I see deck building and being a musician to have kind of the same idea. There are musicians who are really good at song writing and musicians who are not but have fun and are good at learning other peoples music and have fun in the process or just dont have the time to sit and write songs. Deck building in yugioh is the samething. There are people who are really good at deck making and those who are not and those who just dont have the time. I am one of those people where I like the challenge of figuring out how to play someone elses deck. I just find it fun trying to figure out what they intended to do. I am also not a good deck builder but can figure out decks pretty well. I also work alot so theres not alot of time to sit and playtest so this way is also quicker..especially if your new to the game. folks will try to shame you but i dont see the shame in it. The game is suppose to be fun :) So either way of doing things is fine :)

Zombie Master:Once per turn: You can send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 Level 4 or lower Pyro-Type monster in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon that target. This card must remain face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.

Here's how i wouldave done it back then: 1 Mezuki, 1 Plaguespreader, 3 Zombie masters, 3 Goblinzombies, 3 Pyramid turtles, 2 Redeyes Zombies, 2 Cursed Paladins, 1 Dark Armed, 2 Rykos, 1 Glowup Bulb, 3 Zombie world, 2 Call of the Mummy, 3 Books of Life, 1 Light Brigade, 1 DD Burial, 1 Terraforming, 1 Foolish Burial, and fill the rest from there with staples.THIS is what a Zombie deck looks like.
Maxx "C" and Effect Veiler. It really depends on what deck you're playing for monster "staples", which are really just counter play cards for decks yours doesn't fair well against. For example, Evilswarms aren't as effective versus Constellars as they are versus Dragon Rulers, and it would make more sense to run Veilers against the Constellars so they can't swarm (since Ophion pretty much shuts down the entire Dragon Ruler's deck so no need to worry).
was this made on devpro or the dueling network? i wanna find out the best way to visually make a deck so i can see what i am putting in, but i also want the best program for dueling. so should i make a deck on the dueling network and play on devpro?

TL;DR - Work from a small base of universally useful cards, determine an archetype/gimmick you want to start with, find support cards for that archetype/gimmick, find support cards for those support cards, repeat until you have ~40 cards, add extra deck monsters as wanted/needed.
If you ever run a dragon deck of any kind run stomping destruction instead of may because it deals a bit more damage with 500 to the owner of the destroyed card and that's it
This is azneyes, put reborn in even if you're playing grave keepers. And while you're at that put in tourguide, BLS, pot of duality, and maxx C. Were you playing infernities? Put in all the hand traps!
I understand if you dislike the Solemn cards because of the LP cards, I was that way too, but then I just realized that it works good. Also I just like Dark Bribe better because it can negate traps too but Magic Drain is still a cool card.
My staple traps are the Solemns, Dark Bribe, Mirror Force, and Bottomless Trap Hole. Plus other cards but ALL my decks have those ones, some don't have D. Prison sometimes, and sometimes there aren't any Fiendish Chains, etc.
I don't like solemn warning as much as bottomless trap hole primarily b/c of the LP cost. Dark Bribe I'd swap out for magic drain b/c its costless and its usually spells that you're trying to negate with dark bribe.
What cards do you recommend for gusto?
Could you do a video that talks about cards that you don't want to draw? Like normals for rabbit or foolish burial targets? When I run those cards I never can ditch them and they clog my hand.
I like this format better lol. It would be awesome to play the traps at two and judgment at 1.
Zombie xyz is a bit better once lavalval chain comes out.
That said, it does work if you can get zombie world out really quick. i normally run creature swap in that deck just to give them my turtle.

The only deck I can imagine not running Heavy would be Crystal Beasts. Just because even your last turn combos require a lot for your backrow.
I was about to say this myself. azn's stratagy just seems to be "make an small engine then have every good card I can think of in there."
I rock rescue rabbit in a lot of my decks because I enjoy using XYZ so it allows me too XYZ very frequently.
As someone who runs three mezuki this old banned list scares me... 3 thunder king aswell :/
Never really been in to Solem Judgement because the cost is just too large early on in the game. I also think that you are going to be SJing cards like Dark Hole, Torrential etc. a lot of the time, which is why I prefer Starlight Road. But as always play cards that you like and run with your play style, because they work a lot better than copying other players choices.

