My Granny taught me the Vaseline tip years ago, the best!
😮
COSRX’s snail mucin power essence is such a game changer for dry skin like mine. I haven’t even finish the entire bottle but my skin is noticeably more hydrated and soft and bouncy. I pair it with their snail mucin facial cleanser since it’s the less drying out of their cleaner line. Definitely recommend the snail mucin for my dry to combi skin gals and guys!
I bought it,but not sure when to use it .
Their moisturizer is AMAZING too!! It makes your skin so smooth and is a great primer for under makeup
@@eloisemosquera8031I use right after cleaning my skin. While face is kind of dump yet. I let it sit for a minute or so then I apply my moisturizer.
I put it on before I go to bed@@eloisemosquera8031
BUT FUNDED BY ISREALIS! NO THANKS !
For the cracked heel hack. Before the putting the sock on, put saran wrap over your heel after applying vaseline and then put the sock on
Wow I'm so going to try this 😂 even if my husband laughs at me 😂 thanks !
The Vaseline and socks works for me cause it's so hot and humid where I'm from and we don't use AC so imagine wearing socks with just a fan 🥵
Thanks
For real tho, getting the grease stains out can be a challenge. Great tip!
Wrap in saran wrap, cover and, roast at 325° for 2 1/2 hrs. Basting often. Serve with roasted baby reds and grilled asparagus and balsamic glaze. 😏😂😉
Cracked heals may be a vitamin B3 deficiency. Take a B complex to keep B vitamins in balance
Good to know, thank you for sharing that!
Calloused heels: before leaving tge shower scrub off dead skin. I use a scalp massage brush that has rigid plastic teeth; a stiff brush will work. Use all the creams, etc.) but the answer is that the skin is dead, scrub it off.
#2 IS a major benefactor for skin health. I’m using it since it came to our market and I’m not going to change it for another
Yes!! I'm so glad found it.
I have been buying all the products you have recommended thank you I’m an older person with extremely dry skin I hope it works!!❤
And also, Cicaplast is a dimethicone-based occlusive cream. Surprisingly, even though I am a huge fan of silicones, and even though silicones seem biologically inert, I have found dimethicone to be comedogenic.
the texture is too thick like a latex glue for mel I used it all but don' t think to buy it again
I love Vaseline!!
Everybody does, can't find it anywhere in the shops ✨️💋
Yes! Old school staple!!
Great tips 🌟👍🏻Thank you, Dr.🙏
Love the cicaplast baume I use it at night time my skin loves it 🤩
Castor oil works way better on cracked heels
La roche posay is becoming my fav ones, i have both of them and i love them sooo much
And how does it smell?😅
How much is it?
I love there after sun lotion.
Awesome tips!!!
You have to get rid of that amount of dead skin though nothing is going to penetrate that there’s so much dead skin you may softeners a little bit but you’re not actually gonna moisturize dead skin so that Hass to be removed first I would suggest exfoliating with an AHA And then slapping on a really thick moisturizer with a little bit of petrolatum I’m not a huge fan of petrolatum I don’t know why it’s pushed so much I’d rather go with the Aquaphor at least you get some added ingredients like panthenol to calm the skin!!!
Exactly. This information in the short is so misleading.
I use Shea if I have to but bison cream from artisanal soap makers is THE best stuff, I can guarantee you. I have severe eczema on my feet, but just dabs of this stuff every night massages into my post-showered, exfoliated, feet, then socks, keeps them so smooth. Also, after putting the cream on(whipped tallow is what it is) including between my toes, because it's eczema, I also add a few drops of hand sanitizer (70% alcohol) w/ lavender, tea tree, & lemongrass e.o.'s added, to make sure no fungus gets a foothold bcs of the broken skin. That's on the heels & btwn my toes. And no, it doesn't wipe away the cream, just disinfects the area, leaves behind the e.o.'s. I have really healthy feet again after not being able to take care of them bcs I was too sick for almost 2 months w/ a really bad sinus infection that wouldn't quit.
❤
Anything with urea/ureaic acid!
I wore Derbies Repetto shoes. It was a bit out of financial comfort zone. As a result, I those d...mn shoes for months while my feet was on fire.
My point is, my skin got thicker. Especially, in the heel area, where it hurt the most.
My heel actually took the shape of the shoes. 😂.... 😭
Before, I wore tennis shoes, and never experiencef a problem with thick skin on my feet.
Also, you're gonna have to be patient, before you see result.
I would 1. Soak feet with Raw Sugar Body Wash. 2. Dry feet with towel. 3. Dry Exfoliate with a foot paddle or foot scrubber (see the dead skin cells flake off)! 3. Put feet back in foot tub and scrub with a foot scrub (or make your own out of sugar and olive oil). 4. Dry feet. 5. Use a peppermint foot spay. 6. EXUVIANCE leave on AHA foot balm to hydrate and exfoliate, or Aveda foot cream!! I'm an Licensed Skin Care Specialist and Licensed Nail Technology Professional! Vaseline will hydrate, but it traps in oil and dirt! Need to clean the feet first!! I luv hyaluronic acid. Works great. I work at Ulta, and so many customers come in for the snail mucin!!
