- In my quest to stay ahead of the Street Car Game in our camp, I have to continue to get faster or risk getting beat by (gasp) either a Mustang, or a 3rd Gen Camaro driven by Kenny Powers. So, there’s no better way to spend a night at your local track! I crank up the bottle pressure, shorten the ramp, and TURN IT LOOSE!

I love how the malibu has relite the fire for raceing with the old man he seems to be having a blast
Uncle Bucko is hilarious! Love his grouchy demeanor. I love all the street racing you all been doing. Great job Bill!
He sure is a great addition. He makes me laugh so much
🤣🤣🤣🤣I just love Bucko. He has slowly become my favorite character on here. He is hilarious and pure gold. Jeremy buddy,.....you are THE MAN sir.
Kenny and Harley are always there for yous all even with all that goes on. Yous should always be there for him..... get his car back in on the ramp and all of yous muck in and go thru it front to back, sort all these gremlins and problems.. he deserves more seat time and doesn't appear to get it. Itl be done and reliable in no time if you all muck in.
More to earning things than just showing up in a crisis. Harley is there non stop but is Kenny? Or is he hit and mis? Not putting accusations out there just some questions this family always gives back when deserved
We need more Jeramy on the channel he’s funny
he's hilarious
He is funny lol
I agree he is the best thing since the invention of rice crispy treats
Nobody cares adam
@@andrewbooher1106 just like idc about u comment on somebody else’s comment nobody
That's what I'm talking about! Let's go for 2 kits! Good luck in Myrtle Beach!
I’m loving these late night releases on nightshift. Thanks Bill!
Same here
O my!
You have to have the factory plastic air dam below the radiator on 3rd gens or they overheat no matter what.
Yepp. Air hits the face of the radiator then gets pulled straight under the car. 🤙
I went through hell with overheating and it was worse on the highway. Then I realized my cousin took off the plastic scoop at the bottom because it was ate up. Even a beat up one is better than nothing.
I used to keep a good radiator in the back. Pretty much one every 3 months.
In addition to the side panels behind the bumper that keep air going through the radiator, the lower valence is like an air scoop for the cooling system. The electric cooling fans worked good when the duct work out front is in tact and half ass sealed. Without the duct work the fans won't keep it cool. Most people threw that stuff away not realizing it was essential for A/C and engine cooling efficiency.
I had the elcamino ss air damn on my 78.
You and Jeremy crack me up every time lol. I was close saying 11.0 on your Facebook post. Curious to see if the bigger line makes a difference. Glad to here pops is doing good. Good luck to everyone this weekend.
You and your bros are hilarious....and yes the quest for the 10's is near....( SBC )....i think i can i think i can....LOL...😆👍🙏
I love the way you are going to replace part by part to find the actual problem. Be it one part that is causing a single problem or a couple. Great troubleshooting experience.
Like you I really like the idea of two kits/ stages on that car 👍
Glad Uncle Bucko made an appearance good luck this weekend!
I was gonna say hi Wednesday, I was in the red 68 Firebird next to you in the staging lanes, but you looked pretty busy and the lines were moving pretty quick.
Nice looking ride, it caught my eye in the video.
@@brypur8629 Thanks
“Had to resort to illegal practices” lmfao this is the absolute nicest way to say I held a torch to my bottle! 👍🏻🤷🏻♂️🤣
At the end of the day you're just a man, with a family, and a life to live. Man 11:01 so close, I`m sure you will get your 10 very soon. Glad to hear your father is recovering well. Good luck this weekend.
That lift was the best investment y'all ever made to your shop!
I'll probably never have one, but they sure do help it seems
Glad to see your video’s man keeps me happier while I’m out of work on a medical leave thanks keep you the good work Bill
i finally catch an upload! Awesome video ole man! love it.
Good Morning Bill!!! Headed to the Junk Yard for a V8 tomorrow. My S10 Blazer shall soon Fly
Thanks for the videos Bill.I learn something new everyday.I remember the close pens on the fuel line back in the day.
Another great video glad ur all having fun! Honestly Jeremy is a Saint always doing so much for ur parents and working crazy hrs on the racecars I can tell especially you and Billy enjoy having him around helping out!
