I took and put meter clamp around black wire and got a 4.9 reading RLA on label showed 10.1. It’s a Coleman Mac 13500 unit. Temp is 83. What do you think I told them bad a/c

Changed hotwater heater. Now every time I touch anywhere on camper it shocks shit out of me. Gladly pay for any advice

Doing a good job with these .. but we need to get the truck AC working. Vegas is too darnn hot

If it is a hot day, and it just stops cooling, it could be that it froze over. If it is a place you can check, then do so, give it a few hours to defrost and make sure there isn't dust on the vents and fan.

I checked the voltage at the Compressor on a Coleman Mac, the RLA on the sticker was 10.1 , I took the meter and she read 4.9. I did all this as you instructed. Would this be the A/C has lost it freon.

New RV owner here. I've had this AC freeze up 2x in the last couple of weeks. First time I believe it was from dirty coils. This time, I'm fairly certain it was from the super cooling you mentioned (I noticed the tape was loose internally allowing air to "super cool") Thank you soooo much for the video, as I now have my AC again 🙏 (Full time RVing also)

Set your voltmeter to ohms.... then test what??? Oh gotcha, go to back of the fridge... what is the ohm range for good or bad??? Am i testing the sheet metal tube??? The heating element??? What a horrible adhd inducing video.😅

Horribly inefficient and weak refrigerators. Get the kit to convert it to a 12V DC pump refrigerator and save a lot of power.

Note: Fridges REMOVE heat from the food storage area, and release the heat to the outside. 😊

I just downloaded your thermostat troubleshooting guide a week ago and already had to use it THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE LEAVING FOR OUR FIRST TRIP! We bought a 2021 FR Aurora 32BDS about two weeks ago. My front A/C (Mach 15) wasn't cooling. I checked on top and found the compressor was not running. I went back down and started working through the guide I downloaded from you. Sure enough, I wasn't getting 12v going to the compressor control circuit. After closer inspection, I found the temp control "slider" and some other components on the board had some corrosion present. I shut the breaker off and got some Contact Cleaner and started spraying it in the temp control "slider", while working it back and forth. After doing this for about a minute, I turned the main breaker back on and the compressor came on. Not feeling comfortable with my "fix", I got on the phone and found one an hour away. I picked it up and replaced it. We just got back from that trip and the A/C worked flawlessly. Thank you for making these guides available and so simple to follow!

The heating element/ or propane flame is basically the driving force to make evaporation condensation happen thus making heat transfer from the inside of the fridge to the outside of the fridge expelling the heat. P.S do not bore the lines cause it contains ammonia. If you do or notice a leak, run like hell or stay in heaven.😅

He BEST thing to do in his case, if you use solar or operate on battery power is rip out the dual fuel guts, and convert to a DC fridge…

Check the capacitor first, then the relay, THEN the compressor. If the compressor is dead, get a new AC

They have capacitors and contractors like other ac units

There also a chance, if you've been running it all day, that it is frozen.

Hi RV Repair Woman. Great video. You promised a table in the description showing resistance values for the 120V heating element. I'm not finding it. Am I looking in the wrong place or something? Thanks! Also I agree with Tonguefreak8292, you should caution people to always unplug the 120 before you try to remove a fuse using any method. Results can be shocking! 🙂

So I have that exact unit...I tested the compressor..math added up....I changed out both the start and run capacitors...the fan runs fine on old capacitor so didn't change that one. When I turn the air conditioner on ...cold...the compressor sounds like it wants to start...makes a little noise...generator labors....then sounds like it resets and follows that pattern ever 45 seconds or so. No visible leaks.....thoughts? Not much left but almost sounds like compressor is stuck somehow.

How do I figure out where to buy a replacement heating element. I have a noricold I believe

I am getting the pilot to light right away, but the igniter keeps clicking. it keeps clicking through its cycle then shuts of, which shuts off the gas. What would cause the igniter to keep click, even if the pilot is lit??
