I have a couple of Satin pillowcases that I purchased from Winners. My hair in the morning now isn't tangled and messy like it was using a cotton pillowcase. I have allergies and using a humidifier every night helps too. Take care everyone 🌹

I use a bonnet on top of sating pillow case because I dont like putting my face on a pillow where my hair is

Is a silk pillowcase better than the more affordable satin pillowcase?
I own both and the satin one is much more slippery in a good way, but not as breathable.

I start out that way, then end up turning my lower body to the side through the night because it's uncomfortable. Lol it's hard work not allowing the tip half of my body to turn too but I manage it most times 😅

I don't like retinol. I think it makes my skin look drier and more wrinkled. I stopped using it.
use it sandwiched on your skin. So moisturiser, retinol and more moisturiser help with dry skin
For dark circles
*How much percentage of retinol the olay one has? I'm a beginner and I don't want to use over 0.1-0.5% concentration of retinol because I'm afraid on purging.*

You know what bothers me? There’re pillows out there that cost like 300 dollars and their sale pitch is that regular pillows cause not only the sleep lines like what he’s talking about at the end here (which they do), but they claim regular pillows also cause actual wrinkles which I’m pretty sure they definitely DON’T… They pretend like sleep lines and wrinkles are the same thing all so they can sell you their 300 dollar pillow. It’s just a giant scam.
I mean sleep lines can become permanent just like dynamic wrinkles so I don't see a huge difference there

Can I use the retinol underneath my eyes because I have dark circles underneath my eyes, but I also have psoriatic arthritis, so I have to worry about psoriasis?
Retinol is not a treatment for dark circles under the eyes

Don't use retinol around your eye.It makes your eye dry and sensitive. You can use eye cream with retinol because it is specially designed for eye.

Do retinoids like the Olay one help with acne? I was on prescription tretinoin in my early twenties and it destroyed my skin, I broke out with awful cystic acne that never let up and I’m a chronic anxiety skin picker, so the scarring is subtle but noticeable. Trying to find something effective but more gentle on my acne while I look for a proper dermatologist who I can afford
The last two videos I’ve seen of yours (this one and one about acne) talk about skincare and NOT doing it while pregnant. Can you explain why it’s not advised?
There are certain ingredients that aren't recommended while you're pregnant bc of potential harm that can occur with the fetus. It's actives like retinols and exfoliants that you shouldn't use while pregnant but hydrating ingredients and peptides are fine.
Will the over the counter retinol help with acne as much as tretinoin?
No. Bad acne will benefit more from tretinoin

I’ve heard butt paste is a better alternative all together. There’s one I always see a derm using on here, it’s called “triple paste diaper rash ointment” and is available at Walmart for under $17

You can use vaseline at the corners of yours eyes, around the edge of your nose and lips to prevent irritation from Tretinoin, a prescription Retin A product. It can also be used in your PM routine after your moisturizer; google “slugging” skincare.
Use it liberally at night after cleansing your face and applying your retinol (or whatever serum you might use)

Never heard it can cause it. Heard if you have it, don't use it. You might want to double check that.
DO NOT USE A RETINOID IF YOU GET YOUR BROWS OR ANY PART OF YOUR FACE WAXED. IT CAN CAUSE SKIN LIFTING.

I use a high thread count cotton pillow case but then after I stuff and smooth the pillow in the case, I sew in shut on my sewing machine with a basting straight basting stitch and use a seam ripper to open it to wash my pillow and case seperately