11sec quarter mile pass in a fully loaded 3800 pound car with a/c power steering and brake's with an overdrive trans that can drive anywhere ain't bad that's faster than most super cars that cost as much as a house ( america ) 🤑
High 11's naturally aspirated... Just wait... 😂
Hey Bill, great video! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the technical things mechanical and the track or Mexico surface and how the cars reaction to changes. I've always been passionate about drag racing and I have learned quite a bit in the last few months of watching your videos, SRC, and Gen2 garage. Thank you!! I have a 71 nova 355 12:1 and now seriously thinking about putting a 150-200 kit hmmm will see if I start feeling better with some health stuff might start a channel myself. I hope uncle Rob is making a speedy recovery and your Dad as well God bless!
Good Luck this weekend guys and stay safe. Thanks for all that you do.
You're doing great and 1 day you'll be in the shop putting a cage and chute on your Malibu LOL
Have a Great Day 👍God Bless you and the Team, especially Mrs.Vicky for that GIGGLES 😀
When you have time have them check the balance on the tires on the suburban. 95% of the time that's what fixes it. If it's in the steering wheel it's usually in the fronts. If you feel it in your butt it's in the back. Congratulations on your street car win. Good luck this weekend.
God Bless the SRC Family for the race this weekend ! and WIN! WIN! WIN !
Love watching your vedios 👍
Have great morning 😁 with your family.
I hear there’s a fuel injected LS coming for you 😂 you really got those young pups worked up.
15:55 now that is my kind of truck uncle bucko! I've had a few of these and they are becoming my fav even over square body chevrolets!
Best of luck this weekend, safe travels to and from the event. 🇺🇸
That car is just gonna get faster and faster , love you guys Mr.Bill. Great content and big shout out from Troy Alabama !!!

@@ACDGarage_Racing You too my friend.
Man…the ole clothes pin trick, this was the racers vapor lock remedy…worked about 50% of the time. Then when you were big time you got a Moroso “cool can” … like a ice bucket with a 6’ coil of copper line in it!
o yes,,,the clothes line clips,,,basically it helps with old school vapor lock,,,helps keep the fuel from boiling in the steel line,,before going to the carb...maybe lol...🤓💯
Fun to see you racing and having fun
Just got my shirt yesterday, so happy to support you guys. Love seeing the Malibu make passes can't wait till it finally gets that 10!
Glad your dear ole dad is doing better. Open heart is not joke its really hard on a guy. My dad went through that too
When Bucko hits you with the "lack of maintenance" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
To do what you, Billy, and Tommy do, record it, edit it, and upload only to answer comments and questions is amazing. To get the chance to get my car ready, loaded, and be mentally there after a full week of work is something near impossible. At the same time though, for it to be your job has to feel like a dream come true. Your family's hard work don't go unnoticed but y'all are blessed at the same time. Keep on doing what your doing!
perfect timing as usual,,,with another awesome video....🤓💯🤘
The clothes pins on fuel lines . We use to use them for vapor locking on street cars . It’s amazing what a difference they make !
Another great upload Bill. Always keeping it interesting!!! Best of luck and yall have a safe trip!!!!
Hey Bill the Malibu is coming along for sure and I do believe you will get that 9 seconds. And I hope your nitrous parts gett you straightened out. And praying for your pops for a speedy and healthy recovery man. Have a safe and great weekend. Can't wait to see the mods and progression on the malibu
Just watched T2G video last night. He is building a Malibu killer. I love it that all of yall have a slow car project going right now. I do think T2G will be victorious. Bill this is your chance to learn fuel injection, tuning and jeff would say improve your wiring abilities. Lol. Be safe and fast this weekend. Yall are all in my prayers.
Great video Bill that Malibu is knocking on 10’s literally, keep up the good work guys.
yeah, I think a lot of other old timers seen this one coming.....I suggest a tranny upgrade soon as you dip into the 10's, after that, hell yeah, two kits is exactly what the mali needs, 150 off the line and 300 down the line, woot woot keep them street guys on they toes, besides, billy right on that ass with a stock block as the cars are right now
I might be wrong but I think if Billy upgraded the gears in the rearend it would prolly come around not sure what gear is in it now.
