    I bought the Ordinary Glycolic acid originally for my face but it's too strong. Since I didn't want to waste it, I started adding a few drops in my body moisturizer. Boy has that made a huge difference in my skin. I love the products you mentioned. I love that you promote affordable products on your channel & TikTok.

      That sounds similar to one of the channels I watch that had the ordinary's peel, and wound up using it on her feet instead.

      Hmm... interesting idea. I might have to try that, yet I wonder if it's ok to "mix" products...(??) As a consumer, I look for products that have great active ingredients, are highly effective, are reasonably priced and (generally speaking, with a couple of exceptions) are easily purchased at a local store. Right now, for body care, I use a lactic acid body lotion, I like, that I buy at a "big box" store. I've not seen a glycolic acid based body lotion, in the store, which makes your idea interesting. 🤔 (I'm aware of some sold online.) There is a store, local to me, that sells The Ordinary, which reminds me, I need to repurchase one of their products that I've run out of! 😂

    • @db-gb5xi
      @db-gb5xi Před 11 měsíci

      As far as acids like that go, it's probably best to exercise caution as far as mixing. It's better to get a product where those ingredients would be formulated together. Because like you said, there are products for the body that do combine different acids like glytone, neostrata, paula's choice, drunk elephant, alpha skin care, naturium, pixie, etc.@@JanelleA.

    Every winter I suffer from extremely dry, itchy, cracked, bleeding hands. This winter, thankfully, I didn’t. The two hand creams that made a massive difference are the Neutrogena Norwegian fragrance-free hand cream and the Cerave hand cream. Also be careful about what hand wash you use and make sure it’s a gentle one with no fragrance (I like Ecostore but that’s probably not in the US).

      I have a couple spots around 2 fingers where my skin becomes thick and dry so I use the products that he discusses in this video and I not only apply to my hands but I apply it into my cuticle crevices. I apply it and leave it there to do it's thing. The only problem is everything I touch also is moisturized. Some days I wear gloves or try to sleep with gloves on just like I do with socks on my feet. I'm one to dislike the look of dry cuticle skin on my finger nails and applying the lotions in the cuticles around my nails has helped a lot. Vitamin E has helped the dry, cracks and peeling of my finger nails too.

  • @melodysillemanruddell5375

    I used to get cracked heels in the summer from being barefoot but not anymore since I found all these great products that you listed above plus a few others. I try to apply maybe once a week and wear thick socks to bed. I was consistent with over the counter wart treatment and got rid of my warts too.

    This question has nothing to do with this video... but, I am a 69 yr old lady with big dark spots on my face and dry skin. How do I get them lighter or get rid of them. In that area, it doesn't seem to let the mosturizer or Vit. C soak in. Also can you please tell me when to use the products. like 1st cleans, serum, then moisturizeror sunscreen? Thank you

    • @akindlemom
      @akindlemom Před rokem +2

      Copper peptides might work better for you than vitamin c. Also, make sure you are exfoliating your skin a couple of times a week. That can really help absorb the product better. Go lightest to thickest for products with sunscreen always last.
