Thank you. Thank you.
What a great story with a cool sightsee!
Jerry, I just love the sight seeing you do for us and thank you for them.
Loved the guitar background music the slow motion and the map orientation...👍👍👍
Fantastic.
I love the guitar!
Nice chopstick story and I love how you tenderly care for Lynn. You are an amazing man Jerry. Blessings!
We love Lynn! Please put her on longer.
Good day to you and your wife is allways nice to see and listen to you is really good that a person like you and your wife show us art of Mexico and also all around you guys go tanks much.
Your shirt matches the couch I love your stories
Hola Jerry. Muy buen video muy interesante su historia 🇲🇽👋🙏
I heard so many birds 😍
Me encanta escucharte, para adecuar mi oído al idioma.
Espero que estés escuchando mi inglés, no mi español. Jaja
Love your Videos & Listening to your Stories!💕
Good vibes to you and your family brother.
Great vlog! Lets do more!!
Great picture of you both. Your tongue
Mine is in park.
I've been seeing some gorgeous homes in San Antonio. Totally my style. Lol prices are amazing too.
Nice video. Chopstick story was pretty good too! Thanks for sharing, Lo :)
Man Jerry what a great idea, big space for healthcare 😜🤪😀opposite living, great concept
The US delivery information is invaluable, thank you. I love driving around, getting lost, finding new sights and places. So much so that I'm able to give tours to visitors after only a few months of living in a new place. I appreciate your content and have subscribed!
Thanks for subscribing, Sky Watcher. Speaking of sky watching .... a couple of weeks ago I saw the line of Space X Sats going over here in Arizona. Freaked us out, until we learned what it was. :)
Jc I love you!
Yes JC whatever else, am hoping to shake your hand some time in the near future.
Every city has a more rural part to it. Nice choice of words. Ty for the drive I love seeing how colorful they are in Mexico. I'll never forget my first rural drive in a cart pulled by a horse. Very odorous it was...
Thank you for noticing my choice of words. Respectful, Yes? :)
Mine will be the 123rd comment, so most all has been said by now. Glad to see the great smiling photo of you and Lynn. Nice to hear you liked Mario's'. It's one we visit regularly. There is a good tacito place on the corner across from the plaza as you head toward Mario's that is also great. it opens later in the day and stays open even later.
Let me know when you headed for lunch. :)
Lynn...👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏼👍🏼. ☮️💜😺
Lovely start to the day. Nice to see a neighborhood that is not under water.
Glad to see Lynn out and about.
Hope that doesn't mean you're flooded. Stay dry. :)
@@JCTravelStories the house is still dry but the yard's a swamp. The city park is 4foot under and Okmulgee creek is still rising with more storms due tonight thru all next week. Just wait and see I reckon.
The more I watch the more I like you! Someday; if I ever get an extended time off and get to spend it in that area; I hope to meet you and buy you your favorite beverage. You just seem like a hoot to spend time with.
I'll look forward to it. :)
Hi Lynn
Ocotlan and Jamay are right there!!! that's where I have family.
I love that you just went up to that local they had a little chat while he clean this fish
Starting out with coffee in your video? :) Its going to be another great video with JC Travel Stories!
LOVE the maps. That is awesome addition. Thanks.
I make pho soup every other week!!
If I lived close to Calvin, I would offer to get in on the fork joke and plant forks everywhere for him to find.
I like it. LOL! :)
Great tour again! We would never see this without you JC!
Congratulations on your first product review !!! Wooo Hoooo. You are getting popular :)
Hi mi amigo I am a new follower
Welcome Edgar! :)
Enjoyed every bit of the tour.
Map worked out just fine. Great combo.
The visual of trying to picture you standing at the ironing board...iron in one hand...wrinkled open map in the other; it paints a rather humorous image. I can only imagine what your housekeeper (or groundskeeper) must have thought watching the gringo trying to iron paper. lol They probably think white people are nuts! : D
White people are nuts! Here's an ironing tip for you. You can iron US dollars to make them crisp if you've had them wadded up in your pocket, or fall in the pool and get your money clip wet. Yes, I know this for sure, but don't try it with Mexican pesos. They're plastic. :)
I'm glad that you are showing us some of the local areas, thanks for taking the time and gas do this.
Tlayacapan. That truly is hard to pronounce. My tongue would be in traction if I tried to say Tlayacapan backwards. 🤣 The guitar music is very relaxing. Awesome video as always. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The "tl" in aztec words is easy just say tleh example Xiuhcoatl is pronounced "shoe-co-a-tleh". Tlayacapan is pronounced "Tla-yah-kah-pahn" not like pan. More like pawn but more of a Ah sound. In Spanish the A is more of an Ah or Aw sound not A-e sound.