@@cfmechanic unless it was changed pretty sure should be a 3.27 in it.....a 4.10 for sure would not hurt billy at all in the stangbanger, however, stock block, 200 to 250 shot....something eventually will go, my guess, tranny first then rear end, unless he tries to stick it at a track, then who knows, break both at same time lol
I spy a new aluminum radiator in the Malibu. Also keep up the grumpiness Uncle Bucko it great! haha
Great video ya'll!!! Uncle bucko to the rescue. Bill think that little sb doin a good job. We had a 80 Olds cutlass with hp 305 from salvage yard with built 350 turbo 411 posi hard to beat on the street miss that little car. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
Absolute best content on You-Tube!!!!!! Thanks Bill👍
Good Morning Mr. BILL. I am not a 3rd shift person, I just woke up and found your video. I would like to tell you I am PROUD of what you have done with TOMMY and BILLY. I wish you the best in doing a 10 second run. Good luck this weekend, please be SAFE and HAVE fun.
All right another video for today,3rd shifter watching while at work 😂
Hey Bill, love all the stuff you share with us.
But a bit of advice. Ya better take time & see your dad as much as possible. I lost my dad when I
was about your age & I regret not spending more time with him.
Bill once again I enjoyed the content of your video and the way you explain things. You're getting close you're just right there on the borderline and getting in 10s back in the day yeah we were happy we can get 11s. Of course that was in 1970 71 72 so we were back there ways glad to see that y'all are well enjoy seeing Miss Vicky this time and for her age she looks amazing you're a very lucky man so from the Old Man in Tampa Florida may God bless each and every one of your crew or should I say Associates that are around your shop and keep everybody safe and healthy and most of all that y'all come back from the Carolinas safe and unscathed
Lol yes sir.....like i say Bill you are knocking on the 10.90 door brother i know it ypur there buddy i knew you would do it! Theres just something about you Bill that really motivates me! I love you all love, peace and chicken grease!
I love your guys street cars, my brother has a 2010 s197 that run 11.60s all motor. It's built obviously with 11.5 to 1 compression. Super fun street car
Cheers !! That Malibu woks good!
man i tell ya... i hate seeing that malabu get twisted up just cause its in such good condition..and like i said before u can say all day i only wanna hit 11 then u hit its gonna go to 10 then u hit that it never stops ur always gonna want to beat ur best record or best the guy that beat u... over the corse of watching this channel Bill has show and explained alot of information and help big time on how to dial in a street car....both channels SRC and this chaneel is full of learning lessons and very well explained by bill.... the man knows his shit!!!! what keeps me watcching
This feels like an "early" upload! Best channel on CZcams. 🍻💚
I love those old Malibu my mom had one when I was a kid turd brown. I was handed it down to me I painted as soon as I got it iroc blue
I can't decide what's better; the race content, the shop content, or the family banter...........good shit.
Thank you for the update Miss Vicky look very intelligent
Bill keep in mind that the larger hose will hold more mass in it. Causing an even faster bottle pressure drop. The twin bottles would be the ticket with 2 -4 to a -6 feed. That will keep the line pressure as high as possible. 🤙
I would have to disagree. The larger line could flow more volume but keep the same pressure. The solenoid jets are going to restrict volume.
LOL. WRONG. Fast guys use a single bottle and -6.
Or an N2 pusher setup
250 shot on -4 line is no problem.
Back in the day I had a '80 Malibu that went 10.20's with a pump gas 496 with no spray. That car was a blast, and I drove it everywhere. I'd kill to find another one as clean as your car. Currently building a El Camino with a little boost. Can't wait to get it to the track.
It will be interesting to see, at what point in this adventure towards the 9's, that the 700R4 has a stroke.
I bet it has an Upgraded one..🤫🤣
Bill said they had it built but it's still a 700R, I've been wondering when it's going to throw in the towel. It has surprised me I haven't seen a built one live at that the times he's running in a 3800lb car at that.
These TWO Brothers-PRICELESS..👍🏼🇺🇸👍🏼..!!
Safe travels this weekend! The Malibu is well on its way.
Just another amazing video to wat h before I leave for work..that is Bill for all the great content and hard work on these videos keep up the awesome work Bill
Wheel balance is out if it develops a wobble over a certain speed alot of shops don't bother balancing the rears see it all the time working at Bridgestone
Still praying for pops and whole Family...
