Shame Cyrille Regis coming on as a sub was missing from the highlights. Both sets of fans applauded Cyrille. He was an Albion legend but that day was playing for Wolves
Back to the days when fans were genuinely buzzing to going and watch the Baggies play at the shrine. When boinging meant actually bouncing rather than waving your hands about a bit.
I was 12 first local derby i remember seeing that many fights before the match and after. Thought our bench was poor when bully went off we had no striker to come on cyrille was done by then good in his day rip cyrille good game
Remember being a 12yr old in the away end, Darren Bradley had tried them all season with nothing coming from em but he had to score against us good ol'days
I worked a Cyril Regis house a few years ago, and he asked who I supported and I said the Wolves and his reply was "OH No not the dingles" Made me laugh, a true gent who had the respect of every Wolves and Albion fan!!!
Because they’re an awful club and could only ever attract a player like Regis when he was an old man. They could only dream of producing the players that we have.
All you need to know my friend is that the best striker they ever had(but WBA management hadn't got a clue about) Stephen George Bull MBEwas playing for the Mighty Wolves
Bradleys goal was probably one of West Broms goals EVER. Yes I was there to see it!!!
2 Albion legends no longer with us. Hammy and Cyrille. Class.

Steve bull was an albion fan..everybody in tipton knows it
but he turned up at wolves and became our greatest ever scorer. thankyou very much.
Pure nostalgia, not a pair of poncey pink or yellow boots in sight...
you have to ask how Regis ends up playing for the Dingles..OMG Cyril !

Why do you call Wolves 'Dingles'?

Hi, anyone got the line-ups for this game plus the subs that came on for during this game?

@@liamwhitcombe1237 he didnt last long lol
Best striker we ever had andCyrille comes on, ????
I will NEVER EVER forgive Ron Saunders for selling Bull.
The technical ability of players back then was pretty bad..Lots of long balls and kick and rush
Give me guts over anything.
It was a local derby .. blood and thunder over technical ability in these games .
And all British ... None of this foreign laden football ... Not many Europeans and certainly no South Americans ... Oh for yesterday !!