Also don't forget about the cause - detox your liver and your feet will heal so much faster.
You don't need to detox your liver- you have a balanced liver for that. If you have liver issues, that needs to be treated properly by a licensed doctor.
@@deahnamansfield4522thank you! That’s quite literally the job of the liver. I’m so sick of seeing people say this nonsense or go on about their various “detoxes”
Not sure how you can back this up medically, but my favorite hack is to use chapstick on paper cuts. You can also use it on your nose during winter time if your nose is cracked (some kiddos have this issue with runny noses), and it also works if your hands are cracking as a last minute fixer if you have no lotion around
Agree!
That's because chapsticks usually contain petrolatum and beeswax which are proven to help with healing by keeping bad things out. But do be careful which one you apply as some have fragrances and other additives that might not be nice for a wound healing.
Smh can you send me some of those samples 😂 times is too hard for me to buy stuff that's not working.
Thank you for all your advice!
Love these videos great job❤
I use castrol oil 😊
I saw another doctor that said it will help for belly fat too.
I love the snail serum!!! I have this exact one
Please give non-toxic options . Thanks!
Every time I use HA my skins feels drier afterwards and I apply it to damp skin!
I can't believe this.... You are my dermatologist!!! 😮
Some think they know more than a dermatologist
Please guide on cruelty free and vegan options more?
Can you do a segment on cruelty free replacements for these products. Thank you.
The snail mucus one is cruelty free.
@@surferboi2005 Thank you👍
COSRX doesn’t test on animals but snail mucin obviously comes from snails so if you’re also looking for vegan on top of cf, you won’t be able to use snail product at all. For cracked feet, I highly recommend urea over vaseline… some cruelty free products are the Inkey List’s 10% urea moisturizer and Ebanel’s 40% urea cream. Good Molecules and The Ordinary have good hyaluronic acid serums but not sure of an exact dupe for the B5 one he referenced. Never heard of the last product he mentioned so can’t recommend a cf dupe. Updating to add: apparently Purito’s Centella Recovery Cream is a good alternative to the Cicaplast Balm.
@ank5083 Even better, very much appreciated. Thank you
Snail mucin is cruel. Obviously not cruelty free, because the snails are stuck in overcrowded tiny containers, leeched of their natural juices, and then killed. They are literally sucked dry.
Forget the Vasoline, petroleum…yuk!
Try Castor Oil, organic & hexane free. It’s pure & good for your skin!!!!
SKIN doc 💪🌹 the 3 items to use
You Rock
Thank you!
La Roche Posay and Vaseline not cruelty free. I would get the cruelty free versions of those products. I'm sure they work just as well
Need to try these!
I did not expect a gang sign at the end at all😭
Those samples look so cute I want them 🤭
My palms are so dry I’ve been slathering on lactizal 15% lactic acid Moisturizing Cream then Vaseline and gloves in the evening. I purchased moisturizing gloves and heel covers from Kitsch. It’s a lot, but my hands were so rough and dry they were causing my hair to break. Thank you for being a great online support and resource for all of us!
Recently found out I am allergic to petroleum/aquaphor. Used it and started developing hives
Can you put a link in the commas where we can buy the items? Thanks.
❤❤❤❤ your channel
I learned that vicks vapo rub on my feet feels so good. Rub in & put on socks
It's vaseline 😂😅😂
@@DebbieTDP true but with vapor..
@@nancyashmore8042
The "vapour" (herbs extract and camphor) is to unclog nose and chest, it does nothing to your feet. It's the vaseline that works to smooth the skin.
Omg...thank you....
For cracked heels you should be finding out from a doctor why that's happening first before you do any remedies...
Merci ❤
Can U make video on neck wrinkles and hand.
Face lines
🥰 new subbie
what do you suggest for severe psoriasis?
What is the difference between LRP cicaplast b5 and Avene Cicalfate?
Where do you find #3 at? Like a reg pharmacy store. I have dry knuckles 🥲
How is the hyaluronic acid purified and where does it come from?
Two reasons why putting socks on at night won't work for me.......
My dog will pull my socks off and lick my feet. (I know, not good. I'm asleep most times when she does that. She crawls under the blanket.)
Sometimes I get way too hot and end up kicking them off.
You once mentioned before that for Retinol use after a shower, wait 30min to let your skin dry, apply Retinol, wait another 30min and apply moisturizer. Is this correct? Or did I misunderstand? Not trying to spread misinformation 😮
Yes- you got it correct! If you’re in a hurry, you may get away with layering moisturizer right over retinol without waiting that long 👍
@@danielsugaimd Thanks, doc! I appreciate the response. I’ve definitely noticed better results after letting my skin dry much longer and putting benzoyl peroxide or a retinol on. Pesky acne scars!!
