Bill I’m Glad Billy Said in his video he’s gonna get a HANS device in his Nova! That’s awesome news, he and Tommy both need them in all their cars. It could keep them from getting a serious neck injury. We All Know That Dale Earnhardt probably would still be with us if he’d have let them put one in his car.

They are required at sanctioned events so makes sense to not have your neck snap when something bad happens.
Earnhardt's belts broke and he was wearing an open face helmet. Nothing was gonna save him unfortunately.

It’s a proven fact that Dale Earnhardt would’ve most likely made it Had he had the HANS Device. So I don’t know where are you getting your information but they don’t know what they’re talking about. The 9" was a good decision for the Malibu. I doubt you will break it, but if you decide to take it on a trip you can build a 3rd member with a posi and some street gears like a 3.50 and the install with a floor jack will take a half hour or less.
Just remember,when you build the new shop,put a shelf that wraps all the way around to sit your toys on!

Rest up Old Man, the fun is all about to begin anew. Finally our monsoon season is fully underway, we need some of those downpours you were stealing to fill up our lakes before the Dams stop delivering go juice for our A/C, our only savior from melting away in 120 degree heat out west.
BTW, tell Jeff for me (my pistons still not yet delivered for my Stocker, so short block still not done, and 3 days after the order was finalized for those forged rotators a competitor in Div. 5 goes out and bombed the EF/S record at Brainerd, MN -1.264 under (takes a hit -.20 Index reduction (immediate change), after the event (on June 3rd.), then it appeared they hit him with a HP increase from 94HP up to 107HP in EF/S that equals 25.00 Lbs per HP X 13=325.00 lbs increase.
Ok, I just dieted the car 275 lbs to move it up to the newest lowest same class (used to be in GF/SA, but it and FF/SA no longer exists. So, saving all the parts now, probably can take the MPH portion of it away, as I have old time slips 3 mph, and 4 higher (before wt reduction and improves), but stealing the ET portion of the record would require that all the weight be reinstalled as that would suffer taking a HP increase following the mission.
Cannot understand why anyone would hit it so hard on the lowest class. Self defeating, but he now has a number 1 qualifying car, that he must weigh down heavily (an 83 Aeries Wagon). Good luck to him is all I have to say, just bought me a few more years back of racing time, and I thank him.
Mission was to just set what he did a lot higher, then sell it. But he made it pretty much unobtainable (unobtanium except the mph end without penalty if done craftily), without making my car legally heavy in the weight box again...That transfers weight up in front of the FWD spindles...lol).
So, it just increased my future competition, racing time a few years with a much lighter car than his.

Can't wait for Nova to be back! You should order the white front turn signal lens that the SS only had. The Chevelle SS ran the same white lens too. Had them on my 70 SS Chevelle and 70 SS Nova.

For what it's worth Bill, on our LS3 in our bracket car, we had to use an ICT Billet bracket that bolts to the passenger side of the block, in conjunction with a BBC Low Mount alternator bracket and a little home grown ingenuity to make a Super Mini 16V alternator (GM CS121 style case) work... It was a nightmare but ended up being ok once we got it done. It sits close to the passenger side head.
