It now has a better 4k camera, Electronic Image Stabilization and a few more additional perks like a power on off switch!!
It has the same 2204 1500kv brushless motors for smooth power and now the geofencing on phase 1 of low voltage has been decreased from the previous 300meter distance to 100meter on paper and the altitude has been reduced to 30meters from 100meters which makes it a lot safer than before to allow a safer return to home.
The camera is 2k resolution, remote tilt adjustable and anti jello mounted for better jello free video results and 5G wifi FPV video transmission for live video feed. A micro SD card DVR is included to capture higher quality photos and videos.

Arrived in mail a week ago but haven't flew it yet. Watched this video about 100 times and am going to take it out tomorrow if not windy or raining. Have been flying my used HS720 and found out today that the arm had been broken and glued together after it took off and hit the house. Am going to sell it and get my money back as for parts then buy an HS720E that should be a good compliment to the HS700D.

I had fun flying it today . It was awesome. I am in Colorado and we had snow on the ground and was windy so it was not as smooth as I expected but if you pick a good day with no wind you will have a blast . Camera took such good pictures It was easy taking pictures with my cell phone and the drone . I love it and highly recommend it .
the hs 700d is my first dron and love it was little hard too get setup but love it

I have a bunch of drones including an HS700D This is one of the best and most reliable so far. Very nice drone and great review as usual.
How does it compare to a DJI of similar specs?
Personally don’t have a dji but this video doesn’t do justice until you control it, it’s very smooth responsive but easy t control with confidence

Would you recommend this drone for use with a GoPro hero 8? I'm trying to find a drone with a good payload so I can mount mine on.
I have a bugs 3 no GPS but hold my go pro no problem cost less than 100 on amazon its force 1. Of course does not compare to a gps one or mavic mini

How do you make the camera tilt from the controller? I've been landing it and adjusting the tilt manually. I didn't realize you could do it with the remote... Have a photo of the specific button or knob by any chance?

So for my first try I didn't lose a finger but I definitely cut it. Safety tip #1 - If you land your drone but the wind picks up and tries to turn it over, don't try to grab it. The propellers are super sharp whilst spinning. They will let you have it for sure.

I'm new to flying. I got my first Scharkspark Thunder FQ35 a month ago. I've ordered like 5 of those for $35 each. Nice little drones to teach the kids and not worry about crashing. I got a Vivitar Aeroview after that. Nothing, but problems with that. I finally sat and watched reviews. I'm ready for some of the more advanced features. I ended up getting one of these and I’m having fun with it. In a low noise area I got around 600meters before video breakup, it really surprised me. When I yawed around it froze up and I did return to home. This is a low wind 💨 flyer but great fun👍🏻

I pressed the lock after calibration before you did and it was flying up on it’s own I this thing almost lifted me up in the air with it 😂😂😂 I didn’t kno wat was happening

To me, waypoints are nothing more than a gimmick and perhaps others feel the same way. What is important is the return to home features.
I'm going out to a unique Canyon and Ocotillo and I wanted to plug the waypoints through the canyon so we can film our jeep Club through without using the follow me feature.

whoa! I think that may be too ambitious for this drone. But it may work. Now, keep in mind in the waypoints, the camera will point itself towards the next point and may not keep you within the shot.

Hello. I bought this device from a friend of mine, but I have a question. How can I turn the camera up and down while flying? From remote or app? Please help to me..
Exact same remote, App, and functions as the Potensic D60. The Potensic has better landing pads. The Holey Stone has better Camera. It sure needed the auto shut off if it sits to long before flight. Without it the Drone gets Hot enough to melt plastic.

Yes it does rely on GPS. There's no specifics of the GPS module.