@@danielsugaimd
Sometimes it took me an hour or two to remember that I need to apply moisturizer after Retinol. Blame it to my age of 65 😅😅
But doc, will it still work?
For me, the snail mucin really made me have breakouts and irritation. I stopped using it. It was just not for me. 😭
this really works. I was shocked.
any suggestion for dry skin? cerava moisturizer and hyreloric acid doesnt help
“Walking on glass at. Timmmes” 😂😂😂 what ?! 😂😂😂 yo !!!!
Vaseline all day every day!!
I work in a hospital, my hands now have contact dermatitis due to the latex and it will not heal so I wonder if some of these items would help
Can you use the snail mucin and the HA serum together ?
The La Roche cicaplast is also excellent as a diaper rash cream, I don’t bother buying anything else now.
Eating more protein and no carbs cured my lifelong callous problem AND my dry hands in winter. Vaseline did not, but it helps.
Arnica salve for dry cracked skin.
I already use vaseline, snail mucin, and the LRP Cicaplast Baume B5+ pretty much every day. So this was great validation that I'm doing some things right 😆
Odd and honest question: Would it be rude to call a dermatologist office and inquire about possibly obtaining samples if I am not a patient? I would assume there would be fee if they are not free. Really would like to try out different creams / cleansers / moisturizers / spf’s
Can you comment the product "oil petrol serum" from Transparent, with 10 % niacinamide + 5% zinc. Thank u in advance
Okay Doc, the feet are going to need more than Vaseline 😮, but that music in background was swaying , what ya know bout that DOC😅😅😂😅❤❤
any alternatives to snail mucin? the world loves it but it makes me break out so bad 😞
Omg, that's the smallest vasseline bottle I've ever seen! Too cute😂
Any topical recommendations for ringworms
That Laroche Posay syrum is $79.00 in canada 🤦♀️ can I have a sample please
So, you put hyaluronic acid in before moisturiser? I’m fairly new to using this stuff and I have been putting it on after.
vaseline alone for dry feet? without moisturize before ?
Vaseline seals everything up so I would suggest after shower dry with a towel and then use moisturizer with urea and seal everything up with Vaseline. Pd I'm not a dermatologist
thank you so much , i was surprised because he only said vaseline@@alxlvi1200
Yes I use moisturizer first them use this to seal everything in
I'm at the end of menopause and my faced has decided to turn red. Like I'm embarrassingly blushing! Would to LP Cicaplast help?
What would you recommend for neck creases on babies?
Vaseline is ONLY a barrier, not a moisturizer. If you have dry skin and don't apply a moisturizer prior to slugging, you're just.... keeping the dry area as it is. First moisturize, then protect with a barrier (vaseline, zinc baby butt paste, even coconut oil)
I also use Vaseline for wound healing
any difference for roseCa?
Except for vaseline we have great and cheaper replacements for these products here in Brazil
CCS foot cream is the best thing for the feet.
I’m sorry the snail mucin I just can’t 😩
Oh someone already commented this no surprise there 😝
Same!
Why is that?
What if you've tried everything to keep your feet from being dry and cracked, but nothing works? 😢
How about the feet socks that you can peel off when it starts to sheds?
Vaseline makes my chapped lips and cuticles even worse in the morning . Am I allergic to petroleum??
After using snail mucin ,my skin breaks out... What should I do plzz reply
Hello sir dark spot serum tell me
Hylau B5 ... Halleluia!
How do I clean my socks after I put Vaseline in ?
Vaseline…lol…also known as petroleum…also highly flammable can start a great fire and the root word is petrol which is the name for gasoline in the UK…and we put it on our faces…yeah think about it
Any info for hidregeenitis?
I really enjoy your info. I just have a problem with the way you pronounce petroleum lol
Its not working... its been 4 weeks and i'm having to soak my socks in awesome degreaser from dollar tree before I can even launder them safely. What next? Any recommendation? They r sooo dry.
All of these advice dr dray gave way before a lot kf these derm youtubers started their own thing on youtube
Snail serum is made up of snails??? 😮
It’s made out of the mucin that makes up their slimy trails. I tried it even though it disgusted me and I had glass skin for a few days until it made my skin break out all around my nose & chin.
Yep
There are cruelty-free alternatives. For instance, Vegreen makes a wonderful serum that's an alternative to that.
I used hyaluronic serum before and I developed tiny bumps pn my forehead
I already discovered the vaseline tip
True
He went from affordable to expensive. Sometimes I just want them to be realistic when comes advice on skin care. Tell us what we can use that is actually affordable and not all the high end brands.
These are all sold in drugstores. None of them are high end.
Anything to help bruises on older skin go away?
Arnica cream and/or ice.
Traduire en français thank you ❤
Go shawty!
