To help lessen dry cracked feet be sure you are getting enough B3 and omega 3 oils in your diet. Cut out corn & vegetable oils, instead use olive, organic coconut,r avocado oils when frying your foods. Plus cut down or cut out sugar. Anything with high fructose corn syrup is awful and contributes to foot problems, from pain in foot heels to include the whole bottom of feet when walking.

Peppermint Castile soap will do this without soaking. I keep a bottle in the shower with pumice (the really airy ones they use at the salon) and every few days or so I put a little Castile on the pumice and go town for about 15 seconds per foot while in the shower and my feet never get build of dead skin anymore.

Hey. From experience, I've learned that the grater keeps making excess skin. The more you use it, the more you're gonna need it. I stopped using it and started using a mild pumice stone. I also apply a homemade shea butter mix to feet and wear socks for awhile OR sleep in them to allow butter to melt into skin. Feet are smooth again. Evn if you don't use butter, plzzz stop using the grater.🥰

It will take the dead skin off while you’re getting your feet done, but
your feet will start to feel hard
after a few days & look horrible with dead skin & hardness as
long as you let the pedicurist keep removing dead skin with that

I had a big callus on one side of my foot that been there the years and I never could completely get rid of. All I did was get some warm water holder peroxide in there and soak my feet for 15 minute. I use a foot scraper. Then Iris soak my foot for five more minutes and finish off using the foot scraper. That callous is now ninety to ninety-five percent. Just want to say thank you thank you 😊.

As the foot corresponds to various parts of the body, it helps especially during the last days of my cycle. I treat myself once a month sometimes twice a month when really stressed. I try to fast a few days prior and the day of, drink only water and green tea to help my body remove the toxins that have been massaged out and will later be excreted.

I also like to moisturize my after doing this process by mashing up a over ripe banana, applying to your feet leave on for 20-30 minutes, then wipe off with damp towel, your feet will be smooth and soft. All I have to say is THANK YOU!❤I had my feet looking excellent BUT I was using metal instruments and I mean using them faithfully!Even drew a little blood sometimes...But,I had to keep them done every week because the skin always grew right back thick and hard...This method here have my feet so soft and beautiful I wished I would have started this year's ago!I won't ever let metal touch my feet again! This method even got rid of my calluses...I had one on each foot but now they're gone and I don't have to make this an every week routine because it lasts but I make sure that it's a part of my routine daily...I soak for 20/30 minutes and use a soft pumice...You know the sponge like pumice and it pulls so much of that dead skin off and it feels amazing!I use a little Vaseline or Bag Balm afterwards and even after every bath and I'm all set!(No socks because I hate sleeping in socks) Keep my toenails done and it's a wrap...
I've learned that after using the metal scraping away skin the first reaction is that the skin is going to rejuvenate itself and grow back fast and thicker and that's not what we want at all!Hope this helps someone because this technique is the bomb...(Don't have a foot tub don't worry...Use a pail/bucket and work your magic!)

I agree, the grater seems harsh. I use an emory board, buy them at the dollar tree, while feet are dry just lightly sand your dry areas off, it is kind of what would happen if you were walking in sand, much gentler and baby smooth feet. Then shower, soak or wash feet and moisturize.

I am going to give this a try! I have had extremely rough thick skin on the bottom of my feet for DECADES! I have informed my primary doctors, been to several podiatrists and tried all the suggestions (pumice stones, diamond crystal foot files, slathering my feet in Vaseline or other gels/creams/lotions/oils before bedtime while wearing lined socks, etc.) with no luck. My feet are silky smooth immediately following a pedicure but the thick, scaly skin always returns within a week or two. I hate the idea of using the cheese grater but I actually have no choice. My case is a bit extreme. Thanks for sharing!

You may have some sort of skin condition similar to dandruff on the scalp. How about soaking your feet in selsun blue plus peroxide, plus gold Listerine? This should kill any microorganisms that are causing your body to overproduce skin cells on your feet. Also, how do you walk around your house? Do you go barefoot, wear slippers or socks? Sometimes if you go barefoot you pick back up the microorganisms that could be lurking on your floors. You may want to sterilize your floors with a good cleaning of bleach, or other thorough cleaner appropriate for the surface. If you have old shoes this could be a problem, too.

Vaseline works well with minor cuts and healing of exes skin healing. Vaseline is good to have around for any minor cut or scrap. It's also good for dry skin.

Those graders and rocks are what caused my skin on the bottom of my feet to be rough. That grader is what actually damaged my skin. I must’ve over used it incorrectly. Now, I only moistorize with heavy oils, lotions, and creams (e.g. shea butter, Lubriderm, Eucerin, Vaseline to seal the moisture and wear socks 🧦 each night. My skin is slowly becoming smoother again naturally. There are some scar tissue that remains. However, I recommend to not use those razors, graders, etc. especially if you don’t know what you are doing. 👍💯

On the third week you will already notice the big change aside from those cracked skin. Give your feet a good scrub all over and remove all those dirt and dead skin that also contribute bad odor. This also give you a smooth texture especially applying a foot moisturizing lotion.