Your Spanish is so bad it is good
Saludos nice videos and guitars. Easy going live.
Love the map!!! Don't get me wrong I love my GPS/Google maps, but there is noting like a good old fashion map when you have no service. 😉 Love your videos we retired in Spain from the US but may have to rethink our plans just to be closer to family. Spain is beautiful and affordable!!!!
I loved Spain. Spent some time in Malaga, Grenada, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville. Ronda! Have you been to Ronda? Oldest bull ring. Restaurant patio hangs over a 1500 ft deep barranca.
@@JCTravelStories Haven't been to Ronda yet, but it's on the list. Hubby had some medical issues so relaxing for a while. We live just east of Malaga. Fell in love with Nerja back in 2012 that was the deciding factor to retire here 2 years ago. Ran across your channel while following the young couple Kinetic Kennon travel Mexico. Enjoy your videos, looking forward to What's on your mind! 😊
Thanks for the ride! And thanks for showing the MAP. That was very helpful.
Love your stories/driving around/touring with you in your car! I was watching another channel and the person went around a corner that had a beautiful mural on a wall. There was some sort of description under it but they didn't keep camera on it long enough for us to read it! At least to pause it so we could decipher what the mural was about. Just a suggestion to you when you come across "works of art", please focus on description, label, etc. Thank you so much and stay healthy so can continue your mission! Sending energies!
Thanks for the suggestion, Chayo. :)
you got it, man!!! keep it up, good job now I know that there is plenty of lake front to build up on
Nice to see Lynn doing good. Awesome ambient tunes playing in the background during your trip which them unique colorful scenic houses were nice to view. Don't step in that content getting out of vehicle friends after eating that fish head stew.made fresh! Mahalo for the great views nobody could make travel stories like you. Send Kalvan a slightly bent fork back yeah?

Awesome again! Chopstick story was hilarious!
The colors of your home and the space you have makes me feel calm and spacious. And, your shirt matches! Glad she is feeling better.
🤣Grew up in Cali(California, USA), my neighbors were Irish, Scandinavian, MexAmerican, MexNational, Vietnamese, Japanese, Italian-Jewish, Euro-Americans... LMAO, the jokes and pokes were never ending, An "All-American" time was had by all. 🙏
Great job. Keep the tours coming, take care. Peace brother
Geeee I love your stories. Never enough
Really interested in the Ishop information. Gracias por todo!
Do you visit your dad's house? Can I get an inside tour? Send me an email. jc.travel.stories@gmail.com :)
Another fun tour- thanks! I'm sorry map version 1 was such a hassle. Sent you a link to short video I made on how to add computer-based maps quickly and easily. Hope it's helpful! :)
Yes, I've practiced with google maps now ... easy peasy. :)
@@JCTravelStories Yay! You can always point the camera at the screen, but I think you'll find the things you can do with the screen recorder are very cool, and easy too. :)
'migo Jc, so glad to see Lynn is feeling better and you've got you spirits back 👍🏻👍🏻
That music was enchanting and I loved the map! But your chop stick story.......meh, I bet Calvin would tell it better. 😜🤣😂
Love the color of your living/family room walls! I want to do shades of lavender in my bedroom.
Lol to Kelvin. Grrat video and a lol story. Lynn is looking good. I enjoy your videos
You are a good story taller. I enjoyed what was on your mind today. Keep the stories and the travel around the area coming. I look forward to them. Muchas gracias. Say hi to your sweet wife. Thanks again.
Hi Jerry! I really enjoyed this. And again you always make me laugh. Love it 😂💕
Good morning, JC. Great video with beautiful guitar music! Good to see you and Lynn back on the road:). Looking forward to seeing your review on the car camera and the windshield suction cups..:)).
Muy buena su historia de los palillos chinos y el tenedor ! 👏👏👏
Hi Guys that was fun and we have the best a "Chaperone " how awesome is that........ that means The Lady of the house is feeling better..... thanks for ride along beautiful places... and yes I do love to here the Birds....... thanks again
Thanks for the great video and funny family story. The tours you give is more deplictive of life in Mexico and shows a part of reality we couldn't get with you sitting in your living room telling us the story. I too have lived in several other countries, and unless you get out and learn their language, and customs you are just a tourist. Keep up the good work!
Great story about Calvin. I'm glad you showed the map because I always thought Ajijic was on the east end of the lake. I guess it is Spanish/Mediterranean tradition to wall off the houses. Makes you want to climb up and peek at them because I know some of them are really beautifull. I know, a drone! You don't see that here and walls can only be about six feet or less only done in the backs of houses. Maybe five feet?
