As a person from the city of Portsmouth every Pompey fan wanted West Brom to win that game. Obvious reason Southampton went down bottom. But also the team was hugely admired as at Christmas 2004 you was automatically assumed to go down. But the fight you showed was amazing. I remember my dad massive Pompey fan could not wait to watch match of the day to see the highlights of Pompey losing a game 😂. For me West Brom and Fulham pulled of the two greatest escapes the premier league has ever seen.
