It's got all the notes I made for this video plus links to all the services and books I talk about using. YOU GOT THIS!
A lot of great information... I was curious how pricing works when dealing with a 3rd party warranty company
Yes! Relay Bank, Profit First user here as well! 22:30
You…..are epic. I leave for RVTA tomorrow. Thanks for all that you do.
Also, another tip is to setup an address with PakMail service, so you can use that address for your business. They will also receive all your mail and packages, that way you don’t have packages piling up by the front door.
Really good video, I wish this was released about 2 weeks ago before I went through the learning process of setting up my business. Thank you for all that you do.
I was at the NRVTA in the same time frame you were. Perhaps even the same fundamentals class. I've really enjoyed your videos. You have a knack for explaining the RV systems. It's currently just a side gig for me to help people out. But if my day job falters... I'll ramp it up and be back to dig through this material. Thanks for giving back. If we're ever in Vegas, we'll buy you a coffee, or beverage of your choosing to say thanks.
Thank you Emily! My husband and I are in Texas at the NRVTA taking the advanced RV repair tech course! Thank you for all the helpful information, it is very much appreciated.
Found you 3 months ago watch your video on rv furnace and hot water heater. The next morning went out side fallowing your steps had both units up and running in 30 minutes. Watch others on repairing my appliances didn’t get to far once again thanks
That is awesome!
Appreciate all the info.... fellow Nevadian and should be going to NRVTA in July.... hope to get my company off the ground shortly after that.... keep up the good work🎉🎉
Super great information. Thanks Don
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! Another great video. Thanks for all the information!
You bet!
Great video, I go to nrvta late April. Looking forward to more business videos
Great video Emily. Thanks for the details, they filled in many of the blanks I had with my business start up tasks. I took away something from each topic you spoke about. I’ve gotten a ton of good information from a few fellow NRVTA techs - but - YOU helped fill in some details important to the solo RV repair tech getting a business off the ground. I have a much clearer idea of what to expect this first year. Thanks again. Denise, RV Tech Adventurers
Glad it was helpful!
Very very impressive! Great job!
That’s great information. Sometimes I have the vision, but how to start is one of the hardest things for me.
That’s why I’m out here trying to lay out the road map 😄
RVTI also has an in-person option. I think it was like 4 weeks. Still $600. Same as online.😊
Good to know!
Awesome Video Emily! I do the fundamentals class at the NRVTA starting April 8th, then go back in October for a class. I hope by this time next year I will be a Certified tech.
You got this Sherry!
2nd line on Verizon is only $10/month. Route I went.
Ooo great tip.
Something I've done successfully when going to an RV shop for introductions is instead of saying something like "I'm doing mobile work, do you do mobile work, can I leave a business card?" I would instead say, "I'm doing mobile work and am looking for a shop to send calls to. Do you rebuild slides, can you repair water damage, do you work on chassis, etc?" It switches on the conversation from me to them and by time we're done, they are typically asking for a few cards instead of me asking to leave some there and then i have another shop to send jobs to that I can't do.
I love that idea! Yeah the walking into a place and begging for work felt real uncomfy. But I love the idea of reframing it.
Can I fly you to North Carolina work on my Winnebago?
If you go to RVTAA.org I'm sure you can find a great certified tech in your area.
I started listening to this video and while it definitely has good info, it's MUCH too wordy. MUCH too much blah, blah, blah. I even fast forwarded it and put on the CC and it was still so wordy that I got tired listening to it so had to take a break. I'll watch the rest of the video in segments. I'll be going to NRVTA next year so want to know what Emily has to say but, geesh. Too much blah, blah, blah.
She literally says "This is going to be a long video" in the first 60 seconds! If it isn't for you, click the next button!
@@dcbaker89311st it wasn't so much the length, but the excessive blah blah blah
2nd no need to be condescending and telling me to move on. I'm voicing my valid opinion and advise you to respect my opinion that you don't like.
In other words, keep your condescending criticism to yourself and respect my dislike for excessive wordiness.
Funny how it’s ok for you to criticize Emily, but how dare someone criticize you. And you advise him to respect your opinion….or else what?🤡
LOL🙂🙏
