He says it’s the most difficult place to manage, but ask Kevin Keegan, Bobby Robson (RIP), Glenn Roeder (RIP), Chris Hughton, Rafa Benitez, Eddie Howe will all say differently. The bottom line is the managers who say it’s the hardest job are often the ones who blame everyone else apart from looking at themselves, and ultimately the bottom line is they just aren’t good enough. Allardyce, Bruce, McLaren, Carver, Pardew, Kinnear, Souness all managers we’ve had that would never get a job at the likes of Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

Danny Rose joined Bruce on loan from Spurs and he was astonshed at how little they trained - Pochettino had the Tottenham players in and working hard almost every day, whereas Bruce only did a couple of days a week. Compare Eddie Howe's regime and just look at the difference with many players who were there and underperforming. Howe said at his interview that the first thing he would do if given the job would be to get the team fit. For me, fitness is the achievable aspect of any team sports, then the quality of players you have to do it is second, not rocket science.
Both Allardyce and Bruce have had their day and achieved things, but please just ride off into the sunset with your collective massive payouts for failure at your job. Ashley binned Allardyce andwith the 3.5 million he received he bought a villa in Spain and called it " Casa St. James ".

In Spanish the word casa 'house' derives from Latin căsa, ae which had the following meaning: any simple or poorly-built house, a cottage, hut, cabin, shed, etc. Nonetheless, the word casa is translated into Latin as domus, as seen in the Nebrija dictionary from 1495: Caſa por el edificio. domus.us.9 Sept 2019

Frustrating the Bruce, Allerdyce, Dalgleish, Souness vendetta against the Newcastle United fanbase. They don't understand us. Dalgleish replaced Keegan, who was idolised. Dalgleish was given a chance but he replaced Ferdinand and Ginola with has-been players like Rush and Barnes. Souness replaced Sir Bobby and isolated players like Bellamy and Robert. Allerdyce can get a bit of a reprieve, he did bring in a lot of has-beens like Geremi, Cacapa. We didn't play exciting football on the pitch and we had mercenary players. Bruce replaced Benitez, again a manager who understood the fanbase and tried to change things. Bruce accepted the problems with the club.
The only manager who was maybe unfairly treated by the fans was Pardew. Think he was maybe more a victim of the situation and the only public figure of the club at the time.

It is absolutely the biggest pile of s**** I have ever heard,” Bruce said amid speculation that his job was insecure.
"Some of it needs to be more measured. I give respect. When I see polls, the next manager and the fella from Bournemouth (Howe), I find it disrespectful, I have to tell you.”
Aiming a tirade at the journalist in question, Bruce raged: “Your paper was gunning for a manager that got a team relegated last year."

Steve Bruce may have been a compitant player and manager once but he came to Newcastle as a yes man for Ashley. Mike Ashley's concept for Newcastle United was a mid table premier league club that would earn him Prem money and TV rights, while he could take free national advertising for his discount sports shops, and sell every single player that recived a profitable offer while investing a minimal amount of his own money. He also instructed managers not to qualify for Europe because he would then have to pay for sports direct advertising around the stadium in European games, which he took for free instead of paying for that club asset. Newcastles Net Transfer spend over 10 years, after a decade of Mike Ashley, was just £10million. The only club in the league with a flat £0 investment from owners in 10 years. During all of the backlash from fans, Bruce actually came out and called the fans delusional for believing this club was capable of competeing at the top of the league, that we should be greatful just to be in the Prem..... He brought a lot of criticism on himself by towing the owners line.... Compare him to Keegans return, a manager with integrity, who saw what Ashley was doing to the club and refused to stand for it. Bruce had the worst start to the season in Newcastles history and almost got us relegated after having years to work with the squad and players. Eddie Howe came in and saved us, within a just few months had this same group of players that looked like a league 2 team under Bruce, playing like a solid premier league side. He took players like Joelinton from one of the biggest flop transfers in the league to one of the best midfield inforcers in the league. Im sure Bruce is a lovely guy, and Im sure he'd be a better manager with support and funding from owners who actually want to win something, but his showing at Newcastle was abysmil.

Salty fans we have !! He’s telling you the truth and you’re still calling him a liar , he’s said since he’s left we’ve bought well and the club has spent well from top to bottom . Yes he’s not as good as Eddie Howe and neither were his staff ! And he admitted he’s at the end of the road when they asked what help they could give him !

Don't talk wet. The man is a pathological liar, I recommended Howe...Utter tosh he was disgusted and had a dig about him being relegated on TV. I knew Joe wasn't a striker yet played him upfront over and over again. He's doing his usual ME ME ME Routine and talking out his arse, And don't even get me started about the time he slagged Newcastle off whilst kissing Sunderland arse imagine a manager of ur club doing that then being expected to be behind him.

Forgot how deluded this guy was, He suggested Eddie Howe to the owners he says, But when eddies name was put to him by the media as someone who could come into replace him he was quoted as saying “Who the guy who got Bournemouth relegated” doesn’t sound like someone he would recommend, And to say Amanda asked how they could help him and he said they couldn’t and took himself out the picture is laughable , He says fans judge him unfairly but spouting this shit is the main reason. Almiron , Schar, Joelinton, Wilson, Murphy, All vital in what Newcastle have achieved last season, When things got tough he stated that the squad wasn’t a premier league standard squad , Literally tried to throw these players under the bus, Sorry man is a clown and should be nowhere near managing any team
