  • Bobber & Eggs Fishing For MONSTER Coho Salmon!! (4K BOBBER DOWNS)
    On this week's episode of Chasing Chrome, I head to a new river here in washington state to go coho salmon fishing with the notorious bobber and egg setup! In this video I explain exactly how I use bobber and eggs to target these coho salmon in the River. During this absolutely epic time of the year we get the amazing opportunity to go fishing for and to target coho salmon here in washington state as they make their way from the pacific ocean into the various local rivers and streams to spawn. In this video, I go over my basic setup that I use to go bobber fishing for salmon here in washington state, show you how to fish it, and also end up catching a couple nice ones! I hope you guys enjoy this bobber fishing for coho salmon video! Be sure to sit back, relax, and don't forget to subscribe for more videos like this one!

    • @BrianMonticello
      @BrianMonticello  Před 2 lety +4

      Thank you! Checking out the WDFW hatchery escapement reports will give you a VERY good idea of which rivers have a good run of hatchery fish. From there, I like to then go onto google maps and cross check spots close to the hatcheries with the fish washington app to see where it is legal to fish and the regulations, and then go out and explore the river! If you want a more bare bones approach you can just see which rivers feed into saltwater, and then again explore google maps and consult the regs… tight lines!

      @@BrianMonticello That is why I am writing. Don't care about your video. There is nothing to be proud of pulling out those dark fish and have them. And you know very well where did you put report with river name. People are fishing over there and nobody writing reports about. Guess why? Because more clowns will come with their stupid useless 1/2-3/4 oz twitching jigs and rip up anything that is moving in the water. And 80-90% of them are not going to fish like you with bobber and eggs, or beads. Not trying to be rude, but year after year this wonderful fishery before becoming shitshow thanks to guys like you.

      @@kmakma355 Hey man, I honestly feel bad that you feel that way, and you’re entitled to your own opinion. Is my goal to blow up rivers? Absolutely not. I really enjoy making these videos as a mix of a few of my passions, and the amount of people who benefit from these or find them interesting, or educational vastly outweighs the occasional negative feedback from people like you, who in my opinion have unfounded anger and misguided blame for the increase in fisherman in “their river” in recent years. Me simply posting a video of me fishing at an unnamed river is not the problem. If you’re looking for something to blame, take a look at the population increase, and associated gentrification and homelessness in the surrounding areas, and think about how a population that has doubled in recent years might affect the number of fisherman at the bank, not a fishing video of an un-named river with 2,000 views. I can confidently tell you that all the spots I have posted videos at over the past 2 years and have fished at multiple times since haven’t had any more people at them since before I posted. I get that you’re angry and want to blame me, but think about what you’re saying…