I think Dark Hole and one solemn are the only real staples. For example, decks that have field spells or a lot of backrow dont play Heavy Storm. GK players dont play Reborn. And 2 warnings sometimes are inconsistent. I think the best way to make a deck is testing it. Netdecking is bad, but getting some general ideas from other similar decks is not bad for new players. Just keep testing it and you'll see somethings work and others dont.

you can't use Mezuki on molten zombie, it's a pyro, not a zombie type.

Jesus when did endless decay come out cause that card is staple I'm zombie decks at 2
life points are a very expendable thing in yugioh. if your opponent is about to summon a monster that'll leave you taking massive damage, you might as well pay some life points to stop the play in general.

Yeah since zoma is a continuous it is slow and can be destroyed without effect resolving
i think the a reload is required card in any deck it's i run like 3 in all decks
Reload makes you have one less card practically. It's only worth it if you really need one special card out of your deck or if one of your cards triggers on draws (Tethys for example).
Magical mallet is much better, but still has the big downside of a disadvantage in numbers of hand cards.
If your deck has 40 cards with 3 upstarts you should get what you need soon enough.
super secret tech, pyramid turtle can special summon red eyes zombie. 2k defense is a broad selection for zombies
Maybe Chain Burn, Dark Worlds, Spellbooks or maybe Fire Fists?
When toons say "You can Special Summon this monster from your hand, but Tributes are required for monsters Level 5 or more." does that mean you cant special summon them from the grave? or could you run a chaos dragon toon deck? :D i would love that.

I've just started to play this game and I have tried to make decks however everyone i go against seems to have been playing for ages and pull out all of these XYZ summons ect ect and totally destroy me if possible could anyone show me a premade deck i can use that is fun to play not too complex but can still win games
I'm new too and I have the same problem. Try going online and looking up structure decks and using those cards as a base to start from. Type in on Google or something yugioh card guide and 1 of the sites near the top has just about every one of those decks and what cards they have
Try the Hero Strike structure deck. It's a good strong deck that will win you games and is fun to play with.

AznEyes! I only have one comment about your Hyunlei reference in this video. I think that would be a bad idea. I understand that you're doing this to educate newer players in the game, and in almost any other deck that would be an awesome idea. But its X-Sabers... They have Gottoms E-Call. If they Destroy your random Hyunlei, and if they have a Gottoms E-Call left they can take your Hyunlei. Also noting that random Hyunlei makes their E-Call live. JS Bro.

ZOMBIE WORLD - All monsters on the field and in every Graveyard become Zombie-Type monsters. Neither player can Tribute Summon monsters, except Zombie-Type monsters.
i think devpro is better because it does the work for you so on dueling network players might not understand eff and other stuff and end up raging

The only way I can play is on my mom's computer and she doesn't like me downloading stuff. But hopefully I get a new computer sometime. I'm gonna have to start saving up for one after buying pokemon alpha sapphire,, borderlands the pre sequel and some more cards.

Dueling network is heavily trust based unless you arent new to the game and know most of the rulings.
Yugioh pro does the process instantly and makes it so people cant cheat their way out of things.

+The Artist Of War Yeah, seconded there. Almost none of these are Zombies, no call of the Mummy, the book of life is nearly useless. Started off building a zombie deck, and rapidly went into a different archetype entirely. Maybe going with something he's a little more familiar with would have been better.
That said, The basis is good, and that's the point. Start with the Staple cards (Dark hole, Heavy Storm, MST, so on), Decide what theme of deck you want (Or at least the win-condition you want to use), then start picking cards that support that theme. That's really all there is to it. Everything else is Meta-knowledge, Card balancing, and Consistency checking that you'll get by playing it.

Dueling network. Its a free website where you can play Yugioh however everything is done manually. You should Download Devpro. It is also free and it is much better imo

Not really, because it can get counter-played pretty easily. Have a set monster? Oh let me just compulse that, then otk you. You solemn judgment it? Then I can just take it with Big Eye then flip it to make it even harder for you to come back.
There really is no monster "staples" like I said, only cards that you put in your main or side in order to counter decks you don't play well against.

Monster Reborn is banned. But for fun, yes, that card is super broken.
