Yay!!!!! She is up in running I'm so happy for both of you having a descent life in GOOD OLD MEXICO
Really enjoyed it thank you
Its beautiful down there!
Thank you for the rides around the Lakeside communities. Spent 8 months there since May 2019. Retiring there soon. La Floresta is one of my favorite areas.
One of the most beautiful virtual tours I've ever taken, I was born in Guadalajara, then my family migrated to U.S.A, when I was 13 years old, now I'm 41 still in the States and missing my country.
Love your tours J.C. !!
Beautiful place!....♥️
I like this vid.. Lovely tours..
So happy see you both doing well.
I love driving through neighborhoods! Thank you for the tour.
Love the video tours. Thank you for sharing!
I kinda like it. 😍
That was a nice tour. As always a treat. Thank you so much 😊
I so enjoyed the tour! Awesome dub and edit skills.
Glad to here you both are doing better. I enjoy the scenic drives through the neighborhoods and your local perspective. Thank you
Love your videos!
Really great. More, more, more please.
Lovely tour, enjoyed very much. Reminiscent of when I lived in Peru for 8 years. Thank you.
Grest video, towards the end there I almost thought you were going to walk right into the pool. Great to see Lynn doing better chin up Lynn.
Banyun trees? Gorrrrg! The birdies were funny.😉
So happy to hear that you're both doing just fine! Looks like you both have carved yourselves out quite the life there in Mexico!! This tour was great!! Your home is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Jerry, glad you're feeling better! Great video tour. It's nice to get to see the neighborhood and streets in the area. Makes it feel more "real" to those of us who haven't had the pleasure of visiting there, at least not yet. Glad that Lynn is doing OK too. She's a real trooper!
That's pretty!
I fell last year, hard, and spent 2 months of painful recovery, not to mention the cost. Oh, to be able to sit on a patio in the sun or drive around Lake Chapala!! I would feel so much better than now. I might even find some smiles!
Hope you do find some smiles. Here's one for you ... :)
Hi Jerry and Lynn I know what you are going thru Lynn broken ribs hurt a lot I have experienced it twice in my life but when we are older it seems to take longer to get well also I am glad you feel better Jerry.
Thank you for the beautiful tour..I like how all houses have a front gate before you reach the front entrance...and remember European houses are like that, it took me years to get used to entering directly into your living place...
Back there all houses have that .
Hi Jerry and Lynn:
I’m so happy to see that you’re on the mend Lynn...!
I really enjoyed this video Jerry.
Since I was a kid I’ve always enjoyed exploring new
places and things.
It would be nice to see more videos like this one.
Both of you take care.
Have a great day and be blessed.
I am enjoying your tours! Your camera skills are just fine with me. Please keep showing us around.
VERY MUCH enjoyed that tour, just the other day I was looking at the map of your city and thought I'd like to see that Hotel, well, then you went there LOL, Your hand job camera shots wasn't bad at all !
Super! Please take us through lots of neighborhoods.
Thanks for showing the neighborhoods around Ajijic, I like how calm you sound on your videos
I like the video tours so please keep doing them.
I enjoy them too.

It J.C. as your guide people like. He's such a good natured man. Nice looking and nice voice too. Wish he could be my co-pilot on trips. Tomorrow I'm doing a road trip down to McCall and Cascade lake because Kamper Clown Corney said there are lots of empties at the boondocking side . 6 hr.s Google says so will take me 8. All back roads is why there not Flathead. It's in Montana and the road construction is very bad there. The mountain lakes are better than the s.Idaho sludge ponds but they have much better access for us Podunks. Sandy bottom too. Hope their cold. Warmish water bacterial growth is harming more people now because of g.warming.
Each house is a piece of art. at least. Unique!
I'm glad she is better. I'm glad you are better.
This was a fabulous tour. I loved it. First, glad to see Lynn doing much better and in good spirits. And hope you are feeling much better as well. Finally !!!! Some real wide streets with real houses and real grass. I guess you can tell I come from the poorer side of town. I've traveled to various parts of Mexico over several decades and the only thing I've seen is very narrow streets, houses all built together, made of concrete, no grass anywhere, and if there was a tree somewhere it was really scrawny, except maybe in an older park. And I'm talking from Northern Mexico to Central to Oaxaca and surrounding areas. And yes, the hotel is really pretty. I love this idea of you driving around. This is the best way to show us around and we get your narration about the place. Love this.
Thank you for your great videos and great information it is much appreciated I am ready to retire and your videos are exactly what I was looking for as far as viewing locations thank you so much blessings to you and your beautiful wife
Jerry, you’re becoming quite the vlogger! Keep up the good work!
Beautiful home
Landscaping is absolutely wonderful!
Just came across this video. Love the video tours ☺
I love driving around and looking at neighborhoods. Enjoying your drive arounds. And I’m glad you’re feeling better.
