We rock crawl, river raft ( almost) , and Snow Wheel through the Elkhorn Mountains, making the Pass at 7500 ft. A miracle day, no one broke down and nothing went wrong.
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. I want to move to Oregon so bad but I don't know how to take the first step to starting a life on the other side of the country lol
Wilbur Post typically 38” tires, 5.38 gears, dual tranfercases, and we dont do any lift kits, other than minimal on my jeep, which you can view here on my channel, superjeep pts 1 through 9
I've been running 35x12.5x15 Mickey Thompson mtzs. Great tire, but just sold them so I can work on the axles. My current project is a 97 jeep xj with a 6inch lift, an can't go much biger than a 36 without wider axles. Any suggestions
how tall can you run, I suggest the nitto mud grapplers in a 15.50 wide with lots of sipes and groves, 38 tall and will outdo any 40" . in the 44 range I have never run anything better than these 46" mickeys!
depends on tire size, for the 40 and under they are fantastic, over that size well the tire has more bit than the trax. I always take them out as many times I use them for others as a quick get it unstuck.
I have managed a light bike on snow once, so hard in the morning you could pull a wheelie, so 20 min up a swow filled canyon, then 3 hrs later the sun was out for the return trip down, and what was 10 min up was 2 hrs down.
@ M Barilla You missed a fun ride. Your loss. These boys really enjoy offroading. I appreciate the upload. I'll be watching more of y'alls videos. @Carl JantzEngineering
Hello Carl, it’s Rick, Mike’s friend. Great talking with you yesterday! Outstanding video!! Nicely done!👍🏻🇺🇸
One of the best 4x4 adventures I've seen on the Tube. Well done boys!!
Finally had a chance to watch this video . Great footage Jantz! Definitely some very well built rigs set up for the snow . Thanks for posting this up.
That xj is inspirational. Love no lift or very lcg builds. Going that direction with my xj.
Awesome, thanks for the show
That taco with the rear steer is amazing!

Awesome!!
Good job, thanks.
Thanks for the ride...😬
I keep picturing little people in the back steering lol
Now that's some 4×4ing
What a crew....
Those old xj s hold their own against some pretty fancy iron.
I kinda wish I bought wider tires now. 38.5 x 11 x 15 boggers on my 93 4 Runner. I need some dual wheels so I can have 8 boggers lol.
Bad ass!
The dogs seam to enjoy 4 wheeling also
sweet rigs
What’s all done to that white Toyota with the exhaust stack ??
I think he's upgraded since this video but wasn't snowbatman99 running front AND rear Dana 30s??? Pretty crazy but it works for snow crawling.
Good video; would be nice to know the specs (tire size, lift, gearing, etc.) on all the different vehicles.

Clean Freaks Automotive Detailing no lifts allowed, modify the body
I like doing this with 10th scale trucks
Very nice... I hate sidehills... No b,,ls I guess!l. Lol
If you hate sidehills be sure to watch “super Jeep Classical Sidehilling”
Never seen rear wheels steering like that. How do you do that? Wish it's in HD.
basically, you replace the rear axle with one from the front. you run a hydro assist versus hooking it up to the steering shaft.
@@yourpasstime how do U make up for the rear diff being off center and getting the driveline to line up?
You put your heart and sole into it and it works, here how it was done czcams.com/video/jr-pDR20Htk/video.html
What are some good tires for wheeling in deep snow in the winter?

watch any of the "Snowbatman99 videos, and do as shown"
and also watch the 22snowshoe vid as well
What tires are you running? When I saw the camcorder 😂
46” miky thompsons
Are the Maxtrax worth the money?

Is that super jeep from Alaska off road warriors?
Naturally
Could a dirtbike rider with backpack even have followed you guys in this wading, mud and snow?
