They are crazy loud compared to most helmets. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional.
@@AdrenalineTheory do you own one ?? If its version 1.0 I can understand but a 2.0 is not that same
@@alwayswatching2820 Both versions are loud, end of story. If youve ever owned even a moderately quiet helmet youd know that. By design the helmet will just be noisy. The nose piece and fake side vents just create turbulence. I cant see this helmet being completely worked out until maybe version 4.0 unless they really put time into it before the next release.
@@AdrenalineTheory but seeing as you have not had the helmet so for lack of knowledge you do not know ... friend of mine was shipped a 2.0 and I currently own the 1.0 and as it stand from testing the 2.0 personally it is very different from the 1.0 I own several helmets from aria to icon . If your advocate something you dont know about some one is creating a false narrative

Great review. I have the atlas 1.0. How did you fix you go pro to the helmet please? With just sticky pads? Don’t know if I trust that not to come off? Lol
When you open up the 3 position chin vent all the way, it clears up the visor like immediately w/o the pinlock.

Well.firstly thank you very much for this review as I've been looking at getting this exact helmet.However it did confirm that it's basically a summer helmet for summer riders and it's noisy due to that lack of chin wrap. I've had shoe lids for 25 years of 31 years of riding all year. Think I am just gonna buy another shoei as I can rely on them.yo be good at everything. Thanks for the review though👍

The Shockwave and the pinlock visor are not included. They must be purchased at an additional charge. You do get the clear visor and the black visor.

I’ve got a bell bullitt and it’s quite noisy. Would you know if it’s quieter then the bell. I appreciate it may be a long shot. Look forward to the shockwave vid 👍🏽

I like ARAI, because behind, in the nape of the neck, the cervical has a slightly longer shell at the back, behind compared to other helmets, and it shelters better from the air at the rear than other helmets. in your opinion, does this RUROC helmet have a long covering shell similar to arai, or short?
Wouldn't it be useful to have Dual Visors? My mate has a Helme that has both a clear and Tinted Visor built-in. So in sunny weather, you have your tinted Visor and in Low Light or Night Riding, you use your Clear Visor. This would be really convenient!

awesome 🔥🔥🤘, iam interested in getting the ruroc atlas 2 carbon, but iam concerned about the fit size, i usually wear (M size - head circumference 57cm) in most of helmets, do you recommend to go for one size bigger (L) ? please assist
Do those black visors have UV protection ? I never use them myself , but I recall when tinted visors first came out , they could damage your eyes , as the pupils opened up to deal with reduced light , but UV got through , guess they have that covered now ???? , on the visor , looks like the "latch" is a small magnet, if so , try a piece of duct tape on it , might reduce the force a bit .

The 1.0 is a giant piece of garbage.

They have PROPERLY shat the bed with this. Order (and pay) now for a 20th June delivery?? Everyone who tries to order this thing seems to have to wait 2 months minimum for delivery. What is this? A kickstarter campaign, or a legitimate company?
Looks similar to Smiths helmet. I have hot a atlas 1.0 & 2.0.
Good review but can’t believe you didn’t mention the price. Once of (if not the) most expensive helmets out there at the moment and no mention of “is it worth the price tag it comes with”

It's worth saying that to get what is in the box on this video, you'd have to pay £555! For £350 you don't even get the pinlock. That makes this an expensive lid

Nice review, defo on my lid consideration list. One comment, at the risk of sounding like a nob - you mention national speed limit, but you were on a dual carriageway split by central reservation which means the speed limit is 70mph (unless otherwise stated)!! Don't want you to be missing out on an extra 10mph of fun!! ;)
Does it come with sun visor if u have the clear visor on
None of the Ruroc Atlas helmets have an internal sun visor, including the new 3.0. This is one of the big dissapointments for me. A "premium" priced helmet without many premium features.

Why didn't you get a pin lock for your shoei visor to stop fogging. Pin locks are the future fuck lifting visor at junctions

@@AOK12121 Because I tried to order the 2.0. Ordered it as soon as it went live. My payment was accepted at 0001 GST. Then they said it wouldn't be shipping until the end of April. If anything thing this whole "launch" was a glorified preorder. Ruroc is a shit company that hides behind a mom and pop facade. They gave away helmets to "influencers" to talk up their product. I have unsubbed from all the Ruroc whores on CZcams. From the actual reviews I wasn't the only one pissed. I spent almost $1000 and it took almost two weeks to get a responds from anyone at the company to get a refund. I had to file a claim with PayPal and they still didn't do anything. But the second I left a Trust Pilot review, they got on it quick. I had a little back and forth with them through email. Offering discout codes and free helmet visors. All I wanted was a helmet and they wanted me to wait three months? Fuck that. I ordered a Simpson and it was delivered the next day for less than half the price from a company with a long history of protecting their customers.
