- I had a solid outing on the river landing 2 decent sized coho and loads of jack coho. I didn’t eat breakfast and decided I needed something to eat. No better way to refuel than cooking a freshly caught coho salmon over a fire.

Great video! Coho must be over 25cm, all other salmon species are 30cm min, info is at the top of region 2 salmon regs. See you out there!
Thanks for the clarification. The CO couldn't even find it on the regs to show me LOL. Jacks are the best when camping, perfect for a solo meal!
@@riseandalpine the way the regs are scattered threw out a few different places makes it very tough to know all of them, apparently even for a conservation officer. Lol
thats the best way . with potato and lemon..some spice.. its gold
Looks like an awesome day! Thanks for taking us with you! Tight lines!
Thanks Magus!
Dude loving the content🤙🎣
Thanks for tuning in Isaac!. It 's gonna keep on coming!!
Blowing up buddy !!
Vedder got to love it. I keep jacks great eating. On a day like that I'd keep 3 hoping for a bigger one
Delicious Eating! I'm always sleeping in my truck without a freezer so just keep what I can eat for the night :).
you deserve more likes
I really appreciate the support SneakyRoze!
Nice fish. What size bead is that? How long of a leader from your float?
Hey Landon, thanks for watching!
I was using a 14mm BNR soft bead. I usually run it about 3 finger lengths up from a size 2 barbless hook. My leader is typically around 18-20 inches. (from the swivel to the hook). I change my float height depending on the depth of the water (best to be about 1 foot off the bottom)
Heres the link to the colour of bead I was using: bnrtackle.com/product/soft-bead-nw-steelheaders/
Nice blue gill. Dang that's big 🤣
Biggest blue gill I've ever seen 😂😂😂
Amazing Vid, Is this upper vedder or lower? great vid again!
Thanks for watching David! Unfortunately I can't share too much information about the spot, but if you do a little hiking and look for walking speed water you can always find solid spots where coho will be holding!
@@riseandalpine yea nobody wanna be a spot buster on the internet, duh... lol but I think I might found it on maps.. anyways, love the vid man, appreciate it!
@@davidxia5127 Have fun out there!
Hello, can you tell me when this was filmed? Was it recent.
It was filmed in late mid/late October
Looks like a good carp river ...
I'll have to pack the corn next time to chum the water 😂😂😂
Cool when was this?
Hi Jaden, this was about a week ago. Still some fresh fish moving through.
Is this the same Juan.
Different one than last time. All jack coho look the same LOL.
