Yea that’s a first
And just for that i watched over half of the video
Ya I just found him today and I am hooked. Favorite channel now
Good I came here just for that
Not sure why people just stop in the middle of the highway
#17 is tough. While the black car could've avoided the accident, the white SUV was stationary but technically sitting in the road.
I was about to post the same thing.
Yea the white car was a good 2ft into the lane. Its tire was sitting on the line. Had the black car not clipped them, that dualie behind them would have.
I agree, I’d call that a dual fault and hope they did too
@@katiewennerberg210 I dunno. The visibility is poor and the black car likely could not tell the white one was that far out. following a bit to close but still the white car is mostly to fault, imo.
I was looking for a comment talking about this after I saw it. I think a dual fault would be the best route (because the black sedan could’ve avoided it unless it’s a new driver and/or car they aren’t quite used to the sizing of), but I think the Mercedes driver is actually at fault here because they’re clearly in the lane. From this point of view, I don’t immediately see anything blocking the view of the road to the left of the Mercedes drivers’ POV where you’d have to pull out to see traffic.
However, I can see how the teenage girl made the accusation that they were pulling out in front of her cuz she probably couldn’t see it until the car in front of her had passed and at the point it was already too late (following a bit too close).
All in all, dual fault is probably the way it went I suppose (again, as the black sedan could’ve had a longer following distance, but it’s easy to judge when watching something happen, not when it’s actually you in that real life situation) or the Mercedes drivers’ fault for being out too far. It’s honestly just a bad set of circumstances. The Mercedes driver was the one clearly doing something illegal though, which makes me lean a bit in their direction and would probably be how I would rule it (depends on how long the teen had been driving as good driving skills comes with experience, usually).

I agree. The Mercedes was over the line, it wasn’t ‘obviously’ the black car’s fault.

Tha law states that when waiting to join a road, no part of your vehicle should be on the road. Keep your entire car behind the white line (if present) or entirely off the road. You can’t stick the nose of your vehicle out into the line of traffic in any way, shape or form. If a police officer blamed that black sedan they are a complete idiot, and totally ignorant of the law.

The fact your thumbnail isn't edited to seem more extreme is amazing. Its actually a real screenshot. Good job my dude.
One of the worst feelings in life is being behind the wheel of a car and knowing that you are about to hit or be hit in a collision.

Especially when there's absolutely NO TIME to avoid it....
One time, when my dad was driving my moms Tahoe ( it was me and my dad and my mom driving back home from vacation) It was a icy condition, and we were driving like 45 mph and dad started to get comfortable, and started to lose his awareness to the condtion, (Yes we were using four wheel drive, but it did not help at all) Once we hit a patch of ice, dad yelled out "NO CONTROL" And my mom heard it and braced for impact.. I had NO idea of whats happening, i blinked and wahbam, all i see was airbags and my dog yelping out for help, when i relized what was happening i helped my dog out fast as possible, making sure he was okay, There was no serious injuries, js bruisies from the seatbelt because we were dangling in the air. We spuned 180 degrees, and went backwards into the ditch at 45 mph and rolled over to the side.

I am consistently amazed at the amount of punishment that modern car bodyshells can absorb. "The car did its job" is a resounding observation from these video clips. Kudos to the vehicle bodyshell designers - and the airbag manufacturers.
One lucky situation that almost ended tragically happened to me a few years ago. I was driving on the highway when suddenly, a car in front of me lost control and veered into my lane. I had to quickly swerve to avoid colliding with it, but as a result, my car spun out of control and ended up facing the wrong way on the highway.
Thankfully, no other cars were close by and I was able to bring my car to a stop without hitting anything. I was shaking with adrenaline and shock, but I realized how lucky I was to have avoided a potentially fatal accident.
Correct....on the down side, when seconds matter, cutting people out of their car/truck today, is a real thing.
that kia driver that swerved so that the infinity didn't clip their car is such a good driver
This is what should be a "normal" driver. One paying attention in front and behind, not to the 6.7" screen glued to their palm.
It's always a good idea to be aware what is happening behind when you are required to do something other than the flow of traffic. The more open travel involved the more space should be left between you and the car in front upon stopping. Perhaps blow the horn if you realize the car moving up on you is not paying attention.

