I understand your struggle trying to find a good drain bag. I use the McKesson Enteral Feeding Gravity Small Bore set 1200mL it’s not a leg bag but could be adapted to one. AMT clamps are also a lifesaver because they can hold the bag to the tube

Glad you found the bag & tubing that will work for you, especially while on vacation. That stand/holder looks pretty cool. I can see how that would be a really handy thing to have. Enjoy your vacation with family!

The reason you use vinegar is that it etches the eggs allowing the dye to stick better

My son uses halyard / Avanos enteral drainage systems, but they are Enfit only as far as I know.

Hi Cheyenne, wondering if you could secure the bag in something like a 2 liter IV fluid bag. I have a brand new one here that has a very long shoulder strap that you are welcome to if you think you can rig it and make it work. I was thinking you could hang it closer to you with the bag strap to accommodate for the shorter tubing.

There are almost no bags that hold the amount of bile my body produces in one day and after disaster after disaster and none holding or working we have had to resort to taking the large 1200ml gravity feed bags and breaking the gravity rollers off leaving it a free flow and then flipping it and connecting it to my G tube and with the and of the adapters they give me when I have my GJ tube exchanged everything 6-8 weeks because a tube won't last either the bike I eating through them at an alarming rate but at least now I only have to empty 4-6 times a day this bag and it's long enough and gives me movement.
I use to use the leg strap bags also but was always worried of leaking. But now since I go nowhere not connected to my feed pump and a IV pump and I have a huge rolling medical bag that holds it all the length of the tubing and the quantity of the bag size helps when I have to leave for appointments.
