashing yellow light above the intersections means 'slow down,' something Miss Kyla doesn't appear to have done in the slightest. Darting into an intersection at that speed is akin to playing Russian roulette, even if you have the right of way. For me 20% Kyla fault.
man i thought i was the only one
i cant tell if its flashing yellow or flashing red. yellow yeah its a caution light proceed slowly. red atleast in my state its classified as a stopsign alot of the lights in my home town switch to this at night due to so little traffic is on the roads. either way Kyla was going waaay to fast, also i absolutly love it when people get into an accident then they seem to forget how brakes work. she just rolls slowly into the other car. once you notice it you cant stop seeing it in other videos
It doesn't mean "slow down", it means proceed with caution. The other car had two stop signs and 4 "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" warnings.
@@archfapper211 Miss Kyla has done everything, except proceed with caution.
This channel showed me why I need to get a dash cam
FIRE
3:20 is crazy
6:30 chill with the honking, the damage was already done the young driver doesn’t need to keep hearing a horn blaring at them while trying to interpret what just happened and recollect his thoughts
Horn might have been to warn drivers coming in from the rear not to run into the back of the truck which was braking all it could.
I’m thinking about buying ur merch!! Love your videos so much. I would love to send u dashcam Incase something happened but my mam won’t buy a dashcam😂
Shia is really lucky because if the car infront of her was her then all those passengers wouldve been injured😅
What camera and/or video analysis is that for #5? Pretty cool how it shows distance in seconds to objects/cars in view, etc.
I want to know too! My Temu dashcam definitely doesn't have that! (but for $16, it seems pretty okay!)
These compilations and working in a body shop finally convinced me to get a dash cam. Not even a week later, hit a dead deer and dash cam was the only reason it got through fraud being just over a week buying the vehicle and getting insurance on it. I’ve started a compilation folder for all the videos I have of seeing dumb thing on the road. In case of an accident with another vehicle, I refuse to fight word for word for fault. I think the dash cam even saved me from a tint ticket after city cop seen I had it after he put his lights on me while on the highway(I’ve been told our city cops aren’t even supposed to be on the highway right out of the city, much less try to pull anyone over while I guess technically out of their jurisdiction) I may be wrong but after watching back the video, he was staring down the cam(maybe to see if it was currently recording) until finally he gave me my warning
5:17 Yellow light indicates stopping if safe to do. 5:28 Neither had a green light. 7:38 At least he didn't run left through it. 7:46 They? How many people were driving that car?
5:17, "stopping if safe to do so", which it looks like the cammer was going a bit fast to stop. there could have been cars behind that would make them cautious of braking so suddenly. it's not illegal to go through a yellow. 7:46 what if the submitter didnt know if the driver was a man or woman? 'they' can be singular 💀
#25 Clearly Hunter got lucky with that claim. Had that hit my desk Hunter would have been 100% at fault for that accident. He clearly was going to fast for conditions and had he been driving slower the accident would have not happened. Snow plows make reverse maneuvers when clearing snow all the time.
#6 - That stretch of I-25 in Denver on both northbound and southbound is notorious for accidents. I have dash cam footage from when I came within inches of being hit by two vehicles on the southbound side. I have also seen several bad accidents in that area.
#25 The car was at fault. That insurance company needed to replace an employee.
@jefflee, Seriously? I imagine that's exactly what an insurance company wants from its employees.
Well I know it’s late but I was on vacation spending time with family but my favorite gift that I got was the dash game that y’all recommended now we just have to wait for people to drive irresponsibly.
Wow number 10 at 10:54 with the Subaru. It’s amazing that Subaru didn’t flip after being tboned into a ditch. They really earn their safety ratings.
The inaccuracies on Hunters wreck is enough to say bye.
#14 hit someone because someone else drove like they did.... Karma gets everyone eventually.
Dang the truck in number 3 was a Suzuki Equator, that’s a RARE pickup. Sucks it was probably totaled.
#25. Yeah I’m astonished as to how the other guy’s at fault. I work at a law firm and we have a case similar to this where the client is the driver going straight and the other party was turning in and the police report put our client at fault for unsafe speed. TBH, this could go either way, and I am 100% aware the police report is not the final determination for liability.
I think Hunter is a liar.
@@teebosaurusyou2-un2nz Yeah probably, because I know someone in a similar situation to this where someone was pulling out in front of them, they tried doing around them but then hit the car pulling out, the police report found my guy at fault.
Wisconsin Legislature 346.57(4)(h): No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard for the actual and potential hazards then existing.
now since this video, it made me think of a question. What are the top three most brutal looking crashes so far in this series so far?
all these cops responded so quickly. my friends and i were rearended in ATL in October and it took the cops 2 HOURS to come.
Got the recommended dash cam for Christmas from my daughter. Now I have to figure out how to set it up.
Hunter went from a Cruz to an Altima 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 man loves pos cars. But he already has Altima driving habits 😂
14:15 fun fact, in modern Honda vehicles the seatbelts retract via an explosive in the retractor of the seatbelt and underneath the buckle to pull the driver back into the seat giving time for the airbag to deploy, and on some hybrid/electric models also include motors to do this electronically so it can tug on the driver if they set off the collision mitigation control system to tell them theyre doing a bad job though it still uses the same explosive compound in the event of an accident because the motors simply aren't fast enough, all other us domestic market cars have similar if not the same systems because of feral regulations and nerd shit but i don't know about the electronically controlled versions because i don't work on those cars.