@@wilmerconstanzo6578 Yeah, that's at UF near Shands. The speed limit on all those roads is 20-25mph. So definitely that truck was speeding.

9:30 I don't know about US traffic laws... or North Carolina traffic laws but in germany, the dark car would be at fault 100%. You are supposed to keep a safe distance until the lane in front of you is entirely clear, not when you think the car in front of you is still changing lanes.
Absolutely Pick up driver fault. The SUV was never completely off his lane. That traffic law should be world wide and common sense as well.
i feel like that's just common sense. It makes no sense why the truck would just squeeze next to them. Some people are so impatient for no reason.
I think the pickup truck was at fault in the accident.
It's the same in the US. Its common sense to make sure that the person who is merging is completely over before you try to pass them. It would have been a different story if the car merged completely then suddenly switched back. But the truck is 100% at fault
Same law here. Idk what that black truck was thinking.

The Merc E350 in the 7th video was doing 80km/h, or 50mph, heading into an urban center. Cars parked on both sides, foot traffic, and overall conhestion would be a clear sign to drop your speed heading into that area.
Actually, they were going 92km/h just before the car pulled out. Definitely too fast.
3:17 kudos to the truck driver for making room to swerve, I don’t think many people would have done that especially pulling a trailer
Yes. In comparison to several other cammers who were late to slow down, hit the breaks or turn to avoid or lessen the chance of a collision.
#6 3:16 Lawrence was distracted! Took him 2+ seconds to react to the van's break lights. The van was fully on the sidewalk and beside the other car before we here and see Lawrence's breaking.
#7 3:45 We already see the white car moving left, 3 seconds before the collision but cammer Daniel didn't even slow down "just in case" and when the accident was clear, he didn't turn left at all even though a new lane opened beside him! Daniel needs to learn defensive driving.

The infinity driver behind that Kia driver deserve to smash into that car so that the Kia driver could collect on the insurance and the infinity driver need it to deserve lesson. I replay that video about five times you could see that he came from the second lane into the fast lane because he’s swerving in and out of cars and that’s what he gets here. I’m slammed into the back of the car because he speeding and rushing and tailgating if these people were not tailgate so damn close, they were not hit into each other and then on top of that when the infinity driver had to swerve back into the originally he was in, you can see that BMW that was behind the infinity driver that was behind the Kia driver that swerved into the median was also very close stop tailgating and you wouldn’t have to do all this.

Not necessarily, that spot is heavily trafficked and is an uphill curve that functions somewhat like an exit ramp for an interstate. Both drivers likely couldn't see each other until the last second. Which is most likely, why the Nissan driver was taking so long to execute a lane change. However, the more plausible scenario is that the Tacoma was speeding while entering SR 24 from US 441. That would explain why the driver of the Tacoma had to swerve like that. Just my two cents based on my familiarity with that area.

In Abby's video - The SUV didn't have full possession of the other lane, the truck had no reason to really believe that they were committing a lane change and should not have attempted the overtake on the right side. Truck at fault.
Yes, the trucks speed was excessive for being in the right lane and the van not being even close to out of the lane yet.
Undertaking is an abomination, black truck at fault, but the other SUV contributed by initiating a lane change to the fast lane without reason.

