Thanks DJ and I remembered that distance, that was awesome. These parks around here are just full of WiFi towers. There always interfering with the drones WiFi.
800 meters?..I think I got one of those Phantom 3 Standard LEMONS with short range. I think you know what I mean, Soul Force*LOL* Short range even with the modded transmitters. I'm adding a 5 Watt Wifi amplifier from my attic to see if that helps just for the hell of it. Donnie is right. Lots of Electromagnetic interference.
Mine only goes 30-140 m with WiFi
Just got this drone big upgrade from the jjrc h68 I had that thing was nothing but a toy this is nice with its altitude hold and many other features haven’t really flown it yet but impressed me for how stable on the wind it was

BIG DRONE FLYER77 R/C yes it is. Bought the white version. That gps is solid. Hover in place like it’s glued there.
Do you need a 5g phone to use this drone??
Quick question - Would the gyro not being calibrated cause it to not function properly with the joysticks? It was sunny and I could not tell if it had finished its calibration. It did not want to go forward or rotate when it got a little bit away from me. I could hit home and then it would work for a short time and then stop again. Shortly after that, the battery started to go down and I needed to finish anyway. But I’m just making sure this is user error and there’s nothing wrong with the drone.
Without seeing it right there it’s hard to say. Check your settings to make sure you don’t have it set to a low range mode like a beginner mode. You know what I mean? You may have the meters set for a short distance by accident. And if the battery gets low you won’t be able to finish flying, It will just return to home and It will not let you fly out very far but 20 meters. Too

After doing hours and hours of research, I've decided on this model and will be getting mine delivered tomorrow (03.25.2020). This will be my first drone.
I know CZcams compresses the video to enhance bandwidth, and some loss occurs. But the drone camera footage looks very pixelated at times. As a photographer, I'm wondering if the video shown in the feed is truly representative of the quality I will get. This drone is a test to see if I can incorporate drone footage into my wedding and realty photography as inexpensively as possible. If not, I'll just write it off and enjoy it for what it is.

First thank you for watching. You still have to remember this is still toy quality camera. Also the 2k camera is to me is like a high 1080p. But in this video I noticed that the video was rendered in 1080p for some reason. CZcams likes to rob the quality of cameras. For steadiness, is depended on wind and hand control on the controller. Well have fun my friend, this will be a go learner. For me a as a photographer, I have the DJI Mavic Air, it’s so portable and the video quality is excellent. Cheers and I am here if any questions.

No, I just use the landing pad to keep dirt or grass from getting in the propellers.

The drone has global positioning system built into it. That means a lock on two satellites to help stabilize the drones position. There are videos on youtube to explain gps drones and headless mode. To much to write on here about it. Thanks for watching

Your phone may not be 5g WiFi , it has to have 811.02 ac WiFi to connect drone and app. You will have to google your phone to see if it’s 5g WiFi.

I was testing this today with my hs700d and couldn’t get it any closer than 3 ft from my original take off point. What do you make of that? Suggestions for how to improve my landing accuracy?
Thanks for watching, actually 3 ft from the take off is not bad at all. You have to remember that this is still toy grade drone and there is no Precision landing. DJ and his other professional drones have have that feature. So I would not worry about 3 ft. Now it was 10 to 20 ft away then it would have something wrong with the compass. BIG DRONE FLYER77 R/C cool. Good to know. Went flying again the other day in a much more open area and it was behaving very well. One other question- what do you recommend for storing these batteries in terms of the proper level for voltage? The charger that comes with it, I think, doesn’t give any exact voltage numbers which makes it tough to know when to stop charging (assuming I don’t plan to fly again right away).
It’s hard to know we’re how to get these batteries at 50% for storage rate. I usually fly the drone until it hits half power and then store the battery. Those proprietary batteries are tricky and that’s the easiest way I can put them in a 50% storage, if I’m not going to fly for a while.
If I put a better camera on it. someone said I will lose phone screen because WiFi is in the 2k camera. And other cameras won't link up to the drone
Yes your getting the first person view from the stock camera on this drone. So if you remove the camera you will not be able to connect to the app and will not be able to see any live video from your mobile device.

