- Andy Hunt and Ian Hamilton scored the goals as West Bromwich Albion beat Swansea City 2-0 in the Division Two play-off semi final second leg at The Hawthorns.
Ossie Ardilles' men trailed the South Wales outfit 2-1 following the first leg at The Vetch Field.
The Baggies won promotion back to the Old Division One after beating Port Vale 3-0 at Wembley in the final.
Albion legend Jeff Astle is in the commentary box.

I was in Brummie Rd end with my old pal Chris, I remember it so well. We were a pair of Devils back then, best days of my life watching the Albion. Some of the scraps we got ourselves into its a wonder I am still alive, the good old days (not so much on the pitch but certainly on the terrace's )

Great little WBA team that one, crowds came flooding back (Health and Safety rules in stand reductions permitting) some great characters, saved WBA from oblivion really. Freddie Mercury in goal (Lang), Burgess, Raven, Lillwall, Hamilton, Donovan, Bradley, Melon, McNally, and to cap it all off up front- Hunt & Taylor.....
In the ft centre of the Brummie for this and was crushed even before the goals. I still have my VHS copy of the match tattered and worn but ah memories 😀✌️
