- This 35 minute workout will leave you feeling so accomplished! This 20-10-5 Method has helped me get all the important elements to a transformation in within a short workout.
Todays' workout has a full body focus as we hit
20 minutes of cardio (getting your steps in - walking while doing activation exercises in between intervals)
10 minutes of strength training (to activate the muscles, build strength and create change
and 5 minutes of deep core to strengthen the deep muscles of the core and pelvic floor - this will help strengthen your posture, tighten your tummy and will help you be stronger and have more endurance throughout your day doing your daily tasks.
This 35 minute workout has 2 water breaks so come prepared with:
a water bottle
2 five pound weights (or more)
and a mat

I love the silent workouts with music as much as I love you vocalizing and teaching us more about the exercises we’re doing. I say this because sometimes I just watch workouts to learn, especially on my rest days.
OMG I did it!🎉 And with no struggles I was able to keep up with your pace the whole time and what I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about you JO is that working out with you, you make 35 mins fly by SO fast! @@bethelihemdebesai1014 to be totally honest no, I am not doing like any specific type of die. And I know it sounds cliche or repetitive but two of the biggest eating habits I changed while starting the workouts is that I just started drinking water all day long, even with my meals.I like drinking mineral water with my meals so I can still get the carbonation and the rest of the day just some water with lemon. So replacing sodas with water changed my swelling issues a lot. Also even though I still eat sweets but I changed that a lot too, meaning I switched processed or refined sugar desserts for fruits. Like apples with peanut butter or Nutella etc. and just over all started eating more whole foods . Lots of lean meats, veggies and fruits and nuts etc. so I'm not following a specific diet, I'm just eating a more overall balanced healthier diet and I still indulge my cravings once in a while without going crazy. Honestly once I stayed consistent with the workouts and hydrating myself regularly with water, my usual cravings and sugar cravings actually started naturally going away and I was actually craving the healthier foods. During that time of the month though I would still struggle with wanting to eat more/ indulge in my cravings so I just found ways to fill up on higher amounts of lower calorie foods like the fruits and veggies and I'd find healthier versions of my usual "go to" sweet snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth. I know it's not any new or different info than the usual " just eat healthier and drink more water" advice, but truly and honestly that's what has worked for me. Also Jo is not wrong consistency is key with both the workouts and the nutrition you have to stay consistent with both and be patient with yourself most of all and you'll start to see the results. Before anything else I changed my mindset and attitude towards myself I gave myself more grace and patience and everything else has started falling into place. I still have a long road ahead but I know I'll get there this time so I know you can too. I wish you the best and just be more gentle with yourself and just don't give up. Stick with it because you know you're worth it ❤️

I'm 24, and 4 Months ago i gave birth to my third child. Its been quite a journey with my weight in all my pregnancies, i always gain between 20-30 Kilogramm and struggled with finding the time to workout (kids are 4,2 and 4 months so its busy here) but these workouts always getting it started for me. They motivate me so much. Right now i'm on week 3 with Jo's workouts, doing them daily for 30-40 minuted and changed my diet . After birth i was at 80 Kilogramm (172cm height) and now i am at 66 , feeling energetic and very happy. Thank you Jo, love from Germany

As someone who regularly struggles with getting in good ab workouts, these moves really opened up my idea of what exercising those muscles can look like. I hate the more traditional forms of ab exercises so this was amazing! Thanks Jo!

This was honestly one of the best workouts I've ever done! The sequencing was great, the time went by fast and as always I loved knowing what to do next. It was so fun seeing you speak as you lead too!! I loved loved loved the core at the end - shocking how you can do such little movement and feel that it is working your core!!! Can't wait to do the rest of this series Jo!!
I love that I got super sweaty (worked hard!) during this workout without intense cardio like fast feet and running in place, etc. etc. I don't hate fast cardio, but I just really loved that I could get my sweat on in a calmer manner today! Thank you!

I previewed the workout last night and decided to commit to this as a morning routine. I woke up today, weighed in. completed this workout. Yes, I didn't quit, I completed it! Then went for a two-mile walk. I'm so glad that i finished this and actually broke a little sweat. I can do this consistently.
Just finished this and my stomach is burning! I’m looking forward to strengthening my core because that has been week for as long as I can remember. This is my second go round using your workouts to reach my goals but instead of focusing on the number on the scale (lost 50lbs thanks to you), this time I’m gonna focus on strength and toning up to actually love what I see in the mirror. Wow! I feel so proud of myself this morning! I practiced this work-out for the first time 3 days ago and I gave it my all (after 6 months of daily dance workout with Jo, I thought I was ready). I ended the session in tears because I was exhausted and in pain. As I live daily with chronic pain and am learning to respect my current needs and limitations, I decided to adapt the 10-10-5 technique and do it only every 2 days (I alternate with gospel dance workout videos). And this morning: I finished the session tired but victorious, with a big smile! Thank you Jo for your gentleness, your smile and your inspiring vitality!

I really love this!! As a busy, working mama I don't get much time to work out but LOVE to and really need it for my emotional health but never know which to choose as I love pilates, yoga a day strength but don't enjoy monotonous cardio 🫠. I did this workout twice , once w/ music playing so I wasnt able to hear what you were saying and be totally present in the workout. The second time I was completely in silence and truly felt empowered, mentally and physically. I’m so used to playing music while working out and not saying it’s a bad thing because it isn’t. I just thoroughly enjoyed the talk throughs and encouragement in this vid’ . Sometimes that silence is needed to listen 💕 and I appreciate the listen from your words

I have used your workouts for a long time now, and you are my absolute favorite coach! Thanks to your workouts my body is now strong enough to do harder workouts like jogging, which I struggled with for many years after giving birth to child number 3 and 4. I had acl replacement surgery, and 2 other knee surgeries on one knee and 2 on the other plus bi-latertal shoulder, and bi lateral ankle surgeries, and Joe is my lifeline!
I modify when I have to, but I push myself and can do most of her low and some high impact routines.

I have to get used to the talking, it does help a lot. Im just used to you mouthing things, which helped me push through.

My partner pays and has me on his plan. I've never seen an ad. It's not a lot a month but if you want to save money, just walk through it or do your fave movement. If something is to hard for me, I just dodge anyways😅💖 I think it's just about keeping it moving. I hope that helps

This was a good workout and obviously well put together. However, I prefer the more laidback style... less about coaching and doing a program and more about moving my body and feeling like I'm working out with a friend.
I also hope that Jo knows she can take more time for recovery if she needs to. No need to churn out content at the expense of her happiness. We'll all still be here...

Loved this so much Jo!! I've been working out with you for about 2 years now! Whilst I wasn't seeing any scale results for a long time my Joy and excitement around exercise Increased with every video! recently with a massive change to my diet and your videos I have finally lost 10 kilos!! 🎉 the final key I believe to my journey has been to really listen to my body and reduce Cortisol and Stress! AM sunlight, less screen time and less multitasking ladies! Hope this maybe helps some of the other mamas and ladies out there who like me weren't seeing scale results for sometime 😊❤❤

I weighed myself after and before workout and i clearly lost 600 grams after doing this. Amazing it is, going to follow the routine for 3 months on a daily basis.
Current weight= 71 kg
Aim to reach= 60 kg in 3 months.

Actually I prefer the guides and information on correcting your form, especially with weights. She was a personal trainer for university athletes. Makes sense to talk during PT

I loved this video! The muscle group visuals were incredibly helpful. Things like the countdown timer in the corner was a great touch it kept me focused on the exercises instead of constantly checking how much time was left of the video.
