If I mixed mine a little dry unknowingly can I just mist the shower pan to wet it?
What about using my concrete mixer? Wouldn't that be easier or does it not mix it up well enough?

keep them coming.... so anyone of these mixed bags will work, theres no better one? I see in all your videos you use the Sakrete 50 lb. Floor Mud Mortar, but home depot is out of stock everywhere in my area, but they have the sand topping mix, are they equally the same or should I look for the sakrete one instead? maybe lowes has it?
You will find it at Lowes. I like it because it bonds better that any other sand topping mix.

Simon why arent you measuring how much water is needed for 50lb ?
It's very hard to mix 50lb in a single bucket and it's not easy to split every mortar bag evenly in 2 buckets.
