Jim likes Mourinho, I think he's being told this by talk Sports management to get ratings it's his job to get ratings. Not journalistic quality. I remember back in Mourinho's second spell at Chelsea he spoke well of him on sky sports news. Murphy is also an ex Fulham fan, 04 to 06 was Chelsea oomph and whilst Murphy wasn't at Fulham then. Will convey the hostility from Fulhams support when Chelseas manger was JM in Chelseas oomph

The selective memory that Jim White is displaying here is absurd and completely self-serving. Mourinho has always been a wind-up merchant, always been a winner and always had an angry side when crossed. Look back at his first spell at Chelsea and the numerous run-ins with Liverpool etc. All that's changed is that it has become more difficult for Mourinho to win, and so the siege mentality has increased, and yet he is still a winner. Jim needs to get past his agenda.

All good until the 3rd season where he will engineer an exit by publicly criticising a player, the club, or someone in the hierarchy. That way he gets paid out and creates headlines. If a team want him, give him a 2 year contract, milk him for his strengths, but show that you understand the nature of the man.

Simon might be getting a bit of amnesia here..
At Real Madrid he completely lost the dressing room at the end, falling out with players like Casillas, Ronaldo and Ramos. He won one league and one Copa del rey in 3 seasons, in his last season they finished third.. despite having the most expensively assembled team in football history.
At Man United there were reports of unrest and unhappy players THROUGHOUT his tenure. The football they played were also quite horrendous and was the worst the club had seen at the time. Yes it got worse since but that doesnt make it less bad.
In his 2nd tenure at Chelsea.. you can't point out the fact that he won the league and not mention that he was sacked the following season with Chelsea(the Champions) 10th in midseason

Teams like Roma,Tottenham, Everton etc is not good for elite managers. Just go for teams that can spend and go for the market. Carlo Ancheloti failed at Napoli and everton, Conte at Tottenham, jose and co.
Without a good budget and an elite team is hard to bring trophies home.
    Thumbs up to Jose👍.
