In this video I make some headers for the v8 and we finally hear it run, and i almost ruin the engine immediately. I then continue on the roll cage so i can actually fit in this dang car.

Hey Casey! Love the build, but If you hook the fuel line up to the fuel inlet and not the PCV port it will not only run better, it won't fill the engine full of fuel.

You had the fuel going to the PCV line not fuel line. That is why you flooded engine l9ve the videos keep up the good work

That's not where the fuel feed goes to on the Edelbroken that's a vacuum port 😂 the fuel goes in the right rear top port.

A driveshaft loop would connect the 2 side’s of your 4 link,save you some broken bone’s,& be the backbone of your driveshaft tunnel. Kinda like the crossbar on a back half car/truck setup,easy peezy

And no, you didn’t hurt your engine, you actually just cleaned any older oil that might have been stuck to the wall’s of your short block assembly. Just drain the oil out and make sure to use a good oil with Lucas oil stabilizer. It will help with the life of your engine,I’m a sure believer in the product. Works great with any type of oil too. I think you have a unique hotrod sir. Yep, that Holley carburetor will make you some good horsepower. Something to think about,ATM makes a Holley type carburetor and tell them what crate engine you have with specs,& they will send you a carburetor already tuned for your engine and cheaper than a new Holley,they just badazz brother. Can’t wait to see your next video,come on!!!

You should do the floor plates under the frame, that would do two things
1 show off all your metal and frame work
2 it would make the bottom of the car smooth and flat.
And bonus you wouldn't have to lift it if you ever had to take the body off (hence less weight)

Dude you’re awesome I’m glad I came across this channel
I think you should put the engine back up where it belongs...take the hood and split it along the lines from window side down towards front end. Bend it up and weld triangles on either side and make it like a scoop. Engine will fit then, and I only say this is because it is going to make it difficult to get your pedals and steering right with the engine where it is now. Make a scoop with center of the hood is my only advise. But I am watching and it looks like it will be fun when done.
When I blow them up, I do it right. Made my 327 into a 5 hole. 4 normal cylinders and 1 big hole in the back. The Crain cam end was on the floor and the trans was tost. It's not to often you start a rebuild by welding the floor and fire wall up. Lol

The closer you are to stock seating and dash position the better IMO. Visually and engineering wise that would be pretty dope. Just gotta build a crazy center hump. LOL. Give it a cockpit feel like the C8. Id wrap the inside with that adhesive "alcantara" style fabric, put the tile carpet on the floor. Make it look finished.. And put a nice lil chrome fire extinguisher in there.

When you do your firewall, especially around your headers.. Double layer the metal.

You could always put aftermarket upper control arms. Or notch your and put in . curved piece of metal back in for some extra room.

CRX project is coming along great
I like the idea of the engine being moved forward just a bit. For more cabin room, then use a rear gearbox & short drive shaft.
Unless it'll only make minimal improvement in weight distribution & handling & is much harder to do. If that's the case & a standard setup is much easier. I'd go that route but make it a manual gearbox. Would be nice it could be daily driver sleeper & fast AF. Like the black dodge challenger in Arkansas that keeps out running cops.

Somebody just said that and i thought they were trolling, i can’t believe i did that. It had a 3/8 fuel line coming off it and i was jn a rush i didn’t even fucking look. I feel bad i kinda threw the carb now lol