You looked like a little kid when you got the package and trying to open it. Great to see Lynn outwith you. Means she is doing better.
As always great video Jerry.
Great chopstick story. It made me laugh out loud. Love these car tours you do. It really gives us a more complete picture of the way people live in Mexico. Applied for our passports last week. Looking forward to coming to Mexico this winter!!!
Enjoying these local travels and family stories, as always. Getting off the main streets is fun! The map is also a definite thumbs up!
Yes I noticed and they look great! I still have 7 more years until retirement but I hope I will get to meet you and your wife and Ajijic.
Dios mio - you left me laughing out loud. You are such a great story-teller. I love your stories. So good to see Lynn feeling better. Thanks for the tour. I love the tours, and I love that they are the "real" tour, not just some fancy part. It's the real Mexico, and that's fine. Had to laugh at the postal store not being open yet. You know that no one gets in a hurry to open, lol. Thanks for the great and fun tour. Yes, please do just keep driving around. There really is no end to all the places you can take us. Maybe one day you and Lynn will go stay in Guadalajara for a day or two - hint hint, ;-)) But really, anywhere is fine. I love your driving around ordinary places.
Thank you Mr.J C !
Very informative & humorous video! The adventures are great! I never been to that side of Jalisco. I will go there some day with my family.
Thank you very much for sharing. 🤓
Heck, narratives before the tour, street map tracings to get the lay of the land, voice-overs for much of the tour commentary and even product unboxings with reviews to follow? You are getting dangerously close to mainstream and professional in this channel! :-) It was nice to see your co-pilot in life was there with you in the car, still smiling while recovering from her cracked rib. It is clear she is not always fond of the attention as she often tries to shoo you away whenever the camera points in her direction, but still wonderful to see her whenever she puts in an appearance. Really enjoyed the chopstick story. You should insist that your son-in-law take you out for some tasty Korean bulgogi the next time you are visiting family in the U.S. That is very thinly sliced rib-eye or sirloin broiled with a very tasty Korean style barbecue marinade/sauce. I am not really fond of other Korean foods but bulgogi is the bomb and most forms of kimchi are pretty darn good too. I can hardly wait until you get the bracket with double suction cups, just to see if it will really hold and thus prove reliable. I must say that you always seem to keep your channel interesting.
My son in law ... a now my daughter also, are very good Korean cooks. That meat, lettuce wraps, kimchi soup ... its a wonderful feast when we visit their home. :)
The age old question , do you find yourself daydreaming when remembering the past , wishing you could do it all again ?,.... l love your tales Jerry of passed memories , enjoyed todays tour along with your good looking hostess ? love to Lynn , ..... catch you later . Trev.
Actually, no I do not daydream about doing it all again. I daydream about doing something new and different. :)
@@JCTravelStories l love daydreaming Jerry simply because I'm once again with Dot and yes we do it all again , that's what memories are all about , helps me through the bad times , and like you I share the fun time's with story's of our many adventures together ,..... as soon as I'm well enough I'm looking forward to watching the sun rise and set in Australia , New Zealand , and Japan but not all at the same time , lol , I would love to have a lady friend to be part of my life's story , whatever makes you happy Jerry , look after yourself and Lynn ...... Trev.
Thanks for the tour. Showing the map was great. It gives a good idea to the location of the tour. I am looking forward to your videos. Thanks again. Judy, Las Vegas.
Jerry thank you so much for doing these tours! As a child my father would take us kids in the car and go exploring. At the time I couldn't stand going, now I have such fond memories. There was always something interesting to see, some hidden gem, or a place that needed to be fixed up but had "possibilities". I am retirement age and love to drive around and explore neighborhoods, so this is fantastic that you are doing this. I can't wait to find out where we are going next and what interesting places we may see!!
Before I bought my home here, the riding around was always what you mention .... seeing the possibilities in a not so perfect property. :)
Great idea about the maps, was just thinking that same thing when you said "a viewer..." lol (don't forget you could also just show the area on Google maps). Another video idea; I was looking around the Lake Chapala area at the many towns/cities all the way around the lake, if and when you can, you & Lynn could tour around and show us all just a little bit about each town. I realize it's not a small lake (I live in a city on Lake Simcoe in Ontario Canada, so I understand the size.) but that should give you lots to do!! Really enjoy your "down to earth", not "hyped up" videos. You have inspired me to want to make a trip in the future to the Lake Chapala area. Thank you. Maybe consider Affiliate links (think that's what they are called) for the items you use and review. Could help pay for the gas!!
