I took a trip to Switzerland more than a decade ago. I visited Zürich briefly, but stayed in Chur for my entire trip. I also visited Arosa.
I never forget my trip to Switzerland as I have great memories from there. That is the only country that I wish to re-visit one day.
When I landed in Switzerland and then reached Chur, my first thought was: "Oh Gosh! This is heaven. Am I seeing this on earth? Am I dead and gone to heaven?"
All I remember is the magnificent scenery, very beautiful memorable town, and a peaceful safe country. God bless Switzerland 🇨🇭❤️
I agree it's so out-of-this-world beautiful, and I would like to go back too. I want to visit the Lake Geneva area next:)

I was there in 1999 and never forgot it. We stopped by there on a Sunday morning and all the church bells started ringing at the same time. It was the most magical and beautiful place.
Oh hei, I live in Chur! It's very strange to see how you feel about these places, which are for me the most normal places on earth. I see these houses and churchs every day and that's why I don't even notice how nice they are! Very impressive! (Sorry for my bad English🙈)
Hey.. I am planning to go to Chur in late September and since I come from a hot country (Dubai). How cold should I expect that city be and how many days should I stay in that area?
Travelling Tigers hey that's cool and I can only recommend you to visit Chur!the weather in september can be during the day up to 25 degrees celsius but it can also be rather cold and/or rainy. It's often very windy in Chur but the wind is warm. You can visit Chur in one day but there are many things to do additionally and in the surrounding area. So there is enough to see for several days and I would advise you to stay a few days. I hope I helped you with this.

Rual Switzerland is so underrated.. I loved Chur and it wasn't touristy at all!!:)
Neat to see a person visit place ancestors lived. Makes ancient history come to life with all the different tribes. Like learning how people went from BC life in Adriatic Sea eventually to Scandinavia and then back in 600 AD through for Slavic people. Get a mix of generations I would think for siblings. 🏡⛲🚞
