When you’re making a comeback from a set back, how do you get over the fact you can’t lift what you previously could. It’s demoralising.

It’s completely normal ! You mentally need to accept it and just know that De-training takes as little as 2 weeks . I literally feel like I can do 70 percent of what i was doing with only 2 weeks off . And you know what it’s actually better to rebuild yourself and not force yourself and risk injury . It only takes about 2 weeks to 2 months tops to be back to where you where depending how long you were gone . STAY CONSISTENT

I been having problems getting sick a lot lately so I know the feeling. But it comes down to confidence. You have to be confident and reassuring to yourself that you know you will get in back. Just need to be patient.

Steve, I have a mobility/pain/golf question. Been following you for about 10 years now. Obviously don't have as much mass as you but I'm also only 5'7, fairly muscular build being at 170LBS. Strength train often. I'm as obsessed with golf just as you and (10 handicap) so was wondering if you have lower back pain whether it be your right or left and if not what are you doing to prevent it? Whether it be mobility and strength combined being the culprit, just curious if you deal with these issues... Any info helps, thanks for all the content through the years.