I am an Amazon Affiliate and have several links in the description of my videos. Last month I made $16 USD !!! Need more clicks there. :)
Oops! Sorry Jerry, apparently I need to read the description, not just watch the video! I'll check out the links, Thanks
Hate to keep bugging you, but while in Ajijic I was so impressed with the quality of Mexican craftsmanship; the masons, the painters, the people working in wrought iron, etc, etc. Might it be worth a video in homage to the people in the trades in Mexico? I think people in the US who are used to sloppy, semiskilled work might be interested to see “old world craftsmanship” in the new world
Good idea, James. Hopefully, they notice some of that in my own house when I'm sitting on the couch. A tour of a welding shop where they custom make doors, windows, stair cases, etc would be interesting. :)
I keep a text file of video suggestions I like. You're on the list! Its getting to be a long list. I'll be busy for years. :)
Good morning . Mr. J C wonderful day god bless you guys.
Another fine story from JC . Thank you for the tour.Love mexico been there several times. 👍
Hola Jerry and Lynn, I really like the photo of you two, superimposed on this weeks video. Great smiles! The plaza in San Antonio is very tranquil usually during the day. It is spotlessly kept, and very family oriented. I enjoyed the ride and look forward to see if the new camera mount defeats the cobblestones when it arrives.
Thanks for the tour! Can't wait to get back.
Love to see the tour video's and the map was a bonus.Congrats of the sponsorship goodies. I wonder if Calvin could eat soup with one chop stick? It's gotta be quite a feat using two!
Good video, when I see your videos you make me feel good and you transport me to Mexico
Ok Jerry, I think I can help you say Tlayacapan without your tongue getting all twisted. You know how to say Maya, right? Now say Tlaya the same way. Tlaya. Now, the second part. You know how to pronounce Cap´n Crunch, like the cereal. Now put those two together and say Tlaya-Cap´n. There you go, TlayaCap´n! I love the houses in upper San Antonio de Tlayacapan! Great video.
My caption read clock upon! Close!
Thanks! At least I spelled it right. :)
Got my JC "fix" for today! Thank you! I echo other comments regarding the beautiful guitar music. I also enjoyed getting perspective on your local geography with the map you featured. You never disappoint. Your chopstick/fork story is a keeper. I love going for rides with you and Lynn. I strain to see every detail, since we are researching that area for a possible move from California. Many blessings!
Thanks for showing us the map.
Glad to see Lynn feels much better.
Nice to see the girls helping their father to scale the fish.
1:27 Good car parking skills btw, LOL 😁
Great Intro, congratulations on the product endorsements. I like to see where the regular people live. If i move to Mexico, I will probably be living within the community. Look at that ceiling! Very cool. Had to stop the video and take another look. I like those old walled places. Great story, and the map works. Thanks.
JC, you are just awesome! Love your videos! Please keep them coming.
Thanks for the video Senior , I know this question doesn't match with video . Here we go !I love all your videos on you and your wife's BUEATIFUL HOME. . I don't know if you ever mentioned it , but do you know the history of it ,age and previous owners. Maybe you don't want to mention names though 😉 Anyways Bueatiful Home for Bueatiful People .
I bought two houses and built the tall part between them to join the properties. The first house was 7 years old in 2004 and was used as a weekend retreat by people from Guadalajara. The second and smaller house was the first little cabin built in this part of the north shore by Jose Castenello ... who owned about 1/2 of what is now Ajijic. When I bought the property his cow brand and intitials .... JC..... were painted on the old tenaco.
@@JCTravelStories Thanks , your Hacienda is Awesome !
Senor
Interesting video as always! I love all the blooming growth hanging on the walls, so beautiful!! Thanks for the tour, and congratulations on the awesome arrival & unboxing of your first future review package.
Really loving these tours, and I love the birds too! Keep these wonderful trips coming Jerry. So wonderful! Thanks again friend.
Nice tour. Love thr map.
Thank you for showing the map - it certainly helped to get an idea where you were driving - and as I read in some of the other comments I'm not the only one who likes this new feature ;c)
Watch those suction cup things when you're changing altitude,,,,, you'll just be driving along and pop off the windshield so make sure you camera doesn't have a terrible fall like Humpty Dumpty
Thanks for that advice. :)
So nice to hear from you again. Hope your feeling better and always enjoy your videos. Cheers dude🍻 Stay Blessed😄
Pronounced "tuh lie uh cup on"... easy 😊
Loved the map...gave me some orientation. Can't wait for more "driving around" videos. Glad Lynn's feeling better!
