Causing an accident can be forgiven. But lying to police and blaming the innocent person should be mandatory jail time!!!
Agree
A good reason for everyone to own a dash cam.
Yep
As well as insurance fraud.
Agreed.
100%
5:53 in other words, the officer didnt feel like doing paperwork
Yep. Spoke with a state trooper a day later and was told it was a BS lie. Not sure what I could do about that?
Steve you had plenty of time to stop and avoid that collision.
Nah
Looks much better on video you know.. Avoiding collisions is for chickens says Steve :)
@@Gibbs-rq4yg 99% sure they include these videos just to get us into the comment section. I would almost call this 50/50 blame for how negligent the cammer was in this clip. He must have been COMPLETELY distracted, for like 5 whole seconds. That's pretty rough. I'm less distracted while fumbling for CZcams videos on my in-dash unit.
@@scrampker I can see that being the reason but I’m not mad about it. At the end of the day it’s the submitters loss for being completely oblivious to their surroundings In what could be a very avoidable accident.
its still her fault but he could have EASILY avoided it
I think you mean Cory
(#3) Anyone who thinks Larissa is at fault for the CRV nearly hitting her shouldn't be driving.
*Say aloud the abbreviation for Montana whilst pointing towards your noggin*
@@bitshtannicajohnson6957 Haha! This took me a few extra seconds to comprehend. I'm totally using this as soon as another opportunity presents itself. Thank you! 🤣😂
I know! Car came into HER lane. End of story.
You'll never see a competent driver whining about someone "camping the left lane."
@@garnetice1236 yes you will. some people do actually sit in the left lane and don't pass others. that is camping and misusing the left lane. it appears that this was not a situation where the cammer was left lane camping. that doesn't mean you are not competent if you complain about someone sitting in the left lane.
William, my man... you were in the clear! Why did you back up and confront her?? Sometimes, it's OK to let it GO. Was it worth it? $9K and all the aggravation? 🤦♀
Ego
I have to agree with Firecracker, not worth being mad over and look what it got you.
Drivers like that semi driver don't learn unless they are confronted or make a mistake. In this case she got both and he was covered by the semi drivers company. "9k and all the aggravation" is more so a "free repairs and a renter." Better for that semi driver to learn like that than to kill someone. Hell, maybe she got fired if we are lucky.
2 different people pulled out in front of me, 1 extremely close to hitting me, on my 2 mile drive to work today. Going back to confront either of them would’ve been a waste of everyones time. sometimes you just have to move along with your day
@Bowsarge completely agree. If she hadn't done it then, she probably would have wrecked someone else on the road, with even worse consequences
Is Cory blind?
Exactly what I was thinking. It was clear that person was running a red all Cory had to do was stop but giving the hesitation on going as long as he did it is clear he was distracted.
I agree but at the same time Cory was probably looking to his left while making the left turn and not paying attention to the right where the vehicle that hit him came.
@@ASSASSYNwhat are you talking about? You can clearly see the car head on from the start, that's enough time for Corey to see. So this is that he was looking left is ridiculous. Here was clearly distracted in some other way.
he was definitely on his phone. look at the way he sits at the green light for a few seconds
@@yours222truly Ummmm, a lot of people sit at a light like that for a few seconds in case there is a red light runner coming from the cross street. Why did you have to jump to that conclusion so fast?
#3,, Larissa did nothing wrong. it is irrelevant if she should be in the "passing lane" or not. The CRV driver is required to check they are making a safe maneuver, period. Anyway, people get way too upset about the passing lane being only for that immediate moments of passing another car. That would mean a lot of cars popping into that lane and then right back in front of the car they passed. Safer is to do that with lots of room.
Besides that, she was keeping pace with the car in front of her, so not even something to consider anyways.
I've noticed a common thread. There are ALWAYS "experts" ready to pick apart these videos, ready to point out the "error" made by the driver with the camera. It's evident Larissa was passing the slower RV, she just wasn't tailgating.