I can say for sure the Pittsburgh pa one don’t surprise me and I live a hour away from there did you hear about the tunnel accident a few weeks ago I hope everyone in the spark was ok
Does anyone know which camera was being used in Number 5?
Shia!!! Hot dayum that was some good driving!!!
For the chevy cruz accident that occurs around 1min20sec mark. Lets not forget to pump the friggin brakes instead of slamming down on them during a snow storm with snow sticking on the road. You simply cannot control the vehicle due to locking the breaks up for the most part, and even with ABS brakes, you still have to remember to pump pump pump, and not slam the brake pedal down.
2:55 bro I’m sorry but if that happened in front of me my passengers can wait, I’m stopping to help and make sure everything’s okay
I don't understand it even when you have to go to work or your car is full of people and an accident happens right next to you, you should at least stop and ask if the people are okey or not? Or wait until other people stop to check on these people.
I mean everyone would understand that your late because of that
That one sounded like an Uber ride or something. So what that Uber doesn't let you pause. Deal with the accident & refund the ride.
11:09 Ka-chow
That BMW was hydroplaning on a wet road 😢. Speeding was part of it but the wet roads were the issue. Slow down in bad weather.
13:39 I know exactly where that intersection is, the intersection is notorious for accidents. I live in that county FYI
Imagine rushing because your late for work and getting into a accident so now your extra late or can’t even make it to work.
I'm so interested in wham bam dashcam
I also denied medical attention after my crash and kind of regretted it. I wound up with a concussion and bruises on my chest as well as aches and pains all over. Even if you feel okay in the moment, get checked out! Chances are your adrenaline masks a lot of the pain
Last year i had my first car accident. It was winter and i was on my way to work when i made a error like the Yukon and my tires were shot and i claimed responsible in the end i learned
#4 gets you a two star wanted level
1:03 - I'm curious how the truck was at fault. In my opinion, driving too fast for conditions is responsible.
I totally agree, not only was he driving to fast for the conditions, failure to stop and you are responsible for the front end of your car.
@@jefflee7827failure to stop? Do u even know what that means? The truck was reversing in the middle of the road.
The plow truck also to follow traffic regulations. Driving or reversing into traffic is wrong.
@@robertheinkel6225 driving into what traffic, if you are behind you are responsible!
@@Shannon-pb7ut the truck was moving forward and also impeding the flow of traffic.
#14 that express lane was not very express. 😅
1:14 I don't understand, how is the pickup guilty and not the cammer? Clearly he crashed into the truck because the speed was too high?
Hi Wham Baam, when did Gared hit the Police car?
I watched on December 31, 2023 at 11:09 PM
This is why we save racing for the tracks folks, last clip just shows the danger of racing on the freeway and how unsafe it is for anyone around you. The audacity to just take off without taking accountability continues to paint racers in a bad light.
3 lessons on the cruze clip, don't back out into an active highway😊
Speeding or not he had more than enough time to look behind him before he continued into the road.
The second to last one happened in my home town
#21 - It looks like the Beemer might have been OK but the driver suddenly realized he was passing too closely to that white SUV and over-corrected... otherwise he might've continued zooming down the road until his next dumb mistake in front of the cammer. #19- Looks like we've replaced a HondaBump with a HondaBANG. #16 - And that, kids, is why we begin to slow down as soon as we see vehicles moving in directions not perfectly matched with the direction they're actually pointed in...
15:31 #5 the Lord is looking after bro in Lexus because he would have gotten killed if he was a second or 2 ahead
You know when a vehicle 🚗 is in a crash they have to put the hazard lights they also have to put the hazard light,s for any emergency 🚨 😅😂
7:25 This could have been avoided if cammer drove more defensively.
I feel like the horn can stop once you've already pushed the car for 5 seconds.
5:09 Marco changed lanes near an intersection. This is often illegal, and the cause of many accidents like this one
Marco Had nore than enough time to stop as well
Why would you let a child drive in the first one?😂
The common denominator in most of these is that the majority of dash camera owners could have avoided the collisions.
12:10 wow, what a tounge twister.
6:20 this Civic Driver is a impossible driver when it got airbags deploy+nose bleeding+injury+hitting big rig = 😨
It's awful, the traffic accident was so dangerou
#19: @ the intersection of Western & Pico, the driver that made a left turn in front of the Honda was NOT in the right as that car should have waited for the path to be cleared. There are four lights for the idiot who caused the accident: red, yellow, flashing yellow, and green. It was solid yellow, meaning that the driver need to get ready to make a left turn once it’s cleared.
And just like that the 2023 season comes to an end
13:14 they could get the tags and file a claim- insurance goes with the vehicle/owner not necessarily the driver. If I let my neighbor drive my car and they hit someone, it's my policy that pays out.
and why/how are any cops going to assume the outcome of an investigation that's not going to exist? that's lame. just say, "we don't have the time to investigate every hit and run that doesn't result in death or serious injuries" just be honest
Better late than never 😌
Number 13, Love Stressed out it's one of my favorite NOT fnaf song
16:19 was so avoidable
As a Europian citizen I have a question. What is the usual duration of orange/yellow light on a traffic light? To me it seems quite longer than ours.