#2 is another example of parents teaching their kids how to not accept accountability and responsibilities for their actions. Especially the rich ones that bother me the most.
Yup... My momma always told me (us) "If you get arrested, don't bother calling home. You got yourself in there, and you'll figure out how to get yourself back out again."
When I went clubbing or whatever (usually pool / sharking for beers), I kept cab money folded in my wallet for the ride home... AND usually, I'd just go buy the damn liquor and bring it home to drink, where I KNOW I won't be a hazard to anybody but myself. It's really not that hard...
Drunk parties should be arranged so anyone who shows up can stay to sleep it off and recover... Folks are GOING to drink too much, stay up too late, and eat too much junk food. That's WHY we call it a PARTY... SO just be responsible enough from the beginning (while you're still sober) to make adequate arrangements for the thing.
Decency and responsibility in life is fairly simple. First, try not to f**k up royal... AND should you fall a little short, clean up your OWN messes. ;o)

...AND it's only because of "Anti-social Media" tempting these assholes to show themselves off and brag, when they're not being reported independently (of course), which is how these kinds of things FINALLY even get reported.
Maybe my experience is exceptional, but growing up in small-town USA in the mountains of the Bible Belt, I learned REAL quick about "Good ol' boy" politics and that I wasn't part of "the fam" that held all the strings... AND if you don't have blood to call on, you better have MONEY or you're just the little people who get stepped on and told how it's all YOUR fault for being "uppety" about BS... Of course, step out of line, yourself, and they'll hoist your ass on a pike and parade you around to humiliate YOUR family and friends with "This is how the worse half lives on THEIR side of the tracks"...

6:50 makes me sad. The white car (right lane) had some great heads up driving and was slowing down he was going to avoid what would have caught most people off guard. Then he got rear ended :(
Okay, yeah, it's sad... BUT the maneuver that would've helped him is "Brake and Escape"... Scrub off speed as you see the impending hazard, and as you see the next lane over is about to be clear, make your swerve by letting off SOME pressure from the brakes and steering out... Wait just until you line up with the new lane and release the brakes completely... and you're out of harm's way...
All of this, including a quick glance over your shoulder to be sure the next lane is clear enough, takes about 1 or 2 seconds to accomplish, TOPS...
Keep in mind, as a driver you should keep constant awareness around your vehicle, and try to maintain an "escape route" for this particular reason... It's a little awkward in the beginning, but keep at it, and it becomes second nature. You just get a sort of nervous feeling about being "boxed in", and build habits that seek out the "open real estate" between packs of cars most of the time... Eventually, you don't even really think about it, and you'll be safer for it. The glance over your shoulder should be "to confirm" and not "to find out"...
Finally, I'm not here to take anything away from the driver in question. A LOT of people would've failed utterly to do anything, careening right into the out of control car before it reached the wall or shoulder. This is just "what WE can learn from the clip". ;o)

Thankfully he was alert as he went to the left of me and passed. As soon as I saw him I was mortified. It upset me so bad what could have happened. I kept making gestures and mouthing “I’m so sorry!” He got up ahead, pulled over and waited for me to get next to him. I rolled down the window and was telling him I’m so sorry, I didn’t see him. He started screaming at me, making gestures like he was going to beat the hell out of me. I get that’s he’s upset. Nobody is more upset at me than me. He basically told me to F off and drove away.
Well, when you ride, you assume the risk of being hit. Sounds harsh but that is the reality.
So many of these accidents were avoidable by both drivers involved. Although the other person might have been found to be at fault, there's a lot of speeding, following too close, and people not being very aware of their surroundings.
For your emergency brake system to work you have to literally SLAM on the brake pedal to quickly slow down and or to lessen impact.
Insane driving by both drivers in the first video. Both could see well ahead of the potential situation. Too many lead foots.
5:20 kia driver was smart. was aware of surroundings including behind
kias also have great safety features that may have also helped.
7:04 Dude in the blue car went from peaceful to at fault in no time😂
Ever notice how everyone with Dash Cams always get in accidents?!? 😮
They don't. It's just that nobody uploads dash cam footage where everyone was driving safely, and nothing of interest happens online.
The airbags at 2:10 are incredible!
1:50 I love what you did with words there "the rogue Nissan" 😂
Right 🤣🤣
One lucky situation that almost ended tragically happened to me a few years ago.
I love how the Tacoma kicks the dirt up in disgust 1:42

