That game was tremendous, the roar of the crowd when big dave got the first goal, then super bob sealed it, brilliant memory that will last a lifetime. Gary worked a miracle at albion .

Probably don't share the overall talent of our current squad (sometimes very questionable), but this team was just a fantastic unit. Every single one of them always wore their heart on their sleeve, and they're a group of players i miss very much. I may only be 21 now, but i remember every single one of these lads as if they were still playing today. My childhood Baggies team

Tears in my eyes again. I can still remember traveling to Gloucester with a hangover on the Monday morning. Boing Boing.

One of the greatest days of my life.
My personal, family and work life were a complete shambles, the only thing I had was the Albion and they didn't let me down.
Still get goose bumps watching this today 😊👍

The current squad could do a lot worse than see this before tomorrow. Yes it won't be the same without fans, but knowing what it will mean to make yourselves heroes, and the chance to make history should give them all the motivation they need, because the ability is there.

11 points clear Wolves were of West Brom with 7 games left. Some of the games Wolves lost near the end was down to pure pressure. One of them was at home to Grimsby, Millwall away cost them too. Fair play to West Brom for catching them. Getting that last minute penalty at Bradford was huge for Albion. I remember that season well, both sides deserved to go up along with Man City. To make it worse for Wolves, Birmingham went up through the playoffs. To be honest Wolves were never going to win the playoffs after that collapse at the end of the season. It's a different Wolves now that West Brom will face next season in the Premier League when they come up.

Yes you are right, Wolverhampton have done really well thanks to their Chinese owners, and good management, but these Local Derbies have been known to be extremely competitive!

Seems like all of the Brum teams having been taken over by foreign investors in recent years. Turned out better for some than others. West Brom aren't much more advanced than they were this season, and it seems they've slipped back into been a up/down team.
