That first driver who caused the accident had a lot of nerve threatening a lawsuit against the truck drivers boss considering he didn’t even have insurance!!!! What a tool
What's the penalty for driving uninsured? Would insurance company try to recover from the uninsured driver's asset?
@Trust_but_Verify from what I've seen? There isn't one
@@Trust_but_Verify They likely have no assets. Police should impound the car though. Deprive them of the car for driving uninsured.
@@Trust_but_Verify what are you serious? Well first off it’s a ticket the fine probably depends on the state, second you have to pay out of pocket to fix you crappy Altima in his case buy a new one. I am sure there is something I am missing as well, bottom line it’s not worth it.
Very likely the car isn’t theirs either and he has zero assets.
It’s funny how people who drive with no car insurance are some of the worst drivers on the road and always want to say it’s not their fault
They probably got dropped from their previous insurance because of accidents or tickets and either can't afford the hgher premiums or no one will take them. So, yeah, bad drivers.
My first accident I was rear ended by a person with no insurance and her license had been suspended due to tickets for no insurance. Never saw a dime from her.
this, you would assume it’s the opposite
@@jasonfabrick9308 I become such a nuisance that they will somehow find the money to make me go away.
they are not "saying" it's not their fault. they are trying to scam.
Car driver: lemme just squeeze in here.
Surprised picachu face.

Yeah I'm not sure how many more streets of distance he needs, but how dare he have to slow down from speeding in a 45 left lane I suppose.

When Altima is involved in an accident, Police should automatically assume they are at fault and not need dash cam.
And assume they're uninsured!
Especially the older silver ones!
Why do they all drive Altima's? and always stolen.

Number 19, that flatbed is not “cutting him off” the merge lane is ending and the Hyundai driver is not giving him the space to merge.
your lane ending doesn't give you a green light to ignore traffic in the other lane. you are still required to check to see if the other lane is clear before hand. the car had right of way, the truck was required to yield right of way to traffic already in that lane. the truck driver cut him off.
@@baneblackguard584 We're not able to see the full video, but if the trucker was able to merge and the Hyundai intentionally tried to cut off the truck from merging, which judging from the aftermath is a complete possibility, there are usually laws that will penalize the Hyundai with something like "aggressive" or "dangerous" driving. Having the right of way on the highway does not give you the right to intentionally try to block other vehicles from merging.
Even if the truck did do something improper, that doesn't give the Hyundai permission to then do something dangerous right back to the truck. The car would be at fault for causing a collision not the truck for being a little mean on the highway.
@@ravnsovereignty7226 oh, absolutely. what happened AFTER the truck cut him off is just idiocy. brain dead road rage. no defense for that.
Zipper merge. The Hyundai should have backed off.
maybe one day we could have a Wham Baam Trucker cam channel
Wham Baam Bonehead anyone?
Best Dash Cam I've ever owned is a Blackview. it's 4k front, rear, cab, wi-fi, etc. When I captured a collision, the cop commented on how crisp and clear the video was. Not cheap, but worth it.
Wow that took a while. My submission was #7 thank you for blocking out the rest of my stepdad angry yelling haha, we love your videos and very excited for our first submission to be put in!🎉
I hate that spot of salt lake where the 215 meets up with the 15, I have plenty of videos that I still need to upload to my dash cam channel.
We had gotten off at exit before the merge and that car had plenty of time to get in front of me. They need to wake up and move over way before they need to exit
How long ago did you submit it? I'm still waiting for mine to show 😭
Since November
@@MidnightMustang I submitted the moose one in the first week of 2024 and it appears as the last clip of this video, so it took them about 15 weeks to use it.
Automatic jail time for people that drive without a license and insurance. The insurance industry is corrupt and horrible - but people that drive without it don't have serious enough consequences.
Jail costs money to society though. So imho isn't the right punishment.
Confiscating income and property above minimum to live untill fine and damages are paid seems a better option to me.
@@Robbedem Just take their car. Like how hard is it? Take it and sell it on auction.
3:53 12K?!?!? That’s way overpriced
5:30 it is funny you say that, because in many european countries, when you can not move past the intersection, you have to keep it free for other cars, even on multi-lane streets
Yup. If someone is making the turn on a three laned road say, (like in this video) you don't just completely go for it, you edge out until you can see what's coming. Treat the cars waiting like they are the end of a junction. These folk aren't the brightest
This is the law in many places in the US too. Do not block intersections. A lot of people ignore this and lock down traffic because they don't leave a gap when crossing an intersection.
I do agree that too many people will stop to let someone else through in silly ways, but if you can't clear the intersection in one go, you're not supposed to go.