Congrats on 222k!
Hello and thank you for making wonderful content ! Porsche is however two syllables ( por-shuh) thanks again.
I love the way you reshow the time of the hit and even do a close up.
I love the truck one the perfect 360 OMG
Just because you're distracted doesn't always mean you're on a phone.
A dashcam is always good to have
...except for crappy drivers. If you're a poor driver you might want to rethink having a dashcam.
Clip#7: Daniel was going about 55mph there. That seems a little fast for that road.
Stupid fast.. He hit that car at almost 90km/h thats crazy when you see the road they drive on..
@@Gibbs-rq4yg I'm honestly surprised he was found partially at fault.
He didn't brake much either....
@@dougsmith6262 The reason for partially at fault is it is Saudi and this is normal driving here. It is not uncommon to have a car turn left from the far right lane crossing 4 lanes.
90 km/h in the City? O.o That is most likely twice the maximum allowed speed there.
That "phone free" van is a parts transfer vehicle for O'Reilly Auto parts, moving parts from store to store for customers. They are decorated exactly like that. They also have pick-ups and little cars for parts delivery to shops. I used to drive for them.
These videos are a testament to the saying, 'It's not you; it's everyone else on the road.' Idiots in cars compilation is proof that caution is key.
9:17 is the truck drivers fault. The suv was still in possession of the lane.
Some blame can be assigned to the submitter for left lane hogging.
Totally! He was way too impatient! The other car had only just started to move across!
Yeah the black pickup could have avoided it. We've all been in a situation like this where we think 'what's this guy gonna do?" and hang back.
4:50 is why I have absolutely zero sympathies for bikers. If you drive a vehicle that's invisible to everybody else, you should drive like you're driving a vehicle that's invisible to everybody else! Although to be somewhat fair, maybe the car shouldn't have been hanging out in the fast lane.
That wasn’t a fast lane, that was a left turn lane
on god i woulda ran them over
I ride a bike and i litteraly cannot stress enough to people how they need to act like no one can see them and not get upset when cut off,, its pretty often that people almost cut me off but instead of being a douchbag i just nod my head and mouth "thank you" You know for not killing me and all that,, if im not on the ground i ussually say thank you to the car that almsot hit me but thats just me...
@@tonyterpene Glad you understand the problem. It's not that people are "blind" or too lazy to look around them. You are literally, and I mean literally, invisible to people who just can't see tiny objects in their peripheral vision when driving. It's the way our brains are wired, and there's nothing anyone can do about it with driver training or "share the road" signs.
On a bicycle, ride like no one can see you. On a motorcycle, ride like everyone is trying to run over you.
90+% of people can manage to drive down the road under normal conditions, but once something different or unusual comes into play, they are CLUELESS, HAPLESS, and unaware of what to do. The majority of people have had no training on what it takes to be a "safe driver".
Wham Baam, or anyone. What is the best dashboard camera you can recommend. All these stories and videos make me want to get one just in case.
Another reason why bikers giving the bikers a bad rep. You proved your point. No need to escalate it any further than it should.
Thank you for putting the clip that actually brought my attention to this video at the very beginning. I'm actually going to sit through the full 10 minutes just because of it.
Finally a New York clip and this aint to far from me
To be COMPLETELY honest. The elderly woman driving the white Mercedes-Benz ( 8:33) was ALSO in the wrong. Her front bumper was in the lane, if you watch all of the other cars were moving over and hugging the yellow line because of it. The teenager was most likely very confused and honestly thought that might've been what happened as all of the other cars made it by. The black car the teen was driving was still inside her lane. I feel elder people should start having to take drivers test yearly or two to make sure they're still capable of driving. If you can't tell that the front of your car is hanging out into the lane of traffic. You shouldn't drive. Period.
The first video was in my hometown. There's a reason I don't drive highway. People are ridiculous! Glad everyone involved was okay ❤️
Driving anywhere in the area is terrifying. It's like half the people are drunk or something.