Damn it bill I got up to use the restroom and go right back to sleep but you had a post a video about the same time well I guess I will be up for a while good content thanks Bill
Bill I just want to say your a cool cat I like your content keep up the good work
Looks like that win in Mexico lit a fire in your need for speed! Who wants to start a pool on when the Malibu has a 408, 245cc heads, solid roller cam, a fogger system, and a Glide with a brake, running low 8's 😁😂 I'm gonna say by July of next year
That’s cool you guys have a high end track that doesn’t go crazy on tech inspection. My car is a convertible and I’m not able to even practice my 330. Unfortunately Las Vegas motor speedway follows NHRA tech specs even for test and tune
Same here in Maine they go through with a fine tooth comb, we’re if u watch 50tussin in Florida he rides with a fuel tank and battery in cAb with him, how can that b
Absolutely love ❤️ watching y’all
Love that demonstration of the Bourbon I thinks you have a bounty out for the Malibu
Bill your still killing it! Keep it up!
Hell yea
Awesome Bill That's a cool Malibu.
Good content Bill, can't wait until you do the build on your Nova, I think that will be a whole different ball game.
Hey Bill my brother’s John Deere GT 235 has been solid for years and he has punished that tractor lol. We had sparks flying too this year and had to replace that pulley and carriage bolt. Also this is the first time I had to clean the carburetor in all these years. I finally convinced him not to run anymore fuel with any ethanol in it. Runs great again ! You will get those 10’s pretty easy I think . I hope to see more 1/4 mile passes this year if possible. Have a great weekend buddy !
Really great runs Bill. Check all your fuel filters E85 is probably cleaning the gunk in your tank, and plugging your filters
Good luck in Carolina. I know you'll represent Ohio well. I hope your pops is doing better as well. Safe travels.
Thank you for sharing.👍👀
Knowing you love a good carburetor. I thought of you first thing when i seen a video for the new edelbrock 4150 carbs. With all the fine tuning options i thought it might be make some.good content if you put one to the test and show how the air bleed screws on top are tuned in. And the price of that carb is around 700. Not bad for all the potential. But you being the Carb Guru. Could let us all know if its got any teeth or its just a shiny penny. Thanks for some great content this week the Fam was on point this week...
You just can't underestimate the small block Chevy. I've known a factory DZ 302 run 10k rpm. That's stock bottom with mod top but factory bottom with mild balancing. I love a Small block Chevy. But...
There's no replacement for displacement...
If a person needs POWER, Big Block Chevy is my go to..
Are u drinking, wow u should write a book on Chevy engines
10,000 RPM? Not happening.
Old man you want to hit 10 do it in a Mopar less work but it does cost more . Love the content .
Hey Bill. Few things that work well in these situations.
-Add another bottle, with a Y block into the same main line.. The second bottle maintains pressure in the system on a given hit, and lasts longer before bottle changes. It is not just for "Big" hits. Smaller hits maintain pressure on the big end.
-We run an average of 1,050psi for the hit. Higher the pressure at the start, the higher at the end. Keeps the nitrous in a "gaseous" form to be most effective. Watch your timing. This is usually for hot and sticky days.. Lower pressure keeps it in a more liquid state, less power, less hit, and will tend to run a bit richer for a given hit. This is usually for good air days as it is just more of a tuning window.
-Going to the bigger main with a single bottle tends to drop pressure more, as the volume needs to recover in a bigger line. Usually needs more bottle pressure to become effective.
-A -4 line is more than enough for up to 400hp worth of pills. More important is constant, and consistent bottle pressure. Hence the second bottle.
-Shorter lines hit harder than longer lines. Regardless if from bottle to solenoid, or solenoid to plate. Even on the same size hit.
Something I do with my customers, especially with small tire grudge guys on the street, run a big kit, with a smaller plate. The amount of holes greatly effects how it hits without sacrificing much over all power.
Your suspension and converter, as tight as they seem, need that hard hit to plant the tire and get the front suspension to react. You can see how the car reacts the more aggressive you get compared to NA.
Not telling you what to do, just a few ideas. Best of luck.
I can’t wait to see the results of your test of the bigger line, I have been fighting the same problem with my kit, good run from the start of a pass but nitrous falls off fast after, I’m running the mainline nx also with 250 shot.
“Uh 🤔in Mexico.” That’s a good one Bill
Always good old man
Excited to see how you will get the Malibu into the 9s!

I really enjoyed the watching the slow car cash days. That looked like the first time yall really had fun. I have got a 72 Nova that is really nice . It won a car show and I didn't wash and waxed it or I didn't even armor the tires. I'm looking to change the engine because it slowed. Got to find someone who is good on Holly's carb. It eats alot of gas and it's a little on the slow side . I would like to travel to one of yall's cash days. Yall made it look to fun and you had non stressful. I love all 3 channels