Wham Baam Dashcam, Your videos always make me happy, so I subscribed!
9:56 ,that's called a "alligator in the roadway " 🐊 when a truck tire blowout is in the middle of the road
Yeah. When I drove truck and a semi lost a tire like that, it was all over the CB warning other truckers. They can cause a lot of damage.
It's almost always a "retread" which gave way. I know retreads are cheaper than new tyres, but considering how often they seem to fail, I'm wondering if there needs to be better regulation of the retread industry, or even a ban on retreads, for safety's sake?
Ever notice how cars like to hangout next to the tires of a truck rolling down the road? Basically a grenade waiting to explode
10:50 Hammie can literally see the worktruck pulling out, and only 4 seconds later he reacted to it, since they didn't collide this means when the worktruck clearly pulled out into the intersection, Hammie was over 100 meters away from it, assuming that they were going 45mph as they said.
Yup. Not saying the cammer was in the wrong, but a classic case of dashcam drivers causing a scene of otherwise easily avoidable situations to get a cool video.
He probably was giving the truck the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes I do that and become surprised when the person actually pulls out or whatever. To me, it looked like the pick up was slowing down
Just because the cam can see it, does not mean the driver can see it. This is a rookie mistake.
@@filipwassen7947 Hammies hamming it up
Just to clear things up, I was looking at my phone during those 4 seconds (still stupid move on my end I know) ….although i’m not sure why they left that detail out of the video😐
Gotta show some *love* to the instant, convenient cop!

6:56 I don't understand why number plates on the front of cars isn't mandatory everywhere in the US. It seems like it's just a way for many people to not get caught, I don't see the upside of not requiring them.
Because they dont come on all cars, some models dont have a place for one. 😢 its unfortunate, but honestly theyll get caught eventually. Cameras are everywhere, its only a matter of time.
Every state has different laws about plates. My state requires 2, the states around us are one plate states. Don't know why. Maybe it's cheaper for them to produce 1 plate per car than 2.
@@NeoIsrafil yes but if it was mandatory then manufacturers would need to provide a space. And as @nans969 said, if varies from state to state so they must be able to do it
really? didn't know that about the US. UK its mandatory on all vehicles except motorcycles, but motorcycles have to have a rear plate at all times. Think in India, I heard even the motorcycles have to have a plate on the front too, but strangely they are laxed about almost all of driving in general
@@TheGlovener1985
In the US no plate required in the front on Motorcycles. I have a motorcycle from India, and it has the bracket for it. Also, UK plates are so weird. They have the nice long plates for cars which I think are good. Then they decided to adopt US car plates for Motorcycles. They look ridiculous. In the states, the motorcycle plates are postcard size.
5:21 #14 what about where it says [ Do not block intersection ] ???
Not sure about Colorado but in the state of Texas it’s Transport code that you cannot block a public or private driveway at a stop and must leave room for access into or out of the driveway if the traffic in front of you is at a complete stop. So therefore it’s not a matter of courtesy but law.
1. You should stop to allow traffic to cross if/when it's safe. 2. Don't wave them on, unless you want to take legal responsibility for stating it's clear. 3. When you're the one crossing stopped traffic, take it slow and watch for traffic in the "clear" lane(s). 4. When driving alongside other lanes that are slow/stopped, don't go too much faster than them & watch for other drivers who might do something stupid.
@paulfrench7222 I can confirm in Arkansas that if someone waves you out into traffic they are NOT at fault for causing the accident.
@@Iamdebug yeah i would assume the driver making the turn is still responsible for checking that each lane has stopped or is clear
Most cars now come with Bluetooth. There's no reason for many people to be on their phones.
That's what I was thinking too. I have my phone on, but it's connected to my Uconnect in my car. Only way I will answer any phone calls. Texts get ignored until I can stop.
Just be aware that talking on your phone via Bluetooth has been shown to cause distracted driving as well.
Wham Baam, you say don't leave a gap when traffic is stopped in order to keep people from using the gap to make a turn. In most states, if not all, it is illegal to stop, stand or park in an intersection. So by advising people not to leave a gap, you are encouraging them to break the law and be subject to prosecution!
Same thing on this side of the world. Blocking an intersection is illegal, which means that even entering an intersection when you're not sure you can immediately exit it again is by extension illegal too (it may even be a separate offence).
My thoughts exactly.
Yeah this whamm bamm guy doesn't seem to drive
Bad drivers never miss their exit/turn.
I've been watching the Wham Baam channels for quite a while now, and every episode, it just seems to get crazier and crazier!
