What makes me so mad about the witcher was how great they portrayed geralt, all to sideline him and completely shit on everything else.

You guys should have mentioned how people who wrote for The Witcher show were literally just blaming Henry Cavill because he was so stuck on the books and after the first season he just isolated himself from everyone else, as if he wasn't clearly the only one (outside a few others who at the very least acknowledged that he cared about the books and that he was passionate about it) who gave a shit about the IP and actually tried to make a great adaptation.

Hey, as an old-school CZcamsr, just a recommendation, you should put your news informational things as a podcast and get them on Apple/etc. podcast. It could be a nice revenue stream and you could alternate your advertisers accordingly. The unfortunate aspect of a lot of your promotions is their time based when people come back to videos years later they have no way to support you. Looking for a long tail advertising opportunities should be in play.

Of course devs should be worried about live services these days. Who has time to devote to more than 3 live service games at a time let alone hundreds when each of them are clamouring for your time and money. And speaking of companies knee deep in live service, Ubisoft has basically lost me a customer after what they did with The Crew. Instead, I'll be putting my money towards games I can actually own.
Love the developer of Manor Lords had to come out and temper expectations. Which makes me want to buy it even harder now. An honest game dev.....we must keep him safe.
Either the Jabba mission really is not that big a deal, in which case why are you trying to sell it for so much extra, or it is a big deal and Ubisoft is lieing to our faces. Either way it's not good for Ubisoft and worse for us if it sets a precedent

Everyone loved the 1st season of the Witcher when it more or less stuck to the subject matter. Then much like late Game of THrones these showrunners overestimated their own talent and thought they could do it better and make the world their own. As a result the core audience began to rebel and along with the companies dreams of creating a multishow/movie empire.
Unfortunately, they will learn nothing from this experience and blame their fans for not understanding.

Second witcher season was barely based on the last wish so I wouldn't expect them to finish the book series
The dev of Manor Lords came out and listed the things the game is NOT, so unlike many big studios who overpromise and underdeliver; this dev is trying to set expectations and he states the game is a city builder.
Im at the point of thought where i dont see positives with gaming corps purchasing studios.
It feels more like competition purchasing its competitor just to sabatage it then sell it off or just throw it on ice.

The airplane drones reminds me of the Ace Combat game that came out recently in the past few years, they had the drones skills off the best fighter pilot in the game. Which you later meet and fight in the game
The Hutt mission in outlaws cost more than Helldivers 2 đ
The base game itself costs almost twice the price of Helldivers 2... funny how garbage games are more expensive, yet something that is such a goddamn blast to play and enjoy is no more than $40USD. I even earned enough Super Credits to get access to the "Premium" Warbonds/Battlepasses (Which are permanent and never leave) without spending anything extra.

Manor Lords looks like what Banished was supposed to be. That game is alright in its own right, but it's quite limited and doesn't go anywhere. It never got any updates and I believe was abandoned.

i'm shocked to see Manor Lords so popular! it's on my wishlist since i saw the first demo, but i'm a big fan of the genre. i hope this attention gives motivation and funds to the dev, the game looks great, it's got sooo much potential! i honestly can't wait for the 1.0, but yeah, like you said it is mainly a city builder. i love that they added a total war style combat tho, that's something that i always wanted, as city builders are usually kind of janky when it comes to armies and stuff, i often disable raids completely and focus on making my city very pretty. it's just annoying. fingers crossed! that game will potentially burn a lot of my free time hehe...

Stealth was decently entertaining, it was kinda corny and tropey but the story/plot was engaging and the dogfights were cool. I was also like 14 and man vs machine stories were really cool to me at the time.