Your right. She was fine in what she did. The SUV was drving hella fast for the slow lanes and was as i call it pinballing on the freeway. Larissa. You cool.
11:06 what a stupid answer was that ? she would be at fault because she was driving in the passing lane ? LOL the one changing lanes is always at fault
For 18, the tire tread ripped off the truck, probably because they were old or had been retreaded poorly. The belts mostly held together, but you can see fragments of the tread still attached as the wheel spins
It is illegal to use retreads on the steer tires on a commercial vehicle
@@rickdavlin8190 In addition but it looks like it has happen before, due to the damage of the fender.
@@alanslicegarcia5066 you’re right with outlaw truck companies that just don’t care I know because I’ve worked for a few
@@rickdavlin8190 Yes, but that doesn't stop the cheapies. They will ignore absolutely everything if it means they can save a buck
It is probable the tire pressure was low in that tire for an extended time which would cause the sidewalls to flax. Eventually, the tread could separate like that. I have to wonder if it happened on that same position previously, and that was the spare or another random wheel/tire off a rack at the company vehicle yard.
"Lawnmower" 🤣🤣🤣

The one person who never Clickbaits! Love the videos!
Yes same like "Daily Dose of Internet".
This maybe not ‘person’, in my mind this is not his own channel/belonged to company.
European laws won’t let you show? England isn’t a part of the EU anymore so that’s fine
And European laws cannot tell you what to show here in North America.
With European he probably means countries on the continent Europe. England belong to the continent Europe and dispite that, every European country has his own laws. "European" has nothing to do with the European Union. And it is not an union like the United States is. Regards from the Battle of the Bulge area in Belgium.
@@randolfo1265The submitter is subject to the laws, Whaam Baam is not
@@randolfo1265 If it is visible in the USA then it is visible elsewhere.
I know Germany has very strict public filming laws. It is completely opposite of the US. You must get permission from the person or property owner to film them / it. Also you must apply for a permit just to film of photo random whatever on the street. So, technically, tourists are breaking the law if they are taking pictures and filming. If they tell you you must delete their photo / video, you must comply.
#9 when WhamBam said “Thankfully, Tonys brakes are better than the Tesla drivers, eyeballs or brain” has me in tears 😭
The one person who never resorts to clickbait! Love the videos!
That was very likely what’s called a retread on the ruck tire. They can separate from the tire without the tire deflating. Love the lawnmower comment by the way!
It’s a commercial vehicle you don’t put retreads on steer tires. A lot of new tires will separate like that especially if ran low on air.
@@paulshannon4576
LOL tell that to guys that drive trucks that look like that in this world.
@@paulshannon4576 bold of you to assume absolutely everyone does things the right way.
@@foxtrot2134 and quite the guess that it was a retread that went.
this my mom unknowingly got sold one last year and it did this the same thing on the highway and i had to go out and helper with it and get two new tires since we found out her van's spare tire is nothing but rust
I just don't understand how people can allow an accident to happen as it unfolds before them with plenty of time to react.
Number 18: I can tell you exactly what happened. The tread separated from the carcass. Either it was an old tire or a retread. I had the same thing happen once on a car. The vulcanizing failed, allowing the tread to separate while the carcass was still holding air. Does a LOT of damage. In most places retreaded tires are not permitted on steering axles.
It's amazing how many clips show people have time to honk, rather than perform evasive action.
That Volvo had to be someone’s brother, uncle, cousin. I’ve seen people who were sober as a bird, have never touched anything and still get thrown in jail because the cop was in a bad mood. This guy gets stuck on a rock and can’t hold a lane.
I hate seeing that. Takes all credibility from local law enforcement.
In Australia that would not happen or be tolerated.DUI here is treated by police very seriously. Why don`t US police have mobile breath machines to test suspected drunk drivers?Instead they do sobriety tests.I just do not understand this???