Keep the neighborhood videos coming please, I have finally gotten my husband to consider retiring to mexico in the next few years. Your videos have been a great help in convincing him.
Great video, I enjoy seeing the area and how people live
Hey Jerry. Another great video. I love hearing you talk, but these car tours are valuable. Lynn seems so sweet. I’m moving Lakeside next month and hope to meet you one day. Thx
Take care of your little sweetie pie, so sweet.
Beautifully done JC.
Is nice to see Linn feeling better, she looks great nice smile on her face.
Im glad you are feeling better .
Thanks for showing us around very nice.
I love how polite you are,by saying hello to the people at the hotel, and pepe the pool guy.
Thank you for the wonderful tour of mexico. Looking foward for the next vidio. 👍
Lol funny the story about the tree.
Nice video JC , reminded me of a tour we took with a British fellow while we were there last year.
My boyfriend enjoyed watching your tour with me today. I REALLY enjoy the tours. So relaxing and I love the back stories. ( The tree one is one I could hear over and over. I have actually told it to my friends.) I really enjoyed seeing your old neighborhood and the house that inspired you to put the tower in your house. I love your interactions with birds. I find them fascinating. Those grackles were super fancy. I wonder what kind of bug was in that tree? We have a family a vultures that have a secret hideout near my house. Thank you so much and really glad you're feeling better.
I should have mentioned this first, I am so glad to see Lynn is doing better. I know that injury takes quite awhile to completely heal. I have followed your travels and life's journey for a while and I alway enjoy your interesting videos. My husband and I recently moved to FL from PA and are finding out it is as expensive as living in PA. I wanted to consider Mexico; but, because of all of the bad press; my husband said, "No way." I tried to get him to watch your videos; but, he wasn't interested. Keep the great videos coming. The Tour of La Floresta was really interesting. Neat things you pointed out with architecture.
💯👍That was awesome. Thanks for taking us along.
Hello, hopefully see you in January!
Very nice place
great vid glad to see your wife doing better. She has a really nice smile.
You are very fortunate amigo, you live in a very nice neighborhood.
Hmmm, this La Floresta looks good. Will share the video....
Nice la Floresta área.
I'm glad Lynn is recuperating. Enjoyed the tour! Regarding the house at 9:00 that has the tall, thin windows: the columns between look like candles with the tilework flames at the top. There are smaller candles between the big flames too. It could be a ring-shaped candelabra or even a birthday cake! Anyway, it is cool.
Lovely windows
Really enjoyed this!
Glad your wife is feeling better!
Thank you. Thank you.
Great tour, Jerry, enjoyed that. Makes me want to hop on the bike and ride down to have a look in person.
Sure hope Lynn gets off the meds soon.
Que Dios los bendiga.
1st time watching you. (As I'm planning to move to ajijic as soon as the virus permits). Just want to say I absolutely relate to so much if not everything you say. I find you very entertaining smart interesting funny and I think your wife is adorable as well.
Very nice idea and informative video of your touring the villages and towns. I would love to see one made on the marina and boating in the area, especially sailing and sailing boats. I was thinking of setting up an Australian BioTech HQ in Mexico. your effort gives me a nice sense of what to expect domestically.
Also, in Yucatan-Mexico that is possible, if you come take me into account that I really like those ventures
lol ! motor home story .. shades of arlo guthrie and alices restaurant ! great story xoxo
Sometimes those great big houses & gates are lonely to live in. Love the tree's & grass & flowers. Some of the happiest communities live together & support & trust one another.
True. A big house can be lonely. Were you around in the 60's? Communes? Peace and Love. :)
@@JCTravelStories Born in 1960, so I was too young too party. Thank goodness.
Thanks for the drive that is some of the most beautiful scenery. What a gorgeous place to live. Lucky you. Hi sweet Lynn.
Man this is great! Its like riding in the car with you! Too much fun
Way too much fun! Iconic! Do this again in the convertible!!
Gracias por el paseo.
I’m proud of you man. You’re driving a manual shift vehicle! Standards are a dying breed. Thanks for the informative video.
My first was a tractor at age 10. They didn't let me drive the grain truck with a two speed axle you had to double clutch to sync until I was 12. :)
@@JCTravelStories So Funny! I learned on a Tractor as well although I was 13 years old. Helped when it came to driving the manual shift car later on. My kids will only buy manual cars now although choices are becoming more limited. Have a great Saturday....Ours will be rainy.
Keep us updated on her condition. Sending positive energy her way 👐💕🙌
Jerry, muchos gracias.
Lynn has jokes and her warm smile is back. That's great. Enjoy!
Pretty neighborhood
Nice Video thamk you I' want to go there.
Glad to hear Lynn is doing better, she looks beautiful.
Love the way all the trees and poles are painted white.
