Dan and Chloe spoke about Ibou Konate's recent form during the Player Ratings show following Liverpool's 1-0 win over Atalanta. The result was not enough for the results to progress as they fell to a 3-1 aggregate defeat.

The fact that Ibou got the most touches in the game (and Alisson 2nd most...) is incredibly telling. Atalanta completely nullified our game by simply letting them have the ball. It wasnt just that the team were poor, Klopp also tactically lost out to Gasperini as he's done a few times in recent months. I hate to say it but maybe it is time for a new gaffer with fresh plans and ideas...

Stop the nitpicking, every player is now struggling. The intensity Klopp wants from his players, surely must burn you out
Konate’s form? Half our squad is out of form right now which is a concern
Losing Matip is a massive blow would be offer him a new contract for an extra year for his skill set
Konate is like a lot of the players coming back from injury
Depends on how he comes back from injury and what he’s willing to accept

Matip has been a big miss that I never hear anyone speak on when discussing the season.
Only silver lining is Ibou needs this "seasoning". And it's allowed Quansah to develop as well.
Take more than matip. He can't score the goals or create at other end. It's our whole team not performing 360 minutes not 1 goal scored from outfield. We are horrific at the moment. They need to up there game 100 per cent everywhere in the park to get a result just against Fulham away now
We haven't scored from open play for 360 minutes that is absolutely shocking stat. Can't see us getting a result Sunday at all unless there is major improvement
It's the fault of the forwards when they refuse to score goal of course, it affects the defence
I’m ready for a new manager with some new players, see if we can get things freshened up
nothing wrong with Ibou rather with game plan tactics. Can't expect from a defender to cover gaps of right back who's always high and late at coverage. See VVD side is safer most of the time cause Roby properly covering his side
Was a big mistake not playing Quansah in either leg. Konate is barely winning his aerial duels either atm.
Everyones been shit but konate has been one of the only good players he always wins the ball back
I just don’t get what’s going on, feels like our team have all lost their footballing ability. We have genuine world class players with a chance to win the league still, how are the club not sorting psychologists or literally anything to get us back to normal
Ibou needs to work on his passing ability. Especially long balls. Defenders gotta be able to play those balls.
I’ve been saying for weeks Quansah should play over him. We’ve gotta say it how it is. Klopps subs and starting line ups have been wrong most games the last few months.

Wrong tactics,wrong personnel on the pitch,most players in wrong positions, clueless managers ( and for a long time!, we were just lucky)
You must be crazy to say that. Ibou is playing as centre back and right back at the same time since last season. It is easier for VVD to play at his back just covering, but the one who have to run to cover this stupid tactic with no right back makes the right side of the defense look stupid, meanwhile we are having an "extra midfielder" and looking at the last games we only see long balls from defense to attackers who can't even control the ball (every single one of them) because only Mac Allister is doing ok playing there. If they keep only Ibou, VVD, Robbo, Mac Allister and the boys from academy for next year ok, I'll miss no other player.
The players need new management everyone is off. And last season was the same . The new players gave it a boost but it’s back to the tired tactics and a tired manager .

Ibou's ball control and touch looks like it's taken a dive. The amount of times the ball seems to slide past him or go under his foot. It's like he's never contorled a football in his life...
The lad simply doesnt have the brain for CB role, he has all the physical attributes but lets face it Matip was outplaying him when fit and kept him on the sidelines now we have a 20 year old rookie doing the same thing.
He has fallen off but since last night i dont see it as a big concern at the moment since the season is over.
Wouldn`t just single Konate out , most of them are not up to it at the business end of the season
This team is a mid table team. Klopp has been the difference.
Have you guys ever thought that these players we have aren't good enough ? We hype them so much for doing nothing , they are very unreliable , yet we rely on them only to let us down each time

@@TheAtticusFinchSome of these guys are not Liverpool fans. Liverpool is the most improved team this season, despite injuries, poor refereeing/VAR decisions, revamped midfield. The future looks bright,..YNWA💪🏾‼️
Not entirely his fault obviously, but sick to the back teeth of conceding in the first 20 min of almost every game, it is becoming a tradition

So what the fk, seriously what the fk do these players do in trading ? Why don’t the coaching staff state, right you !! You’re staying behind and do padding for an hour, or fk whatever it’s needed. It seems most other teams are coached proper. Our players are just traded to fit in a system.