Are the videos easy to share to Facebook? I had an Idea le 7 GPS drone which was pretty good, but recently something weird happened in mid flight at 50 meters lost all control and fell straight to concrete destroying it beyond repair. I've been flying different drones for 3 years now. My guess is it just completely lost signal. Never happened before. Battery fully charged and new. Transmitter had full batteries as well.
You can upload the sd card to your pc or I transferred mine to my iPhone with an sd card adapter so I can edit and upload to any social media. You can also upload the WiFi video that records to your drone app. Just not to sure what your asking, I am sorry to hear about your drone. Thanks for watching and stay safe my friend.

How do you get the maps to load?
As long as your phone has service, you should be able to press the map on the bottom left hand corner. Then you can see the map up close and you can switch to satellite view of your area. When you touch the map, the satellite selection will be in the upper right hand of the phone.

I'm getting those MasterAirscrew props for the Mavic 2 and see how they do.

Anyone tried finding propellers for this drone...? Would the props for the DJI Phantom work on this drone...They attach in the same manner.
The props on Amazon are the wrong length (as per the reviews) and the ones on eBay have to ship from CHINA.....!!

Just saw your video 7/20. How in the world did you get great rotating video, no matter how slow I turn, it still looks like video is clicking through turn, also, the up and down position , slightest turn of wheel, "jumps" no smooth flow, I see on some of the video the same "jumpiness" if that's a word. After 5 weeks of flying, becoming somewhat dissatisfied with my 700D, wonder if a faster camera would help. Is you footage all raw with no post editing.
All my videos are raw footage and never edited. I just been flying for drones for 5 years and flown 300 different drones. I guess I learned to make slow moments. You just have to practice slow and smooth yawing. Plus this drone is still just in the toy grade level and has no gimbles to keep the image smooth, so that makes it hard to have stable video.

You need duel band WiFi, 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz WiFi. Any iPhone from iPhone 5s to the latest 12 iPhone has duel band WiFi. Android I’m not sure of, you would have to look up your device.

My map on the app doesn't work when connected to the drone , just comes up blank 😭
Try deleting and reinstall the app, see if that works. Also see if you have your Permissions on allowing that app to access your GPS for your map area.

If I load the app when not connected to the drone ,maps work fine , soon as I connect to drone it stops
I wish I can help further Andy, but usually I just had to give the app permission. I haven’t had it not load up.
TIP: the WiFi is coming from the camera. My first test run I did not connect the camera and assumed I didn’t need it. You must connect the camera or App WiFi does not work.

Thanks for the video! Does this Holy Stone model have the built-in flight restrictions like DJI? This would make a nice photo backup unit.
I'm a 107 flyer, so my piloting authorizations and restrictions come from the FAA, not a drone manufacturer. (MEANING: I am responsible and already obligated to ensure my own actions adhere to ALL the legal requirements - and make 100% effort to do so). No offense to DJI, but most commercial flyers do not need the manufacturer to INTERVENE, where our brains and FAA do that just fine. Excuse the rant, but DJI's restrictions are OFTEN (20%) misplaced and thus cause problems and resulting wasted time and effort. Thanks.

I'm homeless so when I pushed the home feature it landed in the dumpster And a crackhead ran off with it. Can't win for losing. Now the crack dealer owns my drone and he uses it to keep a lookout for cops.😅 Never make the mistake of flying your drone in the ghetto.😮

The problem you have with the camera wifi is your phone needs to be 5G other wise it will disconnect every 10 to 15 sec while your in the air.I use a 5G tablet and i never had a problem again hope this helps Cheers.
Are you commenting to me or responding to another youtubers question ? Maybe you missed the part of my video, if you don’t have 5g you will not see any video feed at all. The drone can not pick up 2.4g WiFi. You can fly with out your phone if you want, but yes my phone is 5g. Every iPhone from iPhone 5s and newer is 5g (802.11ac) WiFi. So my iPhone 7plus is definitely 5g . Thanks so much for watching and I was just letting people see my experiences while operating the drone. Plus also in the city I live in has a lot of 5g towers that interfere with the drones WiFi. Cheers my friend.

I moved my antenna on the outside of the craft. Now i get around 1385 meters. But the camera is garbage. It only got to 300 yard then froze. Lost signal. So i addes a dipole external antenna to the cam Wi-Fi gained another 100 yards .making it a total of 400yrd s.
Waste. Camera cannot keep up with the drone.junk.
I now have installed my on camera and wifi fpv. It makes the whole run.
Camera that comes on this drone from the factory is nothing but a toy drone camera..