@@samkaur4098many do. But if the cop is friends with the drunk they might let him go. I hope the cammer here reported it to the higher ups, and if that doesn't help, report it to the TV News. Sometimes they'll do some investigating and uncover corruption.
@@samkaur4098 almost all cops in the US do and they are 100% inadmissible in court and the local police forces will protect local drunks and give high schoolers near felony levels of charges
my experience is when i was in high school i was going 17 in a 15 and the cop gave me a $750 (USD) ticket for "reckless endangerment". The only reason I got it thrown out was because the local judge was out sick on my court date and a judge from the nearby state capital was filling in and told off the officer for abusing his power
@@samkaur4098 They do use breathalyzers and Field Sobriety Test (FST.) The breathalyzer is inadmissable largely because they're unreliable and easily explained away. You can argue you have GERD, so your stomach acid comes up with saliva and distorts results. You used mouthwash or a breath freshening spray just before getting pulled over. Even just consuming a particularly yeasty food or drink can distort results. If the yearly maitenance to keep the machine calibrated wasn't done by the dept, that's also an argument for throwing away those results. Only accurate result comes from blood test, so nowadays breathalyzer and FST is mostly used to see if they need to bring you in for a blood test.
My guess is this cop just didn't want to deal with it and let the dude off easy. "Eh he won't get in trouble anyway" is a dumb argument.
Second clip is frustrating. I know the lady was in the wrong but Cory is definitely not an alert driver. He had more than enough time to stop and/or honk at the lady as she drove forward.
9:39 - That was not on his bucket list
I don't know whether to give you a thumbs up or thumbs down for that one!
I love how the speeding mini van still used its turn signals
It shows that there’s no excuse to not using your turn signals
Wham bam I’ve been watching for three years now to the point where I’m about to start driving I already have a dash cam ready
I haven’t watched the trailer in a long time and it’s ALWAYS THE BEST with insane crashes insane people AND MORE! I hope I can get to the premiere on time because lately I haven’t 😅
Same, first premiere in months
1:50 that was a retread, which are illegal on steering tires. An old bald tire has new tread glued onto it and sold cheaper. That's why you often see tires on the road with just the outer tread, the glued on portion flew off
At 10:35, that Honda SRV even has blind spot monitoring & still almost caused an accident. Wow.
Today is my birthday thank you for uploading, can’t wait for 3:00!🔥

Honda boy here that lawn mower joke was really funny 😂
so excited for next week!
4:12 you just reminded me that I had a 2002 Civic when I first started driving that I called a lawnmower because of how slow it accelerated 😂
Excellent work!
Stop Sign etiquette (all way)
1. when coming to a Stop Sign always use a turn signal if you are turning
2. first to come to a full stop goes first, then the right most
3. if two or more cars comes to a stop at the same time the right most goes first, if the cars are on the same road or three or more cars then the one to the north or east goes first (north has priority)
fun fact, we dont have 4 ways stop in germany. but in case of 2 stop signs. the one crossing the ''straight ahead'' lane of the oncoming car has to give way
Yeah, as a Finn I've never understood why 4 way stops even exist. They encourage "me first me first!" -attitude and make exception on basic yielding rules, which is dangerous. Just plop a roundabout or something if you want to keep all directions equal.
@@TheSanpletextexactly, I don’t get them either. A sure recipe for accidents 😂😂. Glad we don’t have them🇩🇰
4 way stops are first come first go. However, if two drivers stop at the same time, the one to the RIGHT has the "right" of way.... crazy right? lol. That's not law in all places, but it is commonly followed anyways. Also, as you have described, if two cars going opposite directions stop at the same time, the straight traveling driver has the ROW.
We don't have them in UK either. The major road has priority over the minor road, so there is no confusion. US roads are strange in other ways - double left turns, and freeway on-ramps before off-ramps instead of the other way round.
