Great progress .I'd loose the distributor blank the hole .fit a front optical trigger unit to the front of the motor on a degree pulley .speak to holley. Will you be putting the radiator at 30 degrees and a cowling round d it or horizontal mount it with a scoop underneath and outlet for hot air under the screen .instant demist 😊
I suggested he just use an Lt1 engine with the Opti-spark front mount distributor and a really low fuel injection intake design like what he already has in the 67 4door, but oh well.
Suggestion, concern I have about the roll cage braces in the front. The way they’re oriented facing directly into the cabin in the middle of where a person would likely be sitting is probably not the best option. Maybe angle it to the sides so in the event of a crash if it does break or force the brace into the cabin it’s not directly going through the middle of the firewall.. where a person would be sitting…
@@CaseysCustoms also unless your going for a sleeper look.. a gas cap through the rear window.. but then you’d probably have to have a piece of plexiglass for a rear window then lol
It’s the little things that make it all worth it. Pushing it back out side and seeing it in its new glory is it! That little feeling of what ever is what makes all this stuff worth it. Instead of someone yelling at you “Why haven’t you finished yet just finish it right now!!!”
This is the BEST project yet. Although the 69 Blazer is a close 2nd. Don't understand why the vids don't get the love they deserve. Let's see some more of that bad boy :)
Dark window tint would be prudent for that morphed Honda. What a sleeper. It looks on camera that your right quarter panel dent threw the rear inner fender well catterwompus. Might have been just an optical illusion. 👍

That metal thing on the yoke is meant to balance the driveshaft. I had one on my Mustang and it broke and clunked around until I replaced the driveshaft. Hated that thing new driveshaft is so much better lmao

Hey Cassie you should build a 94 acura integra with an ls swap out of a chevy lumina pace car or front wheel drive Monte Carlo mounted in the back to make a mid engine.
A friend built a mid-engined van years ago, that driveshaft was inches shorter than yours (it worked well too.) btw - in my day the AMC Gremlin was similar to that ride, it could even come from the factory with a V8!
Why not just use some half circle hoops of tubing on the cage to enclose tank. So that way if you did get hit in the rear it will protect the tank from rupturing ?
Turning into a total Pro Street Honda Civic, and I love it! I hope that you are going to tint all of the glass so no one will know whats going on with it as you drive it around. They will be tied into a cross bar behind the dash, but not a horrible idea to angle them
