Aloha from Honolulu Dr Daniel! Great sunscreen info. Been loving Australian Gold tinted SPF 50 for the face and SPF 70 for the body. Both are water resistant and mineral based. 💕

Thanks Dr. Sugai, You are always upbeat and encouraging. Would you consider Biore Athlizm a good beach sunscreen? Any other Japanese sunscreens you would recommend for the beach? I find them more affordable than US or European (ISDIN, for example) sunscreens.
I love your videos! Thank you! I’ve been using Neutrogena’s Age Shield Face spf 70 over my Olay Vitamin C moisturizer. It is a luxurious facial sunscreen and goes on silky feeling. Although it leaves a white cast, I use a tinted bb cream to cover the white cast.

You’re right. Skincare in general has become less affordable with inflation, even the drugstore products have gotten much more pricey.
I agree…the price of sunscreen is ridiculous. I’ve been using Scenic and Beauty of Joseon purchased at StyleVana. It takes a while to receive them, but the prices are good. I also like the tinted Drmtlgy …it actually lasts a long time, though is pricier.

It is very water resistant designed for use at the beach and going into the water.

Hi Dr Sugai! Been watching ur channel for awhile now. It’s kind of random to ask this but I have a mysterious red mark on my arm that I don’t know what it is! It looks like a birthmark but in bright red colour. When I rub it, it seems like it’s disappearing but after a few seconds it’s back. Tried to google and the closest I get is red mole. But google said red mole does not disappear temporarily when you rub on it😮 Hope to find out what it is as it’s been on my arm since I was a kid!
Great video. I wen’t on vacation to Spain. And i got a little bit sun burned. My partner sun burned his head, he has very short hair. And after a fee days the skin came off. How can i prevent it from happening again. And witch type of sun screen do you advice for men with short hair?

La Roche Posay is too expensive for it to burn the living hell out of my eyes but korean skincare is actually a lot better for my skin
La Roche Posay is a European brand. European versions are fine.
They are obliged to make sunscreens with US filters for the American market.