@Alan_Clark four way stops are generally on roads considered to be "equal." The equality is commonly physical vs traffic, but not always. In situations where there is clearly a main street and a side street, only the side street has them. We also have double right turns believe it or not, just not many. But we also have wide roads carrying lots of traffic, and when you need to get a lot cars through a light, parallel lanes achieve that without pissing off drivers by extending the length of a red light. The on/off ramps vary from place to place, and are even flipped sometimes depending on the evolution of traffic patterns.
6:04 So apparently it’s ok to drunk drive in Volusia County Florida. That’s really Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!😤
❤❤ these videos humble me and force me to be a great driver
3:17 the car sound so clean🔥
Teo's case in the UK, when you buy insurance you have a choice of third party fire and theft ( so in a crash only the third party, the car you crash into receives damages or if your car is stolen or catches fire you receive damages ) or fully comprehensive, this covers all parties involved in a accident.
Too many crazies out there..... drive safe and be fully aware of your surroundings 😮.
And don't turn a wheel without a dashcam, or preferably two, running. I have them front & rear in both my vehicles.
the more I watch these videos, the more anxious I become about driving around WITHOUT a dashcam!!!
Cool video thanks
Those mufflers can go crazy in the wild😂😂😂😂
Yeah i hit one recently and i got lucky that a bump was on the way so it only scratch a bit under my car, i would be angry if this muffler destroyed my 2019 WRX front bumper.
Number 18, I used to work for a tire shop, what happened was the tire was most likely a retread and the tread came loose and shredded, the tire was still structurally sound so it didn't disintegrate, he could have kept driving on that tire till he found a tire shop to replace it at.
I love your videos
oh, that dad joke about the bucket.. :D
Love your videos I have a 2020 Kia soul . I don’t have a dashcam . I would love to have one but I cannot afford one. Keep the videos coming it’s great to watch them
9:19 - Two Corolla drivers in Montreal - That's a Recipe!
Four way stop.. turning traffic must wait to turn after the cross traffic to the right proceeds.Straight traffic takes the right of way over turning traffic
S/o to Danny N for giving that kid a ride to school fr
1:00 I know, the red light runner is in the wrong, but how away you've got to be from reality to not see that stupid person coming face to face with your car and not brake, turn to avoid or something?
6:18 ah yes, kansas city. the only place where you would see a sports car crash into a pickup truck
1:55 Tyre went "BOOM" 🤓
thats so cool i live in syracuse new york and thats so cool
18 Recapped tire. A new set of treads were "grafted" on to a pre-existing tire to give it a new life. The "re-tread" was not maintained properly and the newer tread separated from the old tire. The old tire retained the air, but the tread fragments flew everywhere and shredded the fender as it flew all over the road.
I've had a perfect good, almost tire, non recapped come apart in the same fashion as the one in the video. Virgin tires can fail just like a recap, if there is a defect or extreme dry rot.
#19 - I can only assume they mistook the protected left arrow for a green light... So yeah, they were indeed distracted, because they thought the green arrow was a signal to go forward!
Wham Baam should make a motorcycle/bike Cam Channel
9:19 - Two Corolla drivers in Montreal - That's a Recipe for something!
Tony - the only driver ever to make it to WBDC that actually braked to avoid the collision.
These are absolutey insane
1:37
@Wham Baam Dashcam , commercial vehicle tires are not changed too often in most companies which own the vehicles, meaning they're extremely cracked, worn dried out and way less flexible than they were new, and when the tread of said tires wears to bare rubber, they detonate at high speeds, which not only violates the D.O.T. laws, it also violates OSHA laws
I worked for a company driving a semi and they changed the front tires often. But I do agree with what you said about most companies.
alot of crazy drivers out there
omg #2 is right near where I used to live. I drove on that road and stopsign so many times.
#3 Some states allow travel in the "passing" lane. During times of high traffic usually. Some states allow travel in breakdown lane as well during rush hour traffic hours
Yes, so true. I live in the area where this happened and it’s fine to be in the left lane in traffic. It’s not her fault at all.