All-black Altima with blacked-out windows... no insurance... Yeah, I think I know the quality of the person who owns & drives that car, no surprises about that after-the-fact phone call. >:-(

They really need to make driving without insurance a jailable offense for 30 days.
And you should always get the uninsured motorist clause on your own insurance.
If dad wasnt there Noah would have kept following the danger 😆
I absolutely love your channels! Thank you so much for all your hard work for our entertainment 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
5:25 A wham Baam video is only complete when it includes this type of clip
Great video! If you get enough submissions would you consider making a Whaam Baam Trucker Cam or Trucking Cam?
There should really be an wham beam trucking cam channel, dedicated for trucking dash cam footage, as there is tons of them
the altima dude should 100% be in jail. reckless driving without insurance, lying to the police, that alone should be enough to have his license revoked.
Just wanted to say, the "remaining power" bar indicator for the individual video segments is pretty neat.
I look at these clips and theres a lot of them where i think if the dashcam owners were paying attention more then some of this crap could be avoided, if you arent always expecting the unexpected maneuvers of other drivers then you arent safe from them
Watching this road rage video makes me more aware of my own driving habits.
#7 9:05 Why do people think it is alright to use the zipper-merge" method to cross multiple lanes at the last moment to exit/make turns and expect people to just stop and let them
People suck at driving, this person suffers from short bus mentality. Can't read the signs stating the exit ahead which appear miles before. My friend won't slow down for people like this. He put a cattle bumper on his excursion and drives it like a tank. It is cool to see other cars bounce off it. He's never been at fault.
euhm, has nothing to do with zipper merge.
It's just being dumb and cutting in front without paying attention. ;)
The difference in damage at 2:00 is just insane. The altima had the entire back end torn up, while the semi had a small dent and some scratches.
2 dashcams in my truck,1 for the company and 1 for me.
Yep on my truck same thing. Company's dashcam and my dashcam.
Aidan should take his car to a mechanic and have the engine checked. It stalled because the car traveled backwards while in a forward gear; that can cause serious damage to the engine, as it's literally being forced to spin the opposite direction.
Aidan should also learn to not tailgate
On the other hand, what are the chances they were driving a stickshift? - In most auto trans cars, if the engine stalls the transmission is decoupled from the engine immediately, as there's no hydraulic force being generated from the input shaft spinning. So I'd assume it's somewhat like pushing the clutch in right as the engine stalls in the same scenario, the engine wouldn't have spun backwards enough to cause serious damage.
And he should check his tires - a small damage can cause a blow out later down the road
@@blanknam3d I'd err on the side of caution and get it checked regardless. Better safe than sorry.
@@SpawnofChaos that is the perfect way to act about your car
Literally always double check because something that may seem minor could cause severe issues later
I even have an example from my dad about being extra careful
His engine hadn't been going well for a while and i had pointed it out for a long time
Well turns out that hes very lucky that he work where he does as his boss's son is a mechanic so he get quick help from teh mechanic shops
Because his car had actually blown a spark plug (i believe it was) and could have caught fire vut luckily his engine didn't and he managed to get his cold engine to mechanic shop a bit away and got it fixed the same day
This is why i will always be extra cautious about anything that could possibly be wrong with cars
5:38 it's not about the right of way, it's about not blocking an intersection.
8:25 we're sadly never gonna get rid of people being on their phones while driving especially when auto makers keep putting so much useless tech in vehicles
What "useless tech" are you talking about exactly?
At some point, it will loop around to the other side and the vehicles will drive themselves... ;-)
@@captainwhalee Silly customizable display settings that on the dash that encourage people to flip through to see milage, tire pressure, etc. That should all be 100% disabled while the vehicle is in drive.
@@berrypi8865 Not useless. Just dangerous when in use. There is a difference.
@@baddriversofthenorcalarea500 Well, useless in the sense that there is no need for them to exist *on the dash*. Most responsible motorists have a tire pressure gauge and know how to use it.
My cousin has 10 cameras on her semi. It's funny how far idiots will go to try to get an insurance payout. She has had 6 people who have hit her truck to try insurance fraud and the her insurance automatically asks her how many cameras she caught the collision on. Usually it's at least 4.
I've had my new car 9 months. 2 weeks ago I discovered it has a dashcam.
*Wham Baam SemiCam!*
YES! Love it!
Another bonehead trucker channel....
It’s not that you shouldn’t leave a gap for oncoming vehicles to turn, it’s that they need to check and proceed with caution. It’s not on you at all. 5:26
Tailgating bad! Lol 😂
#6 9:20 - Wow, I knew what was going to happen the moment I saw how fast he was driving on that road! You wouldn't run on icy sidewalks, so don't drive fast on icy roads!
