14 is a critical age, especially for a girl. If you uproot her entire existence (not just SRC) and move her to a foreign environment... and she's pissed off at the world... she can develop the wrong circle of friends and take a nasty turn. Same for boys. If you've got a GOOD thing going with kids in this age group, it's a good idea to not upset the apple cart.
@@n2omike i can absolutely tell you this is the truth, my family moved not even far from where I went to school during my sophomore year of high school. I ended up getting pretty depressed and anti social for almost 2 years till i pulled myself out of it.

I truly believe the good lord made you go to A1 to meet that young lady. Hope she stays in touch with you and your family. I believe it was GOD'S plan for bill to stop in. You may have an idea of a plan for the day BUT during those plan's GOD interjects his plan and finesse's it. We all meet people through faith and fate

This family doesn’t just inspire “racers”, new and old, but they inspire almost anyone with a pulse!
The cars and racing are what brought me to the channel years ago, but it’s the family that has kept me coming back episode after episode and the dumbfuckery between em all is just the icing on the cake!
The next generation of racers. It's a good thing to take time with the kids and let them know we see and hear them.. I'm loving Addies spirit.
Bill, there's a lot of folks (myself included) that really appreciate what you, Billy, Tommy, Allison, Vicki, and the whole crew of Rob, Kenny and Harley, Jeff-fa-fa, Jegs, A1, Uncle Bob, The Turd Barrels, and of course Uncle Groucho. I'm sure I've left someone out, like Paige the Duce, and I apologize. The point is, some folks remember watching every episode of their favorite tv shows as they came out, and the new generation may watch every rerun. You've all become a staple in so many lives with your knowledge and expertise in the racing field that we look forward to each new episode in each channel. Thank you!!

You guys inspire old people too. I’m a 42 year old truck driver and I’m away from home 2-3 weeks at a time. I watch all the videos from the channels. Over the winter I started building a truck to drag race . I’ve still got a long ways to go. I’m basically building it by myself. The lack of time and funds has made it a slow going process. But it will eventually get done and can’t wait to put it in the beams for the first time!
Hey Jenna, that's great! Take your time, learn the right ways as you refer back to Bills videos and always pay attention to details and maintenance. Certainly today's video showed why. Taking an older vehicle and putting it on the strip requires a lot of cleaning and close inspection.

It's so humbling when we realize how many people we have a positive impact on. I love it when a customer leaves a positive comment about our shop and how they were treated by us. We never know what effect we have on people just by being kind and the the random acts of kindness that we show to others 😊

Been watching SRC since the beginning and that S10 has won a lot of races and has been the cornerstone of SRC ! Good for her, I like hearing stories like hers. My first car I bought was a 69 SS Chevelle with a 396 I was also 14 years old. Body was clean but the motor was beat to death and it needed a full interior and wiring harness, but it was mine. After working on it for about a year, my dad and I rebuild the motor, (stock rebuild with a cam and 30 over pistons) got it running and was finishing up the interior when it got stolen and I never seen it again. Not a week goes by that I don't think of what could have been!

That was a really great story Bill!! I've been watching SRC not from the very gegining but pretty early on and watched how Billy grew and advanced his skills driving, wrenching and tuning.

I have a feeling that little girls dreams are about to come true. And that she will be getting help and guidance from The old man's Garage and SRC family. You guys are awesome! And shout out to her dad for dropping everything to help make her dreams a reality.
Bill you are what this country needs more of. Taking the time to listen to people in a day and age when most kids have their phone stuck in front of their face tells them people out there care. Inspiring those who are coming up that hard work and faith are keys to keeping kids out of the wrong things and places. Then seeing the rewards all your family have, mainly the relationships with all the good people around you is something money and tv fame can not buy.
The tale of you meeting that young lady hit me.....it gave me a creeper tear.....THAT is what it is all about. Making a difference in another person's life in a positive way. Being in the auto repair business, I get to deal with a lot of negative vibes, but when you can help a person in real need, provide a solution, and educate someone who isn't really car savvy in a way which can positively impact their life, you know you have done some good. You just reminded me of this. Thanks Bill.

Bill im 31 yrs old and growing up the closets thing to any type of racing i was into was Demolition derbys and truck pulls. It was street outlaws that really got me into drag racing to the point i would actually watch it but it was Billys youtube channel that has had me hooked on racing. Watching the connection between father and son during the good great rough and bad times the two of you are just like me and my father. I want to build a car so bad i can hardly stand it. But that little girl and her dad have found the absolute best family of ppl to look up to in the sport and life. At her age with the determination she has if things work out for her to have this chance she could be the next big name in the sport some day with lots of hard work she will get there.
Now that little girl touched my heart! Because of her and being inspired by y'all, they are not moving. Amazing things happen for a reason my friend

She enjoys racing with me . I raced stock eliminator for 10 years, but had to sell my racing operations for numerous reasons. I want to do it again so bad, your family has filled that void!
