Aaaa! Mine is waiting in the box to film unpacking! With an Atlas 1.0 I did many miles, nine countries solo road trip straight from the box last summer. Cool lids they are. Totally cool.

What do the dispatch dates mean?
@@ryanmesserli it is the dates that are given from Ruroc when you purchase your lid. It is the date that it is supposed to be sent out to you. Due to the worldwide spread most of it has been put on hold or pushed back. Ruroc is working hard to get back on track. Definitely worth the wait!

I normally don't get even remotely excited about visors but I have to say that those visors are really slick. I will be in the market for a new helmet soon and Ruroc is a definite contender.

@@tsundokus I have a few lenses that I ordered a few days ago that are shipping out Monday but the helmet itself... Still waiting. I have reached out about it because I was seeing my same size and design being shipped out to those that ordered it a month ago and all they could say is that it should be sent out before the end of the month. Patiently waiting.

I have the raw carbon. Fit was a little loose waiting for some thicker padding to arrive. Ordered long chin curtain also. Need a red visor now.
I definitely want to get a full face helmet and Ruroc is top of the list. Not a single person I know that rides has a full face so I am skeptical about ordering online as I can't try it on to make sure it fits properly 1st. Thinking I might just have to bite the bullet and order a Ruroc with that sweet blue visor! 💙

I love the red iridescent. The helmets are sick looking . I can’t afford one now with not working with the covid 19 and have pancreas surgeries but when it’s all said and done I plan on getting one just because of your reviews

Your first review was one of the main reasons I went with my Atlas 2.0. I ended up getting the Diablo and it would look great with the red tinted lens if you're giving it away. If not that's fine too, I'll still watch your vids every time they come out.
Only thing missing, in my humble opinion. Is the inside out view. How much tint is in the visors, and what is the difference between the visors?

I think this is going to be my next helmet which I should be buying within a month. These lenses are badass for sure. Love the pinlock too. Looking forward to your long term review of this helmet. Are these lenses tinted from the riders perspective or do you see any of the color?

Almost bought one, but couldn’t pull the trigger without being able to try it on. Ended up with a Shoei GT Air2
They run pretty true to size and fit intermediate oval pretty well (my head shape.) Size chart is on their site as well 👍🏼
The gold and red visors looks pretty BA in person. My toxin has shipped and I ordered the red and gold visor and shockwave with it.
Dude I went with a shoei rf 1200 because I don't know how these fit but I really want the mercury... So sweet
I was looking at the mercury as well. But for the helmet and blue visor with protection plan(my bike is blue and chrome and Roruc doesn't offer a mirror finish visor which is very disappointing) it came to around $650 USD. So I opted for the LS2 Assault helmet in the brushed alloy for about a quarter of the price and let me tell you it's just as sick a helmet

Just found your channel and I love that you ride a sportster and other bikes but I got me a sporty for a first bike so far loving it getting to ride with my dad and his friends and I’m able to somehow kinda keep up with their touring bikes since they aren’t always speeding lol but I can keep up a bit since I weigh so little

So I'm looking into a new helmet and am very torn between the Simpson Ghost Bandit and the Ruroc Atlas 2.0... I know a lot of opinions are subjective but knowing you've ridden with both I have a few questions for ya. My biggest concern is air flow so question 1, out of the 2 witch helmet flows better/more air? For question 2, witch one "feels" better when wearing it and hows the buffeting? I ride freeways and highways most of the time so doing 65+ MPH a lot. Oh and are all the colors on the Ruroc shields all the same darkness or is a there difference. Maybe just maybe you could do a comparison vid 😏😁😅

Are these helmets eyewhere friendly? I have to wear prescription glasses. Some helmets such as Bell SRT (and Eliminator) have internal slots to accommodate the arms of your glasses.
If only these had a internal sun visor, i'd make the jump in a heartbeat.
Internal visor is cool but it adds a lot of weight to the helmet and also causes the safety rating of it to go down.
@@BlockheadMoto Odd as all my HJC helmets have had this feature and have come with ECE ratings and ACU gold ( can be used on race tracks in UK ). My currant HJC F70 is only 0.45 pounds heavier than the Ruroc. I'm not bashing here, its just a feature i've come to think as essential to me. Come on Ruroc, make it a thing for version 3 :).
Also the fact the Bluetooth module cannot be used as a communicator is ridiculous.
Yeah and the $575 price sticker on some of them should include the bluetooth. Oh and they don't offer a mirror visor either

great video - had lots of fun watching it. Have you ever owned a Arai or Shoei or AGV. I like quiet. Are the Ruroc helmets quiet?
Apparently not so I've been told, personally I'd use an Arai everytime if I had the choice. Race proven comfortable & uber quiet 👌
I’ve owned numerous Shoei’s. They are quieter, but not as lightweight. I think the Ruroc’s are about a 1/2 lb lighter (as per John Maxwell’s vid), which is huge in terms of helmet weight on your neck.
