Best Isuzu rodeo video I've ever seen. I'm getting me a 93 rodeo soon and I will be making some winter vids and a few summer vids of off road use and drifting
you made that look easy well done. I live on Mt Hood so I've been on similar rotten snow and been stuck (my driveway more than on trails embarrassing) I would love to see more video. Low dollar beaters or home built not these ultra expensive rock rigs would be real fine. Thanks
more vid to come on this just stay tuned to my channel, and the jeep well I got the parts, now just have to get working. problem is just HTPL, (health, time, priorities, life)
Idk if you will see this, but, I'm very curious; What size of tire and wheel? I read below that it was a 1.5 inch front crank up - I really want to do this to a rodeo, just wondering, how much fender did you have to cut? Also, I haven't been able to find shackles, apart from some dubious ones - is there a generic type you can use? I've seen add-a-leaf stuff
0hn0haha I spent 16 hrs modifing the wheel wells, even pie cut the floor board and adjusted the clutch pedal up an inch. Those are 12.50 36”, and I have even run 37s. Just made rear shackles out of 3/8” x2 flat bar. Google pirate 4x4 JANTZANITA for a build thread
try some of the Isuzu forms, or ask on Isuzu trader on Facebook. those guys know it. you could just put in some air bags Napa part number, ART60797 this will keep it from squatting and lift it a couple inches. then use a coil spring spacer. Why lift the rear 3" you can only lift the front about 1 1/2" with a torsion crank. well yes you can go all the way but then it handles like crap and wears out suspension parts rapidly. I only lifted 1 1/2 on the front, and lifted 2" on the rear with longer shackles, and of course lots of fender cutting. Oh and I put in an extra leaf spring. this didn't really lift it any, but kept it from squatting when filled with camp gear, hence I suggested the air bags for you.
love those trucks man!! So much fun, and they go just about anywhere
Damn, these rodeos/passports are so freaking OP
Nice meeting you today, Carl! Thanks for taking the time to chat and thanks again for the J-Flaters!
Great video and that's some excellent driving. Haven't seen that skill since years ago
love the jacket at 1:41, built not bought!

Exguast? 3.2.? Sounds good. I have the same set up almost.
Just a 3.1 with a bad gasket. tried to fix it twice but the tube is tweeked from going over rocks, and its not worth working any harder.

Looking for rear coils to give me a 3inch lift, any recommendations? 2000 Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo

Nice vid, does this Rodeo have lsd or open diff?
The "old man emu" trooper lift springs will give 3, but you would need aftermarket torsion bars to get the front to 2 1/2. I can't remember the brand.
sweet. someone knows throttle control. see world. the trick isn't floor it.
Thank you very much!