The Problem is: "... when his Honda Accord lost control". That Stupid car in control, was going to fast. What's the driver to do, if the car is in control?
Black Nissan Altima with totally blacked out windows? Who would've guessed? (everyone from North America).
Sadly, our tires can pop at the most random moments sometimes. I've had a basically brand new tire pop only a few days after installation, barely 3k miles on it. Happily, I've never had debris impact another vehicle yet. Hopefully, knock on wood, it stays that way.
Can't engineer out air at high pressure carrying a lot of weight held together with Kevlar and Rubber. Maybe an airless tire, but those don't exactly work for trucking.
As a truck driver myself, I've tire blowouts a number of times. One of which I felt bad about because there was an suv behind me.
There was a loud popping noise, made me and my dog in the truck jump, and a large piece of tire came off my wheel and that piece nearly hit the suv behind me. I felt so bad for that person knowing more then likely I probably just unintentionally scared the shit out of them. Thank god they weren’t one of those drivers that like to be too close behind my truck. They didn't stop, they kept going, though I certainly did stop.
I checked the destroyed tire and looked up if there was anywhere I could go nearby to park until I get fixed. Thankfully there was a small truck stop a couple miles from me that was on my route so I limped the truck there slowly and then called my company to send someone out to fix it.
Please all 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler drivers, don't get too close behind semi's at high speed. We can do pre-trip's and all that but unexpected things can still happen sometimes and the chunks of things, including tires, that can come off the truck is no joke.
My cat loves watching as well! (I have four cats, but just one seems to be interested in the Wham Bam videos)
4:18- gotta love the parade in the passing lane (cop included) and people passing on the right.
Nice!
9:12 “Check your Blind spots before changing lanes. ‘ Yes! AND install Blind Spot Mirrors on the Left and Right outside mirrors. Blindspot mirrors are especially beneficial when you’re doing anything besides driving straight forward. Like turns, changing lanes or reversing.
David, slow down and avoid the ditch 😂😂🤦🏼♀️
RE: not stopping for oncoming traffic - except don't stop in intersections. I swear hardly anyone where I live pays attention to that and the intersections are almost always blocked anywhere near lights.
At 8:39, the Honda Civic also had a yellow light and should have waited for the next green since he was stopped. The left-turning Honda Civic failed to yield the right of way.
While the honda will be held liable because he should have waited until it was clear. The Honda im pretty sure was in the intersection, which means he has to clear the intersection.
He does have to clear, but he still has to wait for all oncoming traffic to be clear @greatmatt301
lmao, love hamies reaction. As a delivery driver I do that about 10 times a day.
I lived in Florida many years ago. We called those shredded tires in the road “gators.” They sort of resemble an alligator in the road.
9:21 every single car behind me in a Michigan winter sitting 3 inches from my bumper

And thats why uninsured/under insured is so expensive.
Last clip made watching these vids worthwhile. Reminding drivers that highbeam quick flashes are signaling clues.
3:54 good job not getting the truck to stop.
8:32 And this is why I will never attempt a left turn while there is still oncoming traffic. I'll just sit at the line and wait until the next light.

Don't understand why that Tesla driver was "on " his phone. The phone has to be linked up with the Tesla by Bluetooth, so he should be hands free, calls and even texts come through the cars computer screen. Great feature.
#3 Hammie R. was not paying attention, he could have seen the worker truck much earlier.
Awesome
I want to know what camera #9 Sam has? You read plate numbers perfectly.
Number 5, ahhh, the infamous Florida Road Gator.
Hammie was distracted driving in that second part. Took him a while to notice the idiot in front of him and hit his brakes and horn.
Quite a bit of time passed between the truck pulling out towards the lanes and any reaction from Hammie.
Exactly. Hammie either wasn't paying attention or ran up on them on purpose to make it into a big deal. Not that the truck wasn't in the wrong...but, he made it into something it didn't have to be!
Why is it always an Altima?
They are cheap. Easy for young and reckless drivers.
3:17 I am 98% percent sure that is an ABC Supply Co. Truck. There are a few local branches to Apopka Fl. 3 of which are located in Orlando Fl.
I know a handful of people that work at ABC supply and recognized the logo on the mud flaps, as well as the color pattern of Red top, white middle, blue bottom, on the cab paint.
Hope this helps Gabe out a bit!
I spoke with someone that knows more, and its definitely an L&W truck and ABC owns them.