I bought one for myself , it was my Christmas gift ofcourse 😊 I live in Colorado and go hiking up in the mountains with my dog and it's usually 10 thousand ft above. I was wondering does it matter that I will be flying it in higher elevations? For the first time I will be practicing it in flat open land , once I get the hang of it I will take it up in the mountains.
There is less air for the props to grab at 10000 ft. But it still should do just fine. Great drone.
I understand this is a cheap drone but here is my take on it ( I own one). The camera is terrible, the fpv footage that is streamed to your phone is better. A lot of people don't realize this but the actual wifi comes from the camera its self. Now since the drone is wifi, the range is terrible for fpv. The range fore the actual drone is decent, I cant test that out fully because you lose fpv footage so soon. The actual drone itself is good for the price, it wanders a little bit but overall its decent. One thing that is ridiculous is the transmitter, the two antennas are fake! I opened mine up to verify this and can confirm. There is a small wire antenna inside that is hot glued. The transmitter also has two weights inside, this could be done to balance a phone, not just to add weight as they are at the bottom. Last is the charging system, I like the charging hub its self but since it only uses 5v usb it takes forever to charge, it would of been nice if they used quick charge usb specs. Maybe these things won't bother most people but once you fly a good drone like a mavic mini or any other name brand drone you really start to see where this one falls short. I'm not a hater just think these are things people should know since nobody ever seems to mention them. Save up a little more and pick up a Mavic Mini, you wont be disappointed. Great video to the guy who made this btw, well explained.

Don't forget little dji's big brother (Yes thee big brother) gets to tell you (your dji drone) where and when you can even fly. I'll pass on a drone controlling me lol. This is far more reliable as far as taking it where you want to fly. As for the price it's a third of a dji, someone who is going to want this drone is diy guy who can mod their own camera configuration. This drone, the Potensic d85, Mjx bugs3pro, jjrc/jjpro x5 Epik all offer similar performance and possibilities except for the b3pro or d85 which will require 8038 props to carry weight. Keep them dji's over there in the gated community where they belong.😆

I just got this for Christmas my first drone. And this video is very informative and answered all my questions I had after flying it yesterday. I'm glad I got the 700D over the 700 too. I do need to check out my camera footage to see how it looks. But from what I see and hear it's good quality. Which is great since I'm hoping to find some uses for this to make some extra cash. I also make short films. Scifi/horror type stuff. I'm about to take her out and run The field out back. I definitely wanna try the follow me function. Only issue is What If I'm out of Data on my cellular phone and Too far from my homes Wifi signal which will happen If I'm anywhere else. Interesting.

Can you help - So it doesn’t seem to function completely in the air. At first take off, handling is just fine. But then it will not go forward or turn around. Only backwards and return to home. Any ideas?
Let me rephrase - Would the gyro not being calibrated cause it to not function properly with the joysticks? It was sunny and I could not tell if it had finished its calibration. It did not want to go forward or rotate when it got a little bit away from me. I could hit home and then it would work for a short time and then stop again. Shortly after that, the battery started to go down and I needed to finish anyway. But I’m just making sure this is user error and there’s nothing wrong with the drone.

The compass calibration has to be done correctly or you will experience what you are describing.
Thanks for the review. I got one of these for Christmas and was able to take it out for the 1st time yesterday. One of the things I couldn't figure out was which control to use to adjust the camera angle? The manual was no help, says to adjust "wheel" left/right during flight. Can someone tell me which control to use to adjust the camera angle?
I think I found it. There is a thumb wheel on the right side of the remote which is hidden pretty well, and that thumb wheel isn't even labeled as a control in the owner's manual.

Yes the calibration has to be done every time. Connect the phone to the wifi network first then open the app.
I just ordered one. Is the ability to control the camera angle via remote included in all HS700Ds? I've seen a few videos that show the camera move while in flight, so I just assumed it to be a feature included in this model. I was reading a Q&A that says it's only movable by hand.

All wifi units have some lag. I wish they toss out the wifi thing but that is what the general public has abundance of so if you want to mod it with an aio vtx it will be a sweet ride.

Quick question - which is the best? HS700D or HS510. Which give the best/most stable footage? I know in the UK the HS700D is around £40 ($55) more expensive.
There are now some with EIS and gimbals so check those out.

Do you think there is anyway around the VERY long time it takes for the batteries to charge...? Perhaps use your balance charger like you did with the Drocon battery...? Seems like someone would find a "mod" to shorten that charge time or different method... :)
There’s always a short cut. These batteries are however made to be safe charging and discharging with low C ratings for longevity.
@@RCEscape Oh... didn't realize that these batteries might be using different technology than say, the batteries that DJI uses in their Phantom series which I don't think take nearly as long to recharge as these for the 700D require....