Keeps the leaf cutter ants from climbing. :)
Jerry, we enjoy your North Lake community tours. We stayed at Hotel de Real Chapala the last time we visited and enjoyed it. We did not, however, visit upper La Floresta. We are coming back this August 2019 to experience the "Green Hills." We may never move permanently from Seattle, but your videos make it harder for us to stay away. Thank you.
If you have not been here during the rainy season, you are in for a wonderful suprise. "Green" does not begin to describe the hills ... Emerald! :)
Bravo! Jc
Thank you for showing us such unique and beautiful things in your community. I really look forward to going there on vacation. Who knows, it could turn into a staycation?
If you go, you will want to stay or return. :)
I viewed this video one minute after you posted! Yep, I was watching for it :) So glad that you are out and about and that your beautiful wife is feeling better. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our ride with you today. We are planning a trip to your area in the near future to research the possibility of moving there or thereabouts. So, naturally your touring videos intrigue me. Your delightful sense of humor, folksy storytelling, and warm-hearted nature makes your videos so endearing and entertaining. Thank you for your time and focus on each video. They are gifts to us. Mucho gracias!
Thank you for the kind words. It is my pleasure, Mary Lou. :)
Thanks for the tour and the stories. My girlfriend and I enjoy retelling them to each other and laughing.
Thanks for the tour
I’m driving down in December. Having a car I look forward to my own exploring drives. Seeing where I will fit and can afford. Staying for a month downtown Ajijic.
From where?
Seattle
thanks again for the ride yet again a very enjoyable to see the neighborhood and you are so right about how everyone can kinda make their home to their own liking so many beautiful homes! I liked the home you were inspired by as well. I wish in the states you could build with out it being such a hassell. Also very glad that you're feeling better and to see your wife too!
Great tour. Bard wire and spikes for privacy ,,,, a little funny
Some home owners are paranoid. Crime does happen and walls don't stop anybody. :)
Love these drive around sessions , its just like we are there. seeing homes ,stores, people with every day living. how to pay bills , dealing with police, Oh by the way If I was wanting to just rent a small clean place for me and my dog with a medium to large yard what would be a ballpark price ? Your tours make me want to move down there. Take care my friend
Thank you for the ride, I really enjoyed.👍
I think the walls make a cozy feel. Outdoor rooms
Exactly. :)
We are happy to hear see Lynn and for her to sing for us would be very painful for at least a few years. Really enjoy the trip to town it would be painful for Lynn to hold camera on cobblestone streets. That house for sale must be for drug lords? Nice video Buzzards included. Mahalo JC for awesome travel Stories of the land in Mexico.
By the way I am full blooded Mexican but have not been there in over 55 years thank you for your videos blessings
Come home Pete. :)
Jerry, Enjoyed your Tour of La Floresta... brought back some memories. What is that new mid rise that is being built in lower La Floresta?
I don't know. First time I saw it. Looks like condos. Wouldn't think it would be a hotel as empty as the Real de Chapala was. Say Hi to Sue. :)
So you've lived in Ajijik for awhile. Gotta love your rudimentary Spanish. Congrats!
I'm happy to learn there are Tree Police in Mexico.
Jerry, I love the video driving around looking at stuff
that's one of my favorite things to do too. Hey if you're going to be doing
more of this how about driving around the racquet club, they have some
properties that are listed in one of the real estate websites that looks pretty
interesting Anne looks pretty interesting for the pools and and all that stuff that's
up there, it really be neat if you could walk around it and videotape it a
little bit it sure would be interesting.
Its on my list of places. Great views up there. :)
YOU ARE AWSOME!!!! HOPE UR WIFE GETS FEELING BETTER!!🙋♀️🌻
Really like the driving tours. Maybe we can do one end of August - Sept ;) this time with my older son as Jon cant come due to football practise. Jon and I walked those streets in La Floresta last year, and I wished I could see over many of those magnificent walls to see the homes inside. We walked past that hotel also, never thinking to go IN, duh. Glad *you* did! Glad Lynn is on the rebound. Diverticulitis eh? No seeds for you!
Swiped from mayoclinic.org: In the past, doctors recommended that people with small pouches (diverticula) in the lining of the colon avoid nuts and foods with small seeds, such as tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries.
It was thought that these tiny food particles could lodge in diverticula and cause inflammation (diverticulitis). But there is no scientific evidence that seeds and nuts cause diverticulitis flares.
Good. You can be my camera man. :)
@@kenthanna Yes, he should not swallow any seeds larger than an avocado seed! ;)
@@JCTravelStories Whoa! Cameraman status?!?! That is a TALL order! I best git me one of them thar fancy cameras like yours and bone up before we come !! :D

He will have u vid him with his cam. He's a big hambone.😜
Thank you so much, IV look at many videos @ your the best, but what are the homes going for in this area please ..... Very impressed thank you much .. 😊
