This week I continue to explore my ancestors in Switzerland, in the little village Schiers.
My 9 times great grandparents Christian Pitschi and Magdalena Meyer lived in the little mountain village I visited last week. They were married and had their 9 children baptised in Schiers. And this week I met up with Karin who had the keys to the church, so I could actually check it out on the inside.
A very powerful experience and so grateful that I had this opportunity, I am aware that it is very rare to know the exact church that you ancestors were married in going as far back as early 1600, when the family has crossed 2 boarders since then.
I also visit the only local landmark, the Salginatobel Bridge and get a distant view of Fajauna, the village my 9 times great grandmother supposedly came from before she married Christian Pitschi.
In Schiers I booked a room at the Prättigauerhof.. I wanted something local to get a sense of the area, It was nothing fancy, but just perfect for my stay:)

Thanks for documenting your Swiss journeys with personal histories as part. It is a long ways away
so to journey with you saves a lot. My two or three grandparents away left Switzerland for Amerika
but I also was blessed with a sense of ethnic connection as a kind Swiss same last name took me to Schwarzee and the mountain range opposite Kaiseregg. The farmhouse older than Canada , the noisy bells of cows, the freezing cold water to bathe in and drink. He shared how people were the biggest export in the country as times were tough before the last century.
He also slept in the hayloft just like the book Heidi, while I had the best room. There were times my language attempts were not good enough, but in the right context the Swiss were interested and interesting as any people in the world such as Canadians.
There is a sense of looking through the eyes of ancestors in such places , and it's easier to relate to the love our First nations aboriginals also have for the land Creator gave them. Grateful and honored by other's kindness.

thank you for sharing this. I was born and raised in Schiers and still have relatives there. By watching your video I'm aware how much my hometown has changed over the years and how much I would love to go back for a while.

Your ancestors would be very disappointed! They were most likely Anabaptists and would not have had their children baptized! Sorry I had to comment... just wanted to inform you. Hope you had a great time!
I can't see anybody leaving Europe and want to live in America, or if you have something special for you as a job or an investor and you have potentiality for a business, fine.I was brought up by foster family, the man was handy man the women did the cooking cleaning shopping and two daughters who were nothing and were being paid by my real parents as this was during the great depression in the 30s.

( No more death is referring to death of spirit, because The Holy Spirit is quashed by wars, abuse, sin, hurt, slavery and oppression etc which take away peace and happiness and fall short of God's Love causing grief, pain, illness, sickness and death of the spirit leading to death of happiness and joy leading to depression, anxiety and sicknesses that in time lead to sickness and physical death. )
If there are millions of people on antidepressant and anxiety medication, then there are still millions of anxious and depressed people. Masking a symptom with a drug is not healing and so the fullness of the spirit and fruits of the spirit are lost and life looses joy and natural pleasure. This is why spiritism/pharmakia cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven and neither can the sinners.
For Life in accord with God's promise for life we must walk in and by God's Spirit of altruistic Love for Life. God's #Loveisnotacortisol stress hormone and God's Love guides us away from the causes of stress hormones to allow our endorphins to flourish.

God's Love made whole and One in our blood. The end is the beginning of The Word, His Love in our blood, the beginning of freedom, righteousness: freedom from slavery to sin addictions, freedom from slavery for Healing pains for everyone, All Nations for Heaven on Earth as promised by God as declared at Revelation 21.4
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, ( JHVH which means ' He who causes to become ' anointed with the whole spirit of Love, namely Jesus Christ )

So if we are behaving with God's Love for justice, peace and righteousness here on Earth we are embodying God's Heavenly Love here on Earth as it is in Heaven for The Holy Spirit to dwell in us, in our body, The Temple for God's Love to dwell in us for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love and Light for Life. God's #Loveisnotacortisol stress hormone but an endorphin blood made whole and One in us for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through Jesus Christ, Amen. The Holy City, The Heavenly City Zion to which All Nations will stream... Isaiah, Revelation and All Scripture. Endorphins are our natural body biochemicals for relaxed and happy altruistic living and caring for others. Endorphins are our natural pain killers and 'feel good factor' that come from living in accord with God's Love and the reward of giving care and kindness for All the fruits of the spirit namely Love, Joy, Faith, Goodness, Kindness, Mildness, Patience with Self Control not to hurt, abuse nor sin against another (or self ) for a quiet conscience with self and God for Twofold Peace which is the meaning of the name Jerusalem for New Jerusalem for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through Jesus Christ, Amen. Ameen. Shalom. Namaste... Twofold Peace in every language for Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through the whole spirit of Love Anointed, namely Jesus Christ...who was and is the greatest healer of all time and who is coming quickly, Amen.

The cells of our body are pure intelligence and work in harmony with morals and ethics. It is the stresses we encounter that cause the autonomic nervous system response which leads to cortisols, illness and disease. The empty money god and sex idolatry, austerities, oppression and divisive culture we live in are what are making people struggle in life and the stresses making people sick and causing suffering for the masses. For our well being the whole system needs a turn around to welfare not warfare and prosperity for all. This toxic way of living where we have been made dependent on supermarkets and hand outs that are not neccerily healthy or beneficial and are responsible for so much plastic pollution and animal cruelty. We must wake up to reality and for health and well being does not come from screens either. We must get back to nature and growing our own for everyone's well being, the people, the children, the families, the community, the environment, the plant life, the insect life, the planet life, all life. It's not rocket science and has been documented for thousands of years in the sacred writings. God's #Loveisnotacortisol. God's Laws for Love are to avoid cortisols. Love is what strengthens our body and immune system and the corruption has been educating against Love for a number of years now and look at where this has got us, a world pandemic, as prophecised.