YES YOU NEED TO LEAVE A GAP FOR TURNING TRAFFIC if traffic backed up. it is the responsibility of the car making the turn to make sure all lanes and the shoulder are clear
NEVER EVER DRIVE UNINSURED AND/OR UNLICENSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#16 I live not too far from that exit lol, notorious for accidents. Not too long ago someone wasn’t paying attention and slammed into the barrier and dragged their car for a while. So many black marks on there.
Hammie, that fiirst trucker, actually was doing right overall. Its nice to see a trucker not clogging up the left lanes and making an unsafe situation. Shitty part is i guarantee you that there was a smaller car driver or other truck oblivious that hes blocking the passing lane.
7:27 I hate when people do this. Got a light a little from my house and so many people try to go forward instead of turning right as mandated by signage.
I nvr take lane changes lightly. Here in MA any lane is used as the fast lane.
The second truck had no where to go.
Yep, I'm still subscribed.☺
That moose was so tiny. It's so cute. Probably only 8-10 months old.
I thought that was a good encounter. The opposing driver giving a warning, and the driver understanding it could be a moose.
This is why truckers are getting deer.Guards bullbars and brush guards.
So their trucks don't get totalled because of idiots.
Hammie had 2 business days to slow down before nearly hitting that work truck.
At 9:03 when their name was Ollie that’s actually my name!
Sadly I can't buy either of the dash cams in the description as it doesn't shop to my location
So many poorly designed unsafe roads in the USA.
So many poorly maintained cars.
So many poorly educated drivers.
And few bike lanes, buses or trains as alternatives.
Yep that typically as allow companies and politicians keep people from moving around forcing them into Jobs at much lower rates.
Combine with fact at least 60% of Americans live pay check to pay check that definitely easy problem create since only form freedom is a car in USA.
the bulk of these problems is honestly the road's fault. just such awful design.
States need to get with Onstar and make it mandatory in every vehicle. Making the car shut down after 15 minutes if there is no insurance in the vehicle. The 15 minutes is for someone with a car they want to sell. Just so they can prove to the buyer it starts.
"we need more government and corporate bullshit because people are assholes".
How about no.
#19 - The Hyundai driver could probably benefit from watching the 1971 movie _Duel_ staring Dennis Weaver. The message is when a big truck cuts you off, be the more mature person and suck it up.
Or stay the hell out of the truck's blind spot.
For clip 14, it's illegal to block an intersection. Stop telling people to block it. You could be held liable if someone uses your advice.
mmm IDK. You can't block intersections definitely but IDK if the entrance to a parking lot would be considered an intersection.
Imagine living near Daytona during the Daytona 500 weekends lol
You leave a gap at an intersection to turn because it’s the law to do so. It’s the responsibility of the person turning into traffic to make sure it’s safe
5:22 in my country there is a law when in a multi lane road, one lane stops at a specific point, the other lane cannot go past them without stopping. That accident wouldnt happen here
The one in the snow is the most scariest thing to happen. At least there wasn't much people on the road to bump into.
It comes at a cost. An Altima is designed to be torn apart like that in an accident to minimize the risk to the occupants. For a truck, it doesn't have crumple zone and is just a stiff block of metal. If it hits something wrong, it sends a shock to the occupants which could kill them. On the upside, it's rare to cause significant damage to a truck and the risks can be minimized through safe driving practices.
First clip the guy wasn't using the blinkers. Most aren't using blinkers and at the last second.
3:00 20 minutes? Good lord that is a terrible response time.
That truck at 3:20 looks like ABC construction truck.
ABC Supply truck you are correct
2:35 Any chance to get the camera reference of Aiden? I never saw such quality on dashcam during night
Left turn on a yellow light does NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT AWAY. I have no clue why people think it does. All oncoming traffic has the right away NOT you.
Yes. You should finish your left turn and get out of the middle of the intersection. When it's clear to do so!
No need to YELL buddy. Perhaps the car making the left turn assumed he had room, but the excessive speed of the truck caught him off guard. Driving at a high rate of speed to make a yellow light is also way illegal.
#12.... Ive been pulled over for not leaving space because come to find out a firetruck needed to go between us and i couldnt move... # unrelated cop saw me and tickets me for blocking a access road....
The amount of incompetent drivers on the roads these days is infuriating, nobody drives like a sane person anymore they think they own the road.
It's why now my car is an old GMC CCKW truck. And if the incompetence of the drivers increase, I shift it for a Sherman tank! (ah, Sherman... alway down south in the land of traitors...)
Just a reminder to always get an uninsured motorist rider on your policy. They usually only cost a few bucks, and can be a real benefit if they are invoked. (like FL, where the population in Miami seems to think insurance is optional)....
