Joined the Holy Stone Facebook Group for HS700D. Get answers and info quick. Finding out many people just are preflight prepared (All batteries not fully charged) and using an older phone with unsupported operating system. Thanks again.

Just bought this drone and I've watched a lot of video's but I've noticed some people collaborate it differently they pick up the drone and turn there body 360° three times , .. so I'm a little confused , also the Ophelia app on my phone is not pulling up any maps just a blank map screen ? Any ideas

You suggest doing the calibration every time before you fly... Are you saying that if you have done the calibration, fly the drone, land it and turn it off.... 30 minutes pass....and you want to take off again....Drone would need to be re-calibrated before flying from exact same location...?? .... "every time before you fly."...? I have this one on order from Amazon.. want to do it right... Thanks
Hey man I have this drone and it says it is not connected to enough satellites. I can get if offbthe ground then I lose certain amounts of my drone control on the left throttle. How would you increase your satellite connection?

Thanks for the excellent video. I have my HS700 up and flying. However, I am having problems with my video. Still pictures come up nice both on my camera and on my laptop through the SD card. The problem I have is that I cannot get the video files to work. They show as PART.file and will not play. My phone shows the first frame of the video, but will not play. Any suggestions? Appreciate any help.
Hmmmmm is it showing as a part file on your laptop after you transfer the files from the SD card? Make sure your SD CARD Is 32G or less. Anything over 32 will not work. Also the card had to be formatted in FAT32. If the card says XFAT it will also not work properly. Let me know. You have me curious v

I'm a little confused about the order that you say the Gyro and Compass calibrations should be done. In the instruction manual they have those two processes listed in the opposite order that you showed. Is it really important which order you perform those two processes?
Not important at all... They are both totally separate. Gyro is the motor control. Compass is the magnetic balance for proper flight direction. Either way works.
@@TommyGunsDunleavy Compared to my previous drove which was an Aero View DRC-446 this one takes spectacular photos. That one took the worst photos and video that I have ever seen. Of course I only paid $60 for it on a Black Friday sale but still. YUK!

Turn on drone , then hold down the red unlock button on the controller then slide the power switch to on with red button pushed down , this re-pairs the controller to the drone

Saying connected but surely that symbol means no. My De25 no symbol and WiFi is saved. Now for some reason camera footage all upside down. Please help me mate

Tommy, new subscriber, new to drones. 700D. has been giving me troubles. I just saw your film, calibrating this evening 7/20. I notice that you seem to be calibrating the gyro, at a different point in set up. as manual instructions on page 18. I have worked with this new drone for weeks. and will tell you that more times terrible flights then good flights. This drone has had a mind of its own. it can become unresponsive to controls, (sometimes movement opposite of controls.) at most anytime in flight. Tonight was the worst, it just completely got away from me, hovering or heading towards me (controlled) and suddenly, full speed backward, slammed onto a tree then raced across the field and crashed into my car. Would this be caused by incorrectly setting gyro? Is there a way you can PM me or text me, I would like to discuss this more, Did not mention, this is a replacement drone, because the first one would do the same type of thing, PS, tonight when the drone landed upside down in the grass, props stopped, I walked over to it and picked it up. Guess what props geared up to full speed, and I have band-aids on my hands, (no I did not react fast enough to pull left controller down to kill props, the controller was not with me as i walked to pick up the downed drone. You seem to be straight forward, would like to talk with you. Ive accidentally pressed geomagnetism calibration on the app and now my drone is blinking 4 green lights. I cant calibrate it. Its not regular calibration. Do you know how to fix that?

I never did try it without an SD card so I'm not sure if that matters

Absolutely. Especially if it's your first drone and you don't have $400. This drone is a great deal. Flies great and handling is easy.

I have this drone and seems to work ok until it is 30 to 40 away and then loses all connection with the controller. Any suggestions? Thanks
