Love the info. As a full-time Rv'er, I don't have a garage to return to and grab the oil, lubes, sprays, chemicals, etc as needed. What would be your top 5 of these type products? I would love to see a video on this subject. I always try to use things that will work for several different applications. Success to you in this career!!!

I go back and forth between liking dedicated screwdrivers (I had set of Wiha soft handles that I keep in a tool roll) and a multi bit (Milwaukee). About 90% of the time I grab the multibit. I like that I can jam the bits in my drill. And they're replaceable. But I find that if I'm going to work on something that I really care about (like my car or some equipment for my job) then I use the Wiha single size drivers. Partly I just feel the steel on the dedicated drivers is better, and partly I like the feel in my hand of the handle. Although I only have cross points and slotted dedicated drivers. The multi bit has Robertson bits as well as cross points and slots. The Robersons are SO NICE to use on ground buss bars!
In any case, I enjoy your channel. This was a good video. Thank you for posting and sharing your experience with all of us.

Check out Klein 80083 and a Klein 14 in 1. Combine the 2 into one Super Tool. UPDATE- Klein 32303HD combines them now.

You can avoid the bad meter problem by always testing your meter on a known live circuit first. Then test your “dead” circuit, then check that live circuit once more. If the meter reads voltage on the live one then zero on your trouble circuit then voltage on the live circuit again you can trust it.

Nice video. Instead of using crimp connectors have you seen wago connectors? They are simple to use. Just strip the wire push it in and close the clasp. They are great for replacing a broken crimp. Also if you are adding something and need to splice in these are great for that. They can be used to. Connect various number of wires 2, 3, or 5.

Yup! Love wagos, they’re just expensive for the number of repairs that I do.

I’m not going to lie… I hate working on scheintek slides. 😂 they are such a pain in the butt. And I don’t have one on my RV so I need to find someone to let me film on there’s.
But it’s on the list for sure!

Agree with everything except the crimper style. I prefer the Klein style dimple crimper vs. the clamshell style. first thing I look for when diagnosing problems is bad clam shell connection. Often when I go over the clamshell connections with my dimple stlye crimper the problems are solved....

Best ACTIONABLE and useful RV channel on all of youtube! I truly think that is objectively true. Not an Amazon affiliate link in the whole video. Try to find that on other rv channels. Also...I knew you had to have some kind of fitness background. Shoulders lookin 💪! Thanks for being so refreshingly real on CZcams!

That being said..l do think you should put that Klein tool in the description with an affiliate link, just not pushing it in videos.