The other driver was changing two lanes at once, without causing in the middle lane. The most likely were not looking when they almost hit the girl driving the car. You cannot believe everything people sing on social media like that. She was not wrong at all the other driver changing lanes was.
In this case, i didn't even consider her being in the passing lane as being an issue for one simple reason: she was maintaining pace with the vehicle in front of her.
Some states even have stretches of road where signs tell semi's to travel in those lanes for a short distance. Mostly because there are on ramps that congest badly at certain times and they don't want large vehicles over there hindering merging on to the freeway.
Teo's "insurance situation" is probably because his policy was "Third party, fire and theft"...not full comprehensive insurance.
Teo's car was covered for hitting a Rolls Royce or taking out a house...the damage to "the other party" would be covered.
Also if Teo's car was set on fire or stolen...he would get a payout.
BUT Teo's own damages to his own car in a crash are NOT covered....unless he fights the other party's insurance based on the fact that he is "innocent" and needs to "be made whole" again...Teo fights that fight in Court all by himself!
Teo pays less in premiums...but takes an extra risk.....
I would love to have one of these dash cams 😊
7:49 GOAH DANG BRO GOT ROASTED
For Williams, trailer swing is an issue. Yes, it is responsibility of trucker to manage it, and for hitting Williams. But hey, was it worth it? Cause interesting we dont see the part cut out where you turn around and chase the truck down to block them all so can have an angry tantrum.
And if he hadn't turned round to confront the trucker his vehicle wouldn't have been damaged.
Lets see if she would have positioned her truck where it should have been there is more than enough room to make that turn easily. I didnt turn around and chase her down, I backed up maybe 50 feet to have a talk with her. Her co-driver was the one hollering and screaming at me, the driver was calm but should have at least let me pull away before she took off. Exactly as the responding officers told her.
Wham Baam Texas Dashcam needs to be a channel! I live here, I should know...
i love the video's i am currently busy getting my license, and i will do 1 thing before i get my car on the road and that is a dashcam, i wont be driving without one seeing how people drive nowadays
Nah man, Steve gotta realize that he got to yield for idiots sometimes, he just kept going even though he could've avoided that idiot
Even though the other driver was 100 percent in the wrong, Does cory not have eyes? That accident couldve been prevented if he just stopped.
because corey could have avoided that the other driver isn't 100% wrong. Last clear chance law.

#16 Showing license plates on videos depends on the country. UK is not one of them. Seen many UK videos with license plates showing
Just bizarre and worrying.
To be honest I know of situations where people have posted license plates of other cars and those drivers of the posted cars have been harassed and filed harassment charges after finding the original poster’s video. Better to be safe than sorry to be honest.

11:46 Not strange looking Tesla, sent from Manuel from El Segundo, CA!
Number 18: This is common for trucks who use re-treaded tires. More done in the south, but the old tire is vulcanized to accept a new tread that is glued to it. When the adhesive releases from too many heat cycles, the tread comes loose like you saw in the video.
In number 6 what song do you play
It was a retread tire. And when they get old, they fly apart like that. Happened a lot of times on the 18 wheelers as well.

Tony was driving along with his family when they encountered yet another "Tesla Behaving Badly", or in other words, they encounter a Tesla....
William, was the confrontation worth it?! My goodness.
Big commercial tires are more likely to delaminate and have the tread layer completely separate from the tire witch is what I believe happened with the flat bed. That’s why you sometimes see big tread chunks on the side of the highway , atleast I used to all the time as a kid
5:09 plate: R1S 54J. I got it.
Loved my cMax in summer but hated it in winter! Battery never charged and always broke down by a 10 second count down to pull over! And shut off! Leaving me W/out heat or able to restart it! Had to go to dealer for a slow charge every other WEEK til after 1 year got rid of it! Even 2 software updates didn’t fix it!
For Brian r white pickup clip it is possible that the tire was retreaded?? And that failed??
How can I send you a dash cam video of a near by collision I had.