That's why I hate new cars cause there all fiber class if u have a wreck it's done that's why I wouldn't own a car newer then a 1990 cause back then cars were made alot better lol if I was rich I still wouldn't own a new car cause I don't like them they crash to easy
That’s 196 not 131
@@adamh7317 you are right! lol I just don't drive the highways much.
@@vehemothphosbat2866 I agree! Better off taking back roads
The audi in the second crash held up pretty good for such a strong hit. Crazy the porche driver tried to leave so quickly. Hope they learn there lesson and stay off the road while drunk.
5:11 Kia driver defensive driving like a boss.
Teenage girls are scary drivers. I had a 17 year old with her dad in a mini van wipe my whole passenger side of my car even after laying on the horn she refused to move away. It all started with pulling inches in front of me from making an illegal you turn
I love every time he says the word “totaled”
6:15 tf is wrong with New Zealand roads 💀😂
NOT THE CHEVY 😭
Great content on your channel that will gain popularity
Very well done narration and even a label to let us know where the incident happened. Good job.
#4 happened to my mom right in front of me. We were dropping her friends car off at the airport and I was behind her. I was about 2 car lengths behind when a semi merged over into our lane, hitting my mom and pushing her for a while. Thank God she didn't hit another car like this one, but was still traumatic none the less.
Proof
@@craypeople4402 not everyone has dashcams
Driving through Tampa, FL is always horrible, and I used to work over there. 😫 But one day I saw a car swerving a few vehicles behind me. This was during rush hour, so I did my best to get a few more cars ahead of them. We were all slowing down around a big corner, and I saw the swerving car sideswipe a pickup, which pushed another car towards the cement dividing wall, and the original swerving car bounced the opposite direction into another car. Meanwhile a couple people tried to speed past it all, causing another collision.
Needless to say, I'm glad I was ahead of it all and I hope everyone was ok!!
I think most Porsche drivers need to take an intelligence test.
Your videos are so awesome keep it up!!
At 9:29, we were always taught the lane is yours until you totally vacate it. Truck was in the wrong as far as we were taught, they should have waited until the SUV was totally in the next lane. Been a looooong time since drivers ed for me, though.
also - pretty sure its a law in all 50 states/most of the world to NOT pass in the non-passing lane which that truck driver WAS doing - definitely truck drivers fault
@@kendog0013 100% correct, they crossed the solid white line on the right to illegally pass. It's 100% the truck's fault, but with such minor damage, the police may be reluctant to even make a report (there has to be minimum damage for the police to make one).
I love how the "Wham Bam" over the license plates look completely natural.
7:46 Even the traffic signals were laughing! 😂
5:37 he straight up roasted him lol
Your videos are very entertaining and I watch all of them. I have had a couple of these moments but sadly we didn't have a dashcam.
Lubbock Texas 🤟🏼 there’s alot of wrecks down here they drive like crazy
As a Saudi I can say that most of the people who drive here don’t use signals or check their blind spots which leads to many accidents
The one at 5:12 happened to me. A guy was at a dead stop on a road to let a driver sitting to turn left go. The guy in front of me swerved up onto the curb to give me room to make sure I could stop (I was pulling a trailer and it was raining). I could have stopped without him going up the sidewalk, but I was happy he did it just in case.

@F - LUCK must of been a pee in your pants situation. Mine definitely was pee in your pants situation.
3:25 The driver MAY have been distracted, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was by a phone. It could have simply been looking at the stereo changing a station. Or something to the side may have caught his or her attention for a second. Its safe to assume that the driver was distracted, but there are a number of things that can cause distraction, not just a cell phone.
It was a phone. Get over it.
Those are good points.
@@DavidWilliams-so2dy Ah, one of these experts who's 100% certain about some shit he couldn't possibly know for sure. Don't act like a dumbass. I came here specifically looking for Texan's comment. There are plenty of other things that can cause distraction - cell phones just happen to be the most common.
The fucking O’Reilly delivery van on the sidewalk 😂
